I will admit that the Intelius website is fairly tricky. If you plan to use their paid services I would advise you to be observant, cautious and to male sure you read the fine print. The next sketchy thing that this website does is they try to target your wallet. What I found was that regardless of what I clicked on, for example, it always triggered an offer for paid services even if I was purposely trying to avoid any sort of paid services. Another example is, I needed to do a reverse phone number search for a number that continually called and texted me. Yes, you need to create a login username and password to use paid services, so I literally only paid less than $1 for one reverse phone number search. I was disappointed when the results of that search were absolutely zero results. Later, like a couple days later, I got an email from them saying that yes their were no search results for the number and they were refunding my money. At that point I decided it would be a good idea to contact them to make sure and verify that I had not signed up for any service that would bill my card on file. I even made them delete my payment method on file with them.Then, 9 whole days passed by and BOOM a $39.48 charge popped up on my PayPal account! WHAT! Oh no they didn't! Obviously, I called immediately. This is where I was definitely impressed! The kind, polite and courteous woman I spoke with listened to what I had to say and quickly responded with an apology and offer to be refunded right then and there. She assured me that, if I wanted, she would delete my account. Which of course I did. And even then she offered me to use their paid services for 30 days free of charge for the inconvenience. Very impressed with the customer service and support she provided me. That much I definitely appreciate!
