I found a real person... we have hit it off for almost 6 months now.
We are moving forward and all looks great. Neither of us were what we were looking for... different races, different backgrounds... but once we got to know each other... it couldn't be more right
I appreciate Zoosk being the "Place that we met"... we met at TGIF, had a drink and a 2 hour conversation and haven't looked back...
Good luck to everyone else
I did meet someone so thank you for that but I'm not very pleased I was charged again since I thought I had cancelled my subscription!
You waste our time when you send age or race of ppl not wanted by customers. I
Could have really enjoyed this site otherwise. It was quite a headache sorting them out and I wouldn't recommend this site for that reason.
I like app the only thing wrong is I don't like how hard it was to cancel subscription, the website was not allowing me access I had to do multiple time it would be nice to have a number or a call help center
The scammers post a photo with a telephone number and the words "text me" added with text in the image. The service does little or nothing to police them. Also, mark the date your 30 days comes up or you'll get billed again.
One would think a paid subscription would grant you full access to everything available on the site. But Zoosk manages to create numerous ways to dupe you out of even more money.
I read a lot of reviews here about fake profils on Zoosk. Yes, I have been contacted by many "girls" who's profile picture includes a phone number with the message "Text me". I always reported them and blocked them and had no problem.
I met a lady who was contacted in an attempt to steal money from here. She was a little naive and almost got caught. So be aware.
Aside that, I met a lot of real ladies, in person, that I got to know through Zoosk. I just terminated my subscription with Zoosk, because I have met a really nice lady and I hope for the best for both of us. So it can work.
The problem I have with Zoosk is pricing and what you get for it.
First, they lie about their prices. I wanted to take a one-month subscription, which was announced at 30$ (or something). After I completed the whole subscription process, I was told that subscription price was 30$ (or something) PLUS a 25$ activation fee. So a one-month subscription does not cost 30$, it costs 55$. As I said, they lie.
Second, even at that price, you don't get access to all the site's functionalities. For example, I noticed that lots of members could not contact me. It's then that I realized that I had to pay an extra 10$ if I wanted to chat with all members... And there are other functionalities for which you have to pay extra money.
Also, they have the ever very annoying policu of automatic membership renewal (without your explicit consent). Be aware of that as well.
So, Zoosk works (it has worked for me), but they lie about prices.
I joined Zoosk for one month. I thought that the profiles I was reading and the photos that I was viewing were real--sadly MANY are not! There are fake profiles of people who are not zoosk members and trying to steer you off the website with text and e-mail addresses--Zoosk does nothing to control these. Men and Women who have departed from the Zoosk website (myself included) continue to have their profiles and photos displayed as if they were still members. I viewed over 2,000 female profiles and responded to well over 200--I received less than 10 responses. The most "views" and contacts I received were after I left the site--they do this to try and get you to renew your subscription. They also use some random profile generator called "carousel" to send you candidates--however, YOU have no controls to the parameters they set and you get proposed matches that are from left field and totally unuseful! This site is a terrible waste of time for someone who is serious about finding someone. They also use another technique of sending your candidate flowers, candy teddy bears or other icons--this is just stupid but people fall for it and pay the additional money. This is the worst $29.99 that I have ever spent in my life! Please DO NOT be foolish. One last measurement is that MANY Women and Men use photos that are 20 years old some even older, along with this many send pictures of pets or scenic views--Really don't care what your dog, cat or horse look like. If I could renew my subscription for free, I would pass.
Good sotrhhhh&bvccbnjkkk bbbbn bhhddd gggggggnnjkkj. Uhg 're fhjijbvccccgghh8 tutto8ht and 5
Do you believe in love at first site... I do. We met for a drink then took a romantic stroll in the park. 6 hr later were still talking and laughing and not wanting the date to end. I have a good feeling bout dis gal.
To all people who are considering subscribing: take the words from people who got conned...it's an absolute money sucking site which is only aimed at what it's been designed for!!!
Don't waste your time and hard earned money!!!
I have absolutely no complaints about this dating site. It was easy to use, and the interface was good. I'd recommend this to others.
Memberships are free. Subscriptions are not. I signed up for a 6 month subscription. I got a very low rate of replies and began to wonder why. Members cannot reply. They cannot even read the messages sent. Yes, I was sending messages to some people who cannot even read them or reply to them! (In other words, Zoosk was letting me waste my time sending messages that could not be read unless recipient had a subscription) Only someone with subscription can reply UNLESS I pay another 9.99/month for "premium messaging." I called Zoosk and ask how many of the advertised number of members were actually subscribers and they would not tell me. Whole experience made me feel Zoosk is very misleading! Shame on them!
I've been on Zoosk for 2 weeks and am unsubscribing, deleting my profile (or trying to anyway), and asking them for a refund (haven't heard back, not too optimistic from all the other comments). The other comments about 'fake' profile views are absolutely true. Today I noticed that my profile had been viewed by a lady that I had viewed and was interested in. On a hunch I messaged her and asked if she had viewed me at such-and-such time today. She wrote back and said that she had never looked at my profile before. So essentially Zoosk is lying to me when they tell me someone has viewed me. If this is a lie, what else is? Trust is gone, period.
I've tried other sites and met a lot of scammers. Zoosk makes online meeting safer by having many different forms of verification. I only spoke with members who verified at least one way. I've met more real men who want to meet in person on this site than any other. I have become serious about one man. Thanks.
I downloaded the app and began using Zoosk and found the matched to be random and the site has too many gimmicks. I paid a monthly fee and apparently when you sign up it automatically makes you a member where you will be charged every month even if it is on hold. I used the site for a week then put it on hold. It came off hold so I tried canceling it. I received my bill and they had charged me for 5 months of use. There is no contact info, only an email. Send 2 emails and of course never heard back. Called I tunes and they credited me 75 of the 230. I Tunes is a great company, Zoosk, I would stay away from them!
Zoosk and the one who is going to be my last love! I'm very lucky yet without Zoosk we never would have met. Chantelle is going to be my last love and best friend.
It is good, but a lot of times I thought that I needed a freedom to set the distance and age of those who can see me - it lead to a few undesirable exchanges when I needed to tell people that I am going to be interested and they were really insting on the reasons.
Answer: These view are fake. Zoosk is lousy site! They obviously mislead their customers giving them fake likes and matches. You get instant bot auto-responses. I left to http://J4Love.net The result of my search there is incredibly awesome: I finally spent Christmas with my woman! I had wasted 11 months on Zoosk and then it took me just one month here to meet my perfect woman. Don't let Zoosk con you into their shady and phony "dating" kingdom. Zoosk is worthless, time is precious! The longevity of profiles is tremendous, they are there for years, obviously outdated.
Answer: The real matches are scant and located at distant places. The fake matches are abundant especially when your membership is about to end. It's phony. I met my girlfriend on http://J4Love.net This dating service is a lot better than Zoosk, Match, Tinder, etc. They are more professional with ethical approach to business - something that Zoosk lacks now. Zoosk used to be better couple of years ago, but now they suck.
Answer: ZOOSK, is a total RIPOFF
Answer: NO MA'AM IT IS NOT. In fact I only used the coins when I could get them for free. Under the system that's no longer possible. Nobody takes that sort of thing seriously, and for a woman it's even less relevant.
Answer: In the two months I have been on Zoosk. I have chatted with a number of woman, exchanged phone numbers and talked on the phone and I am just an average looking joe. I have also had times when I received a chat request and the person does not respond. You do have to pay to chat and the other person has to be a paid member. OK if your reading this there is one thing I found, if you search, only pay attention to the ones that say "recently online", the other ones may be fake or no longer active. It's a numbers game I have had many that did not respond to my messages also.
Answer: I believe it is. But how safe is the internet these days. Just don't be quick to give too much information too soon you will know when its right to share. Good luck
Answer: Not at all don't bother buying them just play some games u will get some
Answer: Chances are you're sending a message to someone that was a member long ago and isn't registered any longer. Zoosk is a total scam.
Answer: Unfortunatly not. You have to be a member. I suggest you don't try this site. It won't help you to find wat you're looking for. Cheers. R.
Answer: I can't believe you expect that! The whole idea is anonymity until people are comfortable with exchanging personal info.
