Horrible customer service. I ordered a christmas present for my girlfriend from "the book depository us" on amazon. Because their name says US in the title, I was ordering a Colorado avalanche hockey calendar, and the shipping time frames were about a week away I didn't really think about the timing. When I ordered it it said it could be here from the 18th to the 26th. I figured worse comes to worse it's a day late. But I messaged them with the order to find out if they could send it right away so I could get it closer to the 18th instead of the 26th. No answer. It was marked sent on the 13th, so I emailed them and asked for the tracking number. No answer, then again and they responded with a usps tracking number. I followed the link and it said a label had been created but the package was not dropped off. At this point it's the 16th. So unless it was in California it's not coming on the 18th. I asked if they could please drop off the package and they said it was already shipped. I sent them a picture of ths usps page saying just the label was created and they said, "we already sent the package, I can't ship a package that is already shipped." I responded again astonished st the lack of customer service and eventually they sent me a UK tracking number. They said that it only takes 5-7 business days to ship from the uk to colorado. I order things all the time from the uk and it definitely takes longer. I tried to cancel the order and they said it was too late. But when I recieve it I could pay to ship it back and they would give me a refund. It will cost me more to ship it then I paid. Plus they ensured me it would be there by the 26th. It's the 19th and it's still in the UK. This company is a joke. If you buy from them dont bother contacting them with a problem. They have rude customer service and they wont do a damn thing to help you. My advise is buy from literally anywhere else. If they would have been up front and not so shady about where they shipped from or how long it would take I would have never contacted them in the first place.
