I was excited about gifting our friends with a quality basket like the one I found with GiftTree however despite paying extra to have it arrive on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, it was not delivered until 2 days later than the date I designated. The response from Customer Service was "the shippers are slow due to Covid". Really? For someone that has UPS at my house EVERY day, I found that to be a poor excuse. Though I didn't ask for any refund, I was told that "no refund on the shipping charges would be given since they can't get a refund from the shipper". Seems there could have been some attempt made to correct an issue and the bad feelings it left but, they chose not to.
