I gave them a one star because I could not give them zero star. Mason sent me a refund and an account overdue statement on the same day. When I called to explain that the only reason my account was overdue was because they had not applied my electronic banking payment to my account, and instead had issued me a refund, they became belligerent and stated they would only discuss my account after I paid the late payment and penalties first. This was after I had asked to speak to a manager. I was a customer of Masons for well over 10 years with a perfect payment history. I sent an email to the president of Mason explaining what happened. They sent an automated response of ‘Thanks for contacting us, blah blah blah, we will be in touch.' I never heard from them again except for their sales catalog which I have thrown in the recycle bin for years. Their competitor has excellent customer service and I buy all my families shoes there.
