I'd been looking at the Zager site for what felt like years before deciding to finally bite the bullet and get one of these things. The comparisons to much more expensive guitars was always compelling to me, as well as the whole Zager story, and so I finally picked one up.

Ordering experience was good, no issues processing the order on the website. I heard from Dennis once the guitar shipped, and received tracking information. I received the guitar on the day promised.

When I opened the box, the guitar was packed carefully and shipped in its own hard case. The case itself is beautiful, much better quality than I expected. With the Zager logo dented into the top of the case, making it look very sharp. The inside of the case is soft and hugs the guitar, protecting it, perfectly. I received a truss rod adjustment tool, a certificate of authenticity, and one of their custom picks (nice touches).

Now the guitar... the wood is amazingly beautiful and excellent quality. The build of this guitar is stunning and the action out of the box is just right. Even with a 3/4 scale neck, this thing is set up like an electric guitar, and easy to play! The resonance on this is amazing. I've owned a Baby Taylor and other small scale guitars in the past. None of them with that kind of resonance- the notes just sing out forever. The overall sound is excellent for a small-bodied guitar, not the sound of a full scale, but more than great for at home practice and playing with friends.

Overall value of everything I got was well worth the price. These guitars are more expensive than your standard "entry-level" guitar but much less expensive than the best out there, and yet it is closer to a higher end guitar. So, I'd say go for it if you've been watching videos on their website for while now.

If you are looking for outstanding play ability and quality in a guitar, you can't go wrong with a Zager guitar. Just received my ZAD50ce and can't put it down. I have arthritis in my left (fretting) hand and this guitar lives up to it's EZ play reputation. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend Zager to anyone looking for a quality guitar. I will admit that I was a bit nervous about purchasing a guitar without holding it and playing it a bit beforehand, but the Zager website Q&A and reviews plus a few YouTube videos of the guitar models made me feel better about pulling the trigger. I could not be happier that I did! My ZAD-50 was delivered today and out of the box (with just a little fine tuning) it was ready to play. The quality, craftsmanship, sound and playability of this instrument is equal to, and possibly even better than any Martin I've ever played. Simply an AWESOME guitar and I'm extremely happy I purchased this one instead of laying out A LOT more money for a Martin. The guitar arrived 4 days after I ordered it and was far beyond my expectations. The Zager family has been super helpful this past week with answering questions and keeping me informed on shipping status while I waited for my guitar to arrive. Thank you all and keep up the great work!

I received the new ZAG50CEOM guitar in its hard shell case with humidity reader yesterday and needless to say I am thrilled beyond words! We are in love! She is absolutely beautiful, easy to play, and sounds wonderful. I could not be happier. Now I have to figure out how and when to share it with my son who is eager to learn to play. Love the auto tuner. It makes it so easy to keep the guitar in tune when playing.

Zager customer service is superb and next to none. They have responded promptly to all my emails and phone calls. If you order a guitar and it doesn't meet your expectations, its an easy and free return. They have accommodated my requests without hesitation and I could not be happier with their way of doing business. And most importantly I am thrilled with my Zager guitar in every respect.
I did not choose Zager blindly. The song leader of our church choir has had one for a couple of years and has let me play it. I have always noticed its beautiful tone and fullness of sound. I was quite impressed with the ease of playability, and the quality of craftsmanship. I am so thrilled to have made this investment for myself.

I ordered the ZAD50CE in the sunburst. Very fast shipping. Fast and excellent communication via email. But in the email it includes phone #'s to reach them if you need anything at all. There's absolutely nothing negative to say about it! From top to bottom, it's gorgeous. Every inch of it is perfect. Playing it with out an amp sounds excellent. Plugged into my normal guitar amp... it is incredible! Very user friendly. The electronics are great and the tuner is SUPER helpful and convenient. IT IS WORTH THE HYPE! Compared to other acoustic guitars, you'll be able to play a lot longer because it's so comfortable to play. I highly recommend that if someone is brand new to playing the guitar and prefers to learn on an acoustic, this definitely the perfect guitar for them. Over all... I'm very impressed with the whole guitar and the Company!

Finally after 8 other guitars I found THE one... Not lying when I say it is exactly what I have been looking for... Weight, size, sound, beauty and above all easy playing. I went shopping a while ago determined to come home with a parlor Martin or Taylor, but when I played them i was not at all impressed with the sound. Then a friend of mine who owns 3 Zager guitars and has been singing their praises for years brought them by and it was truly Love at First Sound! R! And the icing on the cake... their Parlor electric acoustic turned up last week in my living room sent to me by my brother! Please do yourself a favor everyone and try one. You will love it. Zager Guitars produces one of the absolute best series of acoustic guitars available. As a recent new owner of a ZAD900F model I can assure everyone it will exceed expectations. I have played Fender, Yamaha, Breedlove, Alvarez, Takamine, Gibson, Martin, and Taylor to name a few well known guitar brands and none are better just maybe more expensive. Once you hold one in your hands and take time to look at every detail from various angles the high degree of quality of wood materials, hardware, bracing, assembly, and exterior finishing will manifest as it does with all high calibre products. Superb rich sound, clarity, and resonance.

A little over a year ago I purchased a ZAD 900ce, an amazing guitar in every way. It's my daily player and I play it with great pride. Recently I watched a short video where Dennis and Dennis Jr. Were showcasing the special addition all black ZAD 80ce. I was struck with it's beauty. In most every way it's identical to the 900 aside from a cedar top instead of the spruce top of the 900 and different binding. But the beauty of the all black guitar made me want to add it to my collection, knowing already that I would be purchasing the hugest quality guitar, backed by unparalleled service. The guitar arrived a few days ago and it did not disappoint, it truly is a beauty. It was fun for me to compare to tonal differences between the two, it's only a slight subtle difference and impossible for me to decide on a favorite. I now have two "daily players" and couldn't be happier. Thank you to both Dennis and Dennis Jr.

This guitar will play head to head with any Gibson, Taylor or any other. Compare it to the best and you will be amazed. I researched quality guitars for many months and played many guitars at shops but this Zager 900 CE is by far the best. The low end is amazing. The Aura system is great. The action is fantastic. Just look at the grain and finish on the pictures. The inlayed pearl everywhere is beautiful. You cannot go wrong on their guarantee that they will pay shipping back if you don't like it. Their web site has so many videos. Watch EVERY one and then you will understand why I chose to buy one. The help page full of videos is also a great help. Why did I buy the 900 CE and not one of the cheaper ones? Because I listened to many a person who recorded phone calls to Zager who said they bought a 50, then an 80 and then a 900. I figured, why not just save up and buy one! So I did and I'm not sorry I did. Thank you Mr. Zager for creating such a fine instrument. I LOVE IT!

Several weeks back I received an email from Denny Jr explaining how the ZAD50CE that I had ordered, was in its final stages of being 'finished', when an unfortunate incident occurred at the shop causing 6 guitars (including mine) to be ruined. Without hesitation they offered a full refund or the option of an upgrade (at no additional cost) to the next model. Of course I took the upgrade! As advertised I had the (upgraded) guitar in my hands within 3 days of that email... Customer Service is absolutely unbelievable. As for as the product - It was everything and more that I could have hoped for... I'm a big guy with large hands... The Easy Play concept is the real deal... Especially for a beginner like me... Thanks for everything you do and look forward to my next purchase...
