I shopped with Amazon all the time, I spend about £8000 a year.
One day I got an email saying due to possible fraud my account had been permanently closed.
I tried in vain to contact customer service, even spoke on chat to people who PROMISED someone would be in touch within 24 hours and each time it was a lie.
I received no apology, no compensation.
I had a pair of shoes that needed returning but can't create a return. I had open orders that never arrived - I'm very out of pocket which is totally disgusting.

I opened a new account with a new email address and would you believe 2 days later I got the same email. Utterly ridiculous situation but the customer service is infuriating.

a second account set up in my name, they're billing me for it, they know it isn't me. They won't apologise, won't confirm the affect on my credit rating, won't sort the problem out (even tried to tell me it IS my account). I've suggested as the postal invoices have my address correct they could at least actually send me the items being ordered. Surely a SECOND account o the same address int he same name should flag up a possible fraud? erm apparently not.
They're incompetent, rude and ineffective, I will never order with them again as I'm now stuck with this problem indefinitely because of some insufficiently trained minimum wage administrator representing the brand.
