“Engaged in unfair business practices by not living up to the agreement we made”

NO STAR review: I had a lifetime cloud back up plan and recently Zoolz informed me that my lifetime plan will become obsolete unless I upgrade to a premium plan at AN ADDITIONAL COST TO ME. Further, I paid for my Lifetime plan almost 3 years ago and thought that was the end of any additional fees. And if I do agree to an upgrade on THEIR TERMS, I will be paying for an annual subscription, meaning I will have to pay whatever they are charging each year and no doubt, each year the cost will go up. This company has acted in bad faith and am not quite certain how they are able to not honor their agreement for my lifetime plan, but they are. I did try to get a full refund on my original payment for the Lifetime plan, but was denied since it was well past the 30 days to request a full refund. And I have reported them to the BBB but I am not sure if they can do much since this outfit is out of the UK. I can certainly let others know however about their deception and dishonesty by giving Zoolz poor reviews on this site as well as others. I say shame on them.

I recently downloaded the app GCloud from the play store seeking cloud storage for several thousand photos. GCloud was rated at 4.6 which is a very decent rating. They advertised up to 10gb free. I downloaded the app and as most apps do, they had an entire Page of premium services listed. One was listed as a one time fee of $29.99 tb storage, keyword here was "Lifetime". At that point I decided that that was entirely too good to pass up, and so I ordered it, Assuming, that it was an upgrade from the original 10gb, to the lifetime TB storge. ( I DO have a LOT of photos). Needless to say I was incorrect in my assumptions and the advertised Lifetime TB storge was from a sister company called Zoolz. Turn's out that the ad I read, and clicked on, took me to a different site and it was actually $29.99 for the FIRST year, and then an additional 69.00 every year after! I have been trying, for the past 6 days to be refunded due to misleading advertising. Oh, and as for GCLOUD? You don't actually get 10gb like it shows, you only get one. All in all it was a terrible experience

Tip for consumers:
Be very aware of advertising regarding upgrading your product. It's not always what it seems
