In detail, I spoke to another employee who transfer me to Ian Moore, He went through the set-up explaining and showing me what needs to be done, with me following on my computer. He made sure I completely understand each section throughly, he also had patience and understanding. I actually enjoy the time. Thanks and looking forward to the next time, if there is anything I forget. Thanks again for the understanding.
When I was first contacted by yodle, I was skeptical because I don't generally trust sales people who call out of the blue. But that call was the total truth. Nothing the salesman said was exaggerated; he never promised me above and beyond what I should expect. It's been a positive route from the start. Within the first 30 days I saw results, and within the first 60 days I made enough to pay for yodle for 6 months. The salesperson also told me I should expect follow up calls and sure enough I still get calls from reps making sure I'm being taken care of. I actually feel important to the company. Like they need me as much as I need them. I'm happy I took that call and signed up. I may believe salesmen more now!
Yodle talks one way before you give them your bank info then demand in a nice way to gain access to your other online connections over and over until I told them I was "Out" and demanded they close my account. A month goes by and the last person I talked to did'nt understand what I said. They get another $200.
I was overwhelmingly surprised at the simplicity of the entire process of setting up our website and marketing links on yodle. I really like the ease with which I can input or import contacts and the reminders for emails. I am looking forward to using this program for keeping our appointments important events organized for better planning and better time management.
When I decided to work with Yodle, I was very skeptical. Spent $3000 per month on adwords on Google. Went with the same budget for our mental health clinic through Google. What impressed me with Yodle is the representative Meredith Jones. We spoke regularly and she has been very attentive to our needs and questions. The first month is scary-- until the program they use kicks in. Have seen a 40% increase in viable referrals to our group. This is a great service for people who have some marketing savvy, but not enough to be successful on Google. The biggest advantage is their attentiveness. Many companies spend time with you once, then collect your money. I feel like its a real partnership. I don't see anything that would be construed as negative-- more of an issue as an enterpreneur giving control to others. But it is working and have nothing but good things to say about Yodle. Yodle took excellent care of us. The assistant was extremely courteous, informative, understanding and helpful in setting up our website. We spent alot of time together to ensure that our needs were met. I am very pleased with their service.
I was a bit skeptical in the beginning, and slow to sign up and take the plunge. I am glad I did. The first week I started getting calls for repairs. One of the awesome things that I loved is when a customer writes a review for your business, it can go straight to your Facebook page. That is even more exposure. In reality your investment doubles up on the people who see it. I am a believer. Yodle works!
My experience with Yodle was magnificent. There representative (Bonnie)was extremely helpful in her description of Yodles system and how they work. She said it would take about 15 minutes but took a little longer because of all of my questions asked. She never ever rushed me and answered each question! Five Stars for sure!
Second week with sign up at Yodle.com all ready had phone call about work! Can not believe our co. Has 40 first page listings on google pages. The people at yodel.com will go out of there way to help make your company a success! THANK YOU! Bill special thanks to Courtnay
Okay, let's do the math. In the months immediately preceding them being sold, suddenly a huge number of 5-star reviews appear on this site--all brand new users with just one review. Coincidence?
My congratulations to the folks at Yodle for fooling the folks at Web.com enough for them to shell out $300 million to buy them. If I were a Web.com shareholder, I'd start shorting them now, because it won't be long before they realized they bought a worthless company that is full of good salespeople and not much else.
This company will do nothing for your small business but hurt it. Don't say you weren't warned.
Hi Bud,
I read your review and I’m sorry to hear that you have a negative perception of Yodle. We strive to provide small businesses with effective marketing solutions, supported by a stellar customer service team, and we are happy that our customers are finding success and sharing their stories. However, we do realize that we are not perfect and that every company will receive less than satisfactory ratings at some point. I would like to hear more about your experience, if you would be open to sharing additional details, could you reach out to me? We take feedback like this very seriously and I’d like to try to help. Please reach out to me at 646-768-3690 or gina.balistreri@yodle.com. Thank you!
We were with Yodle for over 6 months at $200/month and did not receive one valid lead that turned into a contract during this time.
We don't blame Yodle. I believe they honestly tried to get us business, but they just couldn't make it happen.
Great company. Helped me out on my local advertising. Levar is the man. Had a small set back but he helped me with it and gave me follow up call. Will recommend anyone I know who needs this service. Thanks.
Yodle is a great service for a reasonable price. I’ve been with the service for years and I moved up with rankings on google, bing, and yahoo where I’m covered on the 1st page. I still get 30-40 calls a month and my SEO is all taken care of without me having to worry about it!
The gentlemen that initially contacted us was so personable and professional. Unfortunately the positive experience ended there! The projected lead generation was grossly over stated. Infact after nearly three months, we did not receive a single quality lead. The advert phone number they assigned us resulted in mutiple wrong numbers. Yet in Yodle's dashboard it registered as a lead. Their web site they created was done in literally minutes upon our account set up meeting and its quality reflected that. Their support staff was pleasant and professional but I got the feeling even they realize that the lofty promises made by their sales reps are rarely obtainable. I look forward to re-directing our online advert $$ in other directions, far away from Yodle.
When the Yodle salesman called me and asked me how much business I could handle, I rolled my eyes and was ready to say thanks, but no thanks. But I'm so happy that I heard him out and signed up with this wonderful service. After less than 50 days of them promoting my site, I'm back on Google maps, and I'm getting 1-2 requests for bids per day!
I've been working with Samantha to design and improve my site and quite frankly, I couldn't be happier. She really knows what she's doing and has made my Yodle site look really good. Aside from being a pleasure to work with, it been a tremendous collaborative effort that has paid off. Whatever they're paying Samantha, it's not enough!
So in summary, I give the Yodle team a 10! I'm sure glad I didn't hang up on that salesman!
Aggressive salesperson with unrealistic expectations to start with... Regretfully did it... Paid $3,200,,, finally got started up 9/26,,,, on 11/20, got charged another $369... a few weak leads but no loans in process,,, biggest waste of my money... I paid for this out of my personal funds to try to kickstart my branch and basically I'm out $3k + for nothing... More than disappointed & unsatisfied... Small business owners BEWARE

I just completed my initial setup call with a customer care rep at Yodle, and I'm thoroughly impressed! First of all, Beth spent almost two hours walking me through the website and answering all of my questions with care, patience, and a great sense of humor. If all of Yodle's team members are this dedicated and knowledgeable, I'll be a very happy camper. Secondly, the portal offers an array of useful and simple options to promote my business, and much of it is automated. Photos and reviews will automatically be pushed to my business' Facebook page, and I can set up email campaigns well in advance with just a few clicks. I'm looking forward to familiarizing myself with this even more so that I can make the best use of all the features.
I coordinate all of the marketing and public relations for Lexington Plastic Surgeons in New York. When I started working here we were spending money on online marketing tools that just weren’t exposing us to the right audience. We were getting impressions but not any calls or contacts. Now we’re targeting the right people and have seen a major increase in the number of consultations and procedures booked. Yodle has been very effective so far.
Yodle is a must for all small businesses. We were skeptical but gave it a try at the start of tax season (we are a tax business.) With just a little tweaking (with excellent assistance from our rep) we were soon on our way to receiving calls. As the season heated up our leads increased. When we missed a call their tracking system made it easy to recover the client's phone number and recover the opportunity. Then Yodle added some fabulous new features like the ability to request reviews! This was quick and easy -- and GOT RESULTS. Now our adversite has 9 positive reviews -- I'm sure we'll have more next year. We definitely got new clients, and not only paid for the service but made a profit too. YAY Yodle!
Just spent 49 minutes on the phone with Mike E. Who didn't seem to understand that I wasn't interested. After listening to his whole presentation and pricing (which I explained was WAY out of my budget), he still pushed and pushed. I explained that I had patients waiting and he still didn't care about anything other than making his sale. If he'd called back when he originally said he would later in the day, I would have heard his lower numbers. Instead, he talked over me until I hung up on him. They've most definitely lost any chance of doing business with me in the future and I'll be sure to tell everyone I know to avoid this company like the plague.
Answer: I received a few leads that actually worked out. However, it wasn't enough to justify using them in the first place. The leads seemed to come in when I had signed up for their "google ads marketing" addition. So basically, the google ads provided 80%-100% of the leads, not Yodle. I Would've been better off spending my money on Google Ads written myself.
Answer: Yodle only cost me money and quite a bit of frustration! Tony
Answer: I have a spare wet-vac if you have extra cash laying about. Give me a call. It would be a better application of energy use.
Answer: Run Forest Run. They make promises. They will put wrong info on the web. Who spends 600.00 Before a return if you gat that. Run Forest Run
Answer: Dont do it.
Answer: If you get a website made. The search engine go by the 2nd letter in order for your site to be pulled up quickly. You would be better off doing your own social media marketing, joining the BBB and Y and white pages of phone book. Magnetic vehicle signs, etc. Need more free tips email me at rstoutmire@yahoo.com subject line Javier S. Contractor. Hope this help you but don't pay any company any money for any work. Rhonda S.

Dewey – I’m sorry to hear about this. It sounds like there may have been a miscommunication. I’d like to clarify how our marketing program works and help find a solution. When you have a moment, could you contact me at rmoss@yodle.com or 212-542-5449?
Thank you,
