For multi-volume work such as Hume's History of Great Britain, it is very annoying that the volume numbers are not clearly posted - and sometimes not at all. Too much like hard work.

Usual high standards, but I'm afraid that multi-volume books MUST have clearly displayed the volume number. One of the volumes of Hume's History of Great Britain in this order does not have its series number shown. I shallhave to ask for a refund on this if there is duplication.

It was frustrating to find at least six entries for Hanna Batatu's The Old Social Classes and the Revolutionary Movement in Iraq at less than £7, but almost whenever I clicked on them, I found they were no longer available, until the last - when the 'no longer available''message did not appear - but neither did the cheaper book itself. I gave up - I can't pay £372.

AS above, I have no complaint. The revised and expanded edition of MoM is curiously marked as 1969 - the other, first ed was surely 1981, and the Norton revised and expanded is 1996. It is important that the revised and expanded be sent today.

Just as well I searched for the specific contents of vol 21, as that (ie Future of an Illusion/Civilisation and its discontents) turned out to be the easiest way of identifying that volume - using numbers of collected editions is a weak point in your cataloguing
