AVAST is the Company from HELL!
I canceled my account and removed the software.
A year later they billed me and I had to spend 3 hours on the phone to get a refund and an assurance the account was canceled.
One year after that I got billed AGAIN and had to spend 2 hours on the phone to get a refund.
When I asked why they billed me again they said "Your canceled account is marked for rebilling"
DONT USE THIS COMPANY
Tip for consumers:
They put you on hold for hours if you try to contact billing. Every other line connects in less than 5 minutes.

They charged me in advance following year's subscription via Paypal, without sending any email...
