As someone who has a tutor and is terrible in math this doesn't help at all, i ready and ixl are much better than this, it also has the boost thing and i swear it doesn't help it's a literal legal torture method. So please don't make somebody do this, not even your worst enemy. I have to use this for school connections academy so personally i don't pay for it but i'm failing the course :) have a great day

My kids hate it but they are forced to do it at school so the teacher doesn't have to teach them and she gets a break its zern time class. But they are not learning from it either.

Zearn, is awful, it repetitive, mindless, and just plain bad, if your thinking of assigning this DON'T look back and pretend you never though about Zearn

This product does not help anybody, it only teaches them to get the answers from an online source and commit academic fraud. Especially in the tower of power, this is because when you proceed to answer one question incorrectly, instead of giving another chance to the person, as they might have misspelled something. Or perhaps they just needed to figure out on their own, they help them, but send them back to the start, instead of giving them a similar problem and saving their progress. I have done this at school before, I am currently in 12th grade, and I personally think they do not help. This is also because they keep kids on screens for long periods of time, this might sound appealing, but it is just them sitting on a screen doing nothing that engages them. Something like boddle or Ixl might be a little more appealing when comes to rewards and prizes, and games. Over all 1/5. I will give it credit however that on certain occasions it teaches people useful topics if you were to become an accountant, or engineer, otherwise, GARBAGE

When I go on Zearn to do math equation's or more it either denies me even though I put in the correct answer and rather than making lessons more so of a fun type it rather removes the fun part of a lesson of connecting with students in real time and place to a rather digitial place this usually brings down student mentality and reduces a high dopamine intake...

Many others like myself, dislike Zearn. Whether it's rebellion against out of touch corporate websites, the inability to get a question right or the complex breakdowns of incredibly simple concepts. Lessons are known to drag on for long periods of time despite the topic in question being quite simple. The average lesson lasts between 6-10 minutes. Along with tower of power Zearn lessons usually take around 20 minutes. However, that is not the problem. The problem is the grueling task of making children wait to count by TENS around the age they start learning simple algrebra.

I have been doing zearn 6years and when you get behind you try to not tell you parnets anything. My grandmas says its not bad but dosn't want to help and always says satop complning LIKE WHAT I ask her try it but she dosent

They make you restart every time you get a question wrong in tower of power. They bore you with worthless lessons.

Zearn is horrible. Dont use it. It is very annoying. And everyone on this planet should never use zearn

Zearn "helps" by restarting ALL OF YOUR PROGRESS in the tower of power when you get ONE QUESTION WRONG. At least keep the level you're on instead of having to do the same annoying thing to go all the way back up just to get it wrong.(CHECKPOINTS, ZEARN TAKE NOTES)

This app if very repetitive as of February 25 2025 and as most people call it "bad" ofcourse this is very subjective but i think that its bad considering I'm leaving a 1 star ratting. Helpful for people who need help with math but not for me.

The FIRST ONE IS THE SAME THING EVERY TIME NO DIFF 2nd IS WAY TO LONG AND THE THIRD IS HORABLE IT MAKES YOU RESAET IF YOU MAKE ONE MISTAKE I HATE ZEARn

Listen, zearn isn't that bad- It teaches kids stuff and taught me circumference of circles and blah blah blah. (7th grader here by the way, take my words knowing that). It does held you learn. But it's redundant I'm sorry- questions are broken down into WAY too many steps, I know what 8 + 5 is jesus christ. And speaking of that, its like simple multiplication and negation on 7th grade? Seriously? One more point: THE BOX. THE BOX. Tower of power, nearly done, Using the calculator thingy, and i've already made one mistake already, click enter and it reentered my incorrect answers. I'm back to part one of the block thing AND THE GODFORSAKEN BOX gives me a 10 step explanation that took longer then it would if if the explanation was just laid out all at once. This happens so many times I swear to god- its onsite with that box. P.s: You can sign out and sign back in to skip the explanation, on chrome anyways. Thats my rant, if you're here you're either a teacher or a fellow kid/teen who hates zearn.

Teachers love it it sucks! Teachers don't have to do it so they don't know. It glitches and lags its STUPID! Don't do it!

Whenever I get a question, I already know the answer. But Zearn chooses to give me 5 more questions before I can actually answer the question, i'm not a idiot. And in the tower of power, more like the tower of pain, gives us help every time I get a question wrong, and that gets really annoying. They could at least ask if I wanted help, but no.

We are forced to do at least 5 lessons per day. Like, I HATE THIS. Like this sucks. Like who would ever want to play this game.

Zearn is SO SLOW. Takes forever to load, and most times the entire page just crashes. Would NOT recommend. Zearn also make you do an entirely new problem if you get something incorrect.
