After choosing talk talk to provide me with broadband, a date was set for the installation. No body showed up and no body bothered to contact me to let me know. I rang several different numbers including the one I had received from the engineer, but had no response. The following day I rang and rang but couldn't get through to a person just an annoying voicemail. Finally I sent an email, which i did get a response from and a new installation date was fixed. No apologies were offered. The engineer came on said day, all was well for half an hour, then no internet connection, after hours of chat on the phone, where I was being asked to do this and that to try and resolve the fault, I said this isn't good enough you need to send an engineer, I was told I would have to pay £ 50 for the privilege. I decided enough was enough to rang to cancel the contract as is my right within 20 days. I was told I would be charged for 6 days service up until they could disconnect the line. I argued I had no service, but the man was adamant and rude. The call centre is in India and the staff are difficult to understand and make the whole situation even more frustrating. Terrible experience all round
