Horrible electric chair
September 19, 2022

I bought a Zinger a few years and had nothing but trouble not only do I have to purchase rear wheel at least twice a year, but bolts and parts are easily lost. I bought the Warrenty and need your company to fess up to your guarantee, and fix my chair. This chair cost me more than I make in Medicare, and you need to take responsibility in your product, and company does not take responsibility. Had to buy an extra battery in order to meet my needs, just horrible

My new zinger
September 17, 2022

I am very pleased with my Zinger it's lightweight and I can go just about anywhere I'm so glad I saw the commercial but I was much more pleased when I actually got to use it, this is an awesome piece of equipment And I believe that anyone who purchases it will be very satisfied as well.

Dangerous!
July 29, 2022

On level ground the ZInger Chair is pretty good.

It is very dangerous when trying to drive it down or up a ramp, especially where turns are involved.

It's not going to happen.

Why? Unless you are pulling up on the direction levers the chair is in neutral - no control whatsoever.

Think about that!

Plus both tires require 42lbs of pressure - lose pressure, you can lose control and not everyone has an air compressor handy.

Adding a second review after two years
January 19, 2022

After two years I like and recommend BUT this can't be a full-time chair. Driving with two hands is fun. Really fun actually and nimble and intuitive. But carrying things when doing so is a challenge. So it's not great for home. But the worst is that you can't go anywhere when the ground is wet. Sit and spin. I'd pay more for this device if it had bigger, better rear wheels and a bit more power. The backup beep is annoying AF. I'm disabled - not a dump truck. I'm now driving a Falcon for travel which is slower and janky but more powerful.

I have a Zoomer, not a Zinger. The chair is A+ for mobility and use, but F on design. It's bottom-heavy due to the motor and battery. The anti-tip wheel casters stick out further than the rear wheels, even when they're all the way in. They touch the ground first and they're only held on by cast aluminum, they snap really easily if the weight of the chair rests on them. There's no easy way to replace them, they're part of the rear wheel mount. I've broken one completely off by taking it out of a car - I set it down and just the weight of the chair snapped the caster. They need to be made completely removeable for transport. Other than that, I love the chair. I wish it were easier to buy parts for.

Front tires
January 5, 2022

I recently purchased a Zoomer and so far I'm very satisfied. (The Zinger requires 2 hands to operate so I would avoid that one) The only issue I have encountered is getting off the elevator, the gap on the floor was wide enough that the front tires slipped in. Very concerning so be careful, I am surprised that issue wasn't identified sooner, wider front tires should prevent that from happening.

I like it
September 24, 2021

My husband bought me this chair as my walking was getting bad with MS. Once you get the hang of it it's pretty easy to operate, however you will slide all over the place if it's wet and since I live in Seattle, the epi center for rain, this is problematic to say the least. But if you take it very slow you should de okay! The battery life is iffy and you run out of juice pretty quickly.

No mobility service company will work on the Zinger. Zinger has no one to service them either. A lot of money to spend and not be able to have it serviced!

Update
December 13, 2020
Updated review

So with the pandemic its been hard getting my Zinger repaired. My next step is that since I have the replacement caster wheel assembly, but no idea on how to put it on until I'm able to get to a "bicycle repair shop" I'm just going to have a friend drill out the broken part from the wheel and the fork and make a temporary attachment to each other. Since this is the broken wheel no harm no foul.

Great product/ Awful Customer Service
November 26, 2020
Previous review

Please note that this review is based on Customer Service. Not the product, because this is a great product. I have MS and I've been coming to terms about having to use a wheelchair. Not me. That's not gonna happen. So When I saw a commercial for the Zinger I thought ok its not a wheelchair. I can do this. I ended up buying it on ebay. I saved $700. It was brand new. Fell in love with it. Had it for 2 months. One day I decided to go to grocery store. As I crossed the street up the corner ramp my Zinger almost threw me to the ground. Apparently the caster broke. Had a friend come pick me up. Called on a Friday to get a replacement. I was told no one was there to answer my question about part replacement. It was late. So I was asked for my contact info. Told they would get back to me Monday. Didn't happen. So I called back. Was told to take photos of chair. They gave me a forwarding email address. Waited for a day. No return response. I called back. Was told that I was given the wrong email address. So they gave me another. That email didn't exist. I finally gave up on the company and found part on ebay. Thank God. So great product awful customer service. What I would still like to know was this broken caster just a stroke of bad luck, or should I tread gently? I should also mention the name of the company was First Street

The Zinger chair has enabled me to go anywhere in my home with ease. I am a paralyzed veteran of Vietnam, and I cannot walk on my own. Previously, I got around with a Walker. That was so awkward and inefficient. I have fallen many times and could not get up on my own. As a 91 year old man, I now have my life back with the Zinger. I will be able to visit the new US Army Museum that will open on November 11, Veterans Day. The Zinger will enable me to make the visit.

My grandfather is on oxygen and I purchased this for him because pushing a normal wheel chair began to be too difficult for him. He loves the speed and comfort of the Zinger chair! He even has me looking for a "backup mirror" for his new "toy."! Haha.
He has been able to spend more time in the living room with the family which is a true blessing from God. The Lord Jesus has given my grandfather comfort in these last moments of his here on Earth and I'm grateful that this chair has provided an easier way for us to spend time with him!

I received my chair as a gift, thinking it would help relieve strain on my shoulders. Don't get me wrong its a really neat electrical chair. But since I've gotta use either my crutches, wheelchair, or walker. Using this isn't able to maneuver if there's a high slope on sidewalks or driveways. I've tried so unless someone is with me to hold myself up then be seated again. All in all it's fun and in order to use I'd need an able bodied person with me to use

14 day return policy.
April 21, 2020

The chair was purchased for my husband who has mobility issues due to MS; thought it would assist in him getting around the house and outside. However he did not find it easy to operate. He wanted me to see about returning it but since it's past the 14 days we're stuck with it and out the cost of the chair that will never be used by him. It might be a good option for some but not for anyone that has mobility and/or memory issues. Sometimes 14 days is not enough time to evaluate a product.

This chair makes it so much easier to get around. I was having problems using a manual wheelchair on my carpet. I just wasn't strong enough to keep pushing myself around all day. The Zinger Chair drives right through with no problem. Thanks Zinger.

LEARNING CURVE
April 1, 2020

The chair was purchased for an 89 year old friend of mine. I made the decision to purchase because the chair is light and easy to load in my small car. There is definitely a learning curve; however, I believe it will be a good purchase once she gets the hang of it.
