I have been given double talk and excuses about my Funko pop yourself feature. The figures had marks on their faces and NO accessories were attached. I have other Funko figures that have ALL extras i.e. Hats, signs and so on permanently affixed. I have repeatedly requested refunds for these abominations that were shoddy workmanship at the best. I have collected Funkos for some time and realize how little consumers of this product are treated. I was taken in by the excitement of creating your likeness and overwhelmed by its inception. These items(Funkos)have flooded the marketplace and I am certain it will hit the proverbial wall just as the Beanie Babies did. When the market is saturated with so many variables and versions of Funkos, it is only a matter of time when people realize what a worthless endeavour it is to collect so many of them. I know of a person with a supposed collection worth $4,500.00, although if no one wants to pay what Funkos are "supposedly" worth, then they will no longer be a worthwhile item to have or follow. It may be quite some time until others realize the worthless pursuit of having a Movie, Televison, Cartoon or Music themed figure. My nephew eloquently pointed out, "Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain". I am fairly certain in foretelling a fad or craze that, at some point will come to a screeching halt. I am disappointed at how, as a collector how easily I was duped by all the excitement and publicity Funkos have garnished. I suppose the founders and CEOs are laughing all the way to the bank. A day will come when this craze passes, although not soon enough for people to realize how taken in they are by all of this.
