Zeus DVDs

I ordered a DVD from this fraudulent company on March 28,2019, and they charged my VISA immediately. Never received ANY product from them to this date (December 20,2019--9 MONTHS LATER!). I did email them many months ago and they actually responded with a message advising me that they are "working on filling my order"? Really? You've been "working on filling my order" for NINE MONTHS? I will NEVER do business with these charlatans again. Lesson learned.

Last fall I wrote a fairly favorable review after my first order. Since then I've made several orders, totaling about 20 discs. None has been unsatisfactory & some have been surprisingly good. As a collector of obscure titles, I've worked with several dealers of such material & Zeus is no better or worse than the others. Yes, quality of videos ranges from mediocre to pretty good, but consider how rare the sources of these prints are. Yes, lag time between ordering & delivery can be long: my last order took two months to be filled & I received no answers to my emails. But the discs did come & delays have to be expected with these "print-on-demand" titles. One caution: prints of foreign films are sometimes without English subtitles & the catalog descriptions don't warn about that. To judge from reviews here, I've been one of the lucky ones, but I've found Zeus to be a reliable source for films literally unavailable elsewhere, & his prices are among the lowest around. Bottom line: be cautious ordering foreign titles & be ready to wait a long time.

I am one of the many people who ordered DVDs from Zeus, and did not receive my merchandise. Like everybody else in this situation, I was unable to get any response from Zeus, either by email or telephone. (Two of the phone numbers and one of the email addresses listed on the web site are bogus, messages to the other email are not responded to, and the one phone number that seems to work goes to an answering machine, but is similarly unanswered.) But it seems that some people do receive their merchandise entirely satisfactorily. Basically sounds like a bit of a crap shoot – may work well, but if it doesn't, you are out of luck, and the best thing to do is to go back to the credit card company and submit a "dispute". The credit card company will try to contact the company, and if they are just as unsuccessful as the customer, will reimburse you, and, more significantly, blacklist the merchant. Anybody else who tries to buy from the company – using the credit card issued by the particular credit card company – will have the transaction automatically blocked.

I ordered 3 DVDs from Zeus 2-1/2 months ago, and I have received nothing. I have written numerous emails to Milo, but he has not responded to any of them. He does take the time to send me advertisements to order more DVDs off of him. (Why would I order more when I haven't received my first order yet?) His website says it will take him 1-2 weeks to ship, but 2-1/2 months later, he still hasn't shipped. He took my money immediately, but will not ship the DVDs. Do yourself a favor and save yourself the stress - DON'T ORDER FROM ZEUS DVDS!

I wish I had checked this website before purchasing. I ordered from their website two months ago. I have still have no DVD and despite numerous emails no response from them. Obviously a dodgy website

I was trying to find NJ Playhouse of Showboat they showed on PBS Great Performances in 1989. I had recorded it on vhs and had it a long time, but i moved and it was lost. Tried to find it, found Zeu DVD's and saw it for $12.99 that included shipping and handling. I had read many bad reviews, and a few good ones, and i read all of his website. Ok ya'll listen: HE IS A ONE MAN BAND who has all the work to do himself, so if you need it quick, he is not the one, BUT i got after 7 weeks I got the DVD of Showboat and it was a good transfer from VHS to DVD. Not perfect, but good for my tastes. I decided to give him a chance. He came thru very well, good job, just not very quickly. I hope this helps. To get hard to find Video items, if you can wait, Zeus is the guy. Thanks lucifred.

There's a rare movie that I was trying to find, and I am happy to have found it on this website so that I can finally watch it. However, I have two very serious concerns with the quality of this website.

First, it took 32 days for the seller to ship the product. It took several more days to receive the product from the post.

Second, I feel that the product was misrepresented. I believed that I was purchasing an original copy of the DVD I wanted. I received a cheap burned copy instead. Nowhere on the home page or the product page was it listed that a (possibly pirate) copy of the movie would be delivered. After receiving the product, I found a small sentence on the "about me" page indicating that many of the products have been "preserved as direct film transfers." The price was VERY high for something was not an original. I question, if the original product is not being delivered, why bother sending a physical burned copy at all? Just let me download the movie and burn it to a blank DVD myself.

Recommendation: Only use this website if absolutely desperate to see a movie that is simply unavailable from all other sources.

I ordered a Western DVD with the Actor Howard Duff that I saw on one of my Satellite TV channels. Unfortunately, the DVD was not available by any other venue, so Zeus was the only Website that offered it for purchase. I ordered this DVD on April 24th, 2022 and I received it on May 3rd, 2022 which I viewed today, May 6th, 2022. I was very pleasantly surprised that the quality of the DVD was excellent. The picture clarity was great and also the sound quality was the same. I read some of the previous reviews and many stated that they either had "a delay in getting what they purchased or it never came." Let me state that I am definitely not getting paid to post this positive review. It is just exactly what I personally experienced with this Website. Believe me, I was skeptical at first because you never know what you are going to end up with especially when you place an order for an item from a Website for the first time which is what the case was here. I was very pleased with what I received I am very glad that the DVD that I ordered was delivered in a short and reasonable time frame and also that it "did not look like they just recorded or copied it from some TV Channel." From what I experienced, I recommend this Website for the purchase of a DVD that might be hard to find elsewhere and I hope that future customers also are satisfied with the service from this Website as I was.
