When it started it may have been good, but no longer. If any of the women are real they treat it like a regular dating site. My experience is there are none, which cannot be confirmed by AshleyMadison CS, as they will neither confirm nor deny. Every 'woman' I conversed with in my most recent use of the site was fake. AM CS does reimburse credits if a profile is fake and you spent credits to contact. You need to be diligent on taking screen shots and reporting directly. Its still just a big waste of time and money. Just find a local asian massage parlor… cheaper in the long run of paying for female companions. From wife to escort, you're gonna pay.

These sites should be illegal.

Total scam site. Fake profiles. Messages always come in right after your last credit is spent. Fake Girls contact you talking like they want to hook up, then when you call them on it it turns into 'I'm looking for a gentleman' … on a hookup site … 'I can't meet you until I know you're a real person' … which a public meeting would confirm immediately. They also have a fake 'Date Garauntee'. Lol Read the terms in my uploaded pictures. Buyer beware.

Be forewarned! Though there might actually be 'real' women here, the site has obvious fake profiles that will interact with you, pushing you to spend credits. You've all seen it… You barely get access to the site, haven't even begun a bio let alone uploaded a pic and already three girls are sending you messages? Mmm… BS much?

Update: I received an email from Liz reassuring me that there are no fake profiles. Interesting that so many here have similar experiences. She stated they issued a refund for my 100 credit purchase, so I guess we'll see. I saw a review that one gentleman spent 20 months on this site. I can't imagine the amount of money he spent, thousands likely, before meeting his SB only to spend even more on her. Another reviewer claims to have had a conversation with a girl who admitted that the women are incentivized to drain credits form men's accounts with endless conversations that lead nowhere.

As men, we pay regardless of the relationship… traditional or SD/SB. The target is a mans heart, and its a easy target to hit. Read The Rational Male and hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

Tip for consumers:
I didn’t ask for a refund as it’s pointless waste of time, which is the point if these predatory types of dating sites.

First red flag is EVERY profile looks like a model. There are so many of these sites and its hard to understand how they stay operational after so many people get scammed. I knew going in that this was such a site. ANY cost per activity site is going to be a scam, regardless of overall rating or any reviews of "real customers". Look for receipts such as I will provide.

They start by the typical bum rush of contacts before you even get a chance to set your profile up. (#1 red flag - immediate contact). Next they entice you with a relatively low cost initial investment. ($3.99 for 2 credits - see photos) It ramps up quick after that. (also, see photos)

I started speaking with a couple 'ladies'. There is absolutely no ability to verify these are the exact girls who you are talking to. Most of the interactions are generally personal preference on dating or dating goals information exchange, but if you ask specific questions about background they are typically ignored or unanswered. The few camshare chats I participated in had no sound and the girls were obviously catfishing. The amount of money I was able to delete from my account by speaking to multiple girls in less than a week is obscene! Then things took a turn…

One girl I chatted with for 15-20 minutes sent me 3 emails and attempted 10 calls in 10 minutes at 6:40 the next morning. The suspect email is in my attached photos. Summary: My mom is sick and the only medication is in your town. No specific information, very generic and obvious.

Another girl proposed we make a porn video. (There is a requirement for men to be on the site for 90 days before you can request the contact information of your love interests.) The girl informed me she was in the US/CA and could come to my city and we could shoot a video. Remember, I've been on the site for less than a week. I was a little shocked and dumbfounded but curious, so I inquired how that would be possible due to restrictions on direct contact information exchanges. She informed me that through the site email, we could disclose city or location and meet in person without requesting contact information through the site. The key here was that we stay in contact on the site. (buying credits) I didn't take it any further, and can only assume two bad scenarios; paying for more credits to stay indefinitely in contact or potential set up for nefarious/criminal activities.

The one girl I actually had a normal exchange of chat and email (the 1% chance of real woman, but most likely a very well trained scammer), became very negative and angry in her correspondence when I voiced my concerns about the site.

I didn't bother requesting a refund as one of the below videos actually states charmdate is run out of Shanghai.

For anyone truly looking to go outside of western countries, or anyone looking for more traditional women check a few videos on YT. Mail Order Bride Scams and Match Guaranty

Tip for consumers:
Don’t use credit per action dating sites!
