Our home value has, according to Zillow, steadily decreased, while homes all around us have increased. Why? Who knows! I sent an e-mail to Zillow about this; they told me that they use "neural networks" to appraise homes. What BS! On our block alone, they have missed several homes that have been torn down and rebuilt to a much larger size. Houses in our area routinely sell for prices ~50% higher than shown on Zillow. Don't bother with this silly website.
I signed up to get help with an appliance repair. They couldn't find a "consultant," but they charged me a steep fee anyway.
