I have been with Comcast/Xfinity for over 3 decades and the service has steadily gone downhill. It is almost impossible to get to a human to resolve problems or questions and the automatic electronic answering systems are totally inadequate. I spent 4 days trying to get them to fix an outage on our block and to ask questions about my equipment and was told by recordings that I had to go online but I couldn't go to internet or phone because I had no service. I was told I couldn't speak with anyone until my service was restored! Catch-22. Then I received a message that service was restored when it hadn't been. FOUR days of this.

I'm paying for 1200 mbps and am currently DL at.5-1.5 with a ceiling of 24...they've ignored requests for improvements and merely suggest restarting the modem... I got better internet coverage from starlink in Africa. Absolute garbage company.

All you get is someone in the Philippines. Loooooooog hold times...forget the interlink you get no one. Thanks comcast for spoiling my day. I pay 271.00 a month as this ois how I get treated.

I have attempted to chat 3 times today and kept getting disconnected. Always horrible customer service. Avoid this company make them your last choice for service. I am 70 years old this is ridiculous both the chat agents listed in photos stop responding. Issue unresolved guess i will try to call again tomorrow.

They are outrageously EXPENSIVE, IMPOSSIBLE to contact with problems, and both internet & cable go out frequently. I was forced to use them for 10 years due to where I lived. The worst service I've ever encountered & I'm 65 years old! The ONLY GOOD THING I Can say about them is if you're EVER ABLE to get through to a live human being they are usually very helpful.

Nothing but a headache for over a year. For months, every week I was talking to at least one person and no one could help me. They all lied to me and told me different things! They owed me money and then never sent the check and changed my balance to zero! And then they had the nerve to say I owe them! I have never hated a company more.

These people are the meaning of what you call filthy crooks, I arranged a payment plan to pay a week later and I called in 3 other times to confirm my services wouldnt be disconnected and surely it was! THEY EVEN PUT ME ON A FAKE HOLD WITH A SUPERVISOR TO ACT LIKE THEY HELPED ME AND THEY LEFT NO NOTES OF THAT WHEN I CALLED BACK TO CONFIRM WHAT THEY WROTE.

Es increible como una compañia en los estados unidos puede estafar de esa manera a los clientes...con practicas engañosas...en mayo llame a la compañia porque queria cerrar mi contrato por ajusts en mi economia y lo altamente caro de sus precios,una representante me hablo y convencio de q podia darme un mejor precio...risiblemete 10 dolares menos...cual fue mi sorpresa q un mes despues cuando llamo nuevamente para cancelar el servicio,la representante me habia enrrollado en un contrato por 24 meses,del cual nunca me hablo y ahora para cerrar mi cuenta,tenia q pagarles 10 dolares por cada mes del contrato sin usar,osea 240 dolares para irme...esta compañia tiene practicas engañosas y me siento estafado al obligarme a pagar por un contrato del q nunca me hablaron...sino quiere ser engañado y estafado como yo,considere antes de enrrolarse con xfinity

When looking for a company choose anyone but Comcast. They performed sloppy, unprofessional work on my house without my authorization and left substantial damage. When trying to reach someone to correct this issue I dealt with about a month of being passed around from employee to employee with no help and then eventually when I got to the person that was supposed to "fix the problem" he very disrespectfully told me that the only request I had was "something they will not do because they do not want to be held liable for the damage that they created" (that is an exact quote). Now I am left with frustration, poor internet connection and holes in my house.

The service itself is good but the billing what a freaking nightmare. I am submitting them to the BBB because they first had us down for 5 lines, we only signed up for 4. Then ended up charging us for 6 lines, again we only had 4. I have caught them charging us twice for the same number got that fixed. Then the keep jerking us around on chat. If you have 4-5 hours to deal with these idiots then fine but I do not. I keep getting the runaround. They were going to charge us $193 for a plan that is only $137. So after I dealt with the idots online whom could only bring it down to $155 I jumped on the phone got lucky to talk to a representative told her I was a lawyer and would look into a class action suit against them for overcharging customers as I see they have been. HEY GUYS WANT TO DO A CLASS ACTION SUIT, we should do it against these theives. Anywho, she got us back down to 4 lines only, got us a $48 taken off the bill as owed $144 because these idiots screwed up in the first place, and made me lose a number I had for 30 years but I have to pay for it which is bullsh!t then charge me for the time I had with my original number and had me pay a $10 activation fee for a new number...what a SCAM! So I did pay that and I talked to her about why I am going to pay for 5 lines when I only had 4 lines...so that got fixed (or so they say, will find out when the next bill comes out). So after all this headache online and on the phone my payment will be $137 a month. Again we shall see what the bill came up to, so we had automatic payments set up but to ensure we get that new amount we had our bank close that VISA number and will get a new card. So I have down when the payment is due and will do a one time payment once I know that we are getting the correct amount. Jesus how much does a person have to go through? We are stuck in the contract for two years because we got the apple phones, if I had the money to pay the phones off I would. We figure we will pay one year then just pay off the phones and bail then head to ATT or another company. What a joke!

PSA: Take your business elsewhere! Xfinity keeps calling (harassing) me after I cancelled services. When I say I'm not coming back they HANG UP ON ME. Horrible service, overpriced and slow internet, terrible customer service.

I have had Comcast for years and over the last week they continue to give me very poor results from technical background. I have been on the phone with them 7 times in past 72 hours and they have not fixed the concern. I'm very disappointed of the outcome of this company as they used to be great in all aspects but times have definitely changed. New equipment and changes made to system are junk!

Xfinity has been screwing me over for the past year. When we first signed up, we just went for the $10 service since that's all we could afford. Then as we were signing up they told us we could get $30 free with the ACA. So we went with that. They continued to charge us $30 each month. I have called over 10 times to get this fixed. They never fixed it no matter who I talked to. When I asked for a refund they refused and only put credits onto my account which they used up as well. Right now I'm down $300 and they still won't fix the problem. I can't get rid of them until I move out of my apartment because that's what the owners have everyone on. The most annoying part is their terrible call center robot. It REFUSES to let you talk to someone and literally takes 30 minutes to an hour before it lets you talk to a real person.

FRAUD

Xfinity is cheating people who receive food stamps from the the government affordable connectivity problem. If I could give them less than one star, I would. I am trying to file a civil suit against them, but they are hiding behind the system, therefore I cannot move forward with my complaint. I would not recommend this company because they are a coward who do not want to fac responsible. I hope this review is seen worldwide.

Xfinity will bring you to tears!
As usual, it took 45 minutes to make my monthly payment. Within 2 hours of the restoration of Internet service, the service disappeared. After 1.5 hours on the phone with agents who were resetting and refreshing the modem, I gave up and asked the agent to REFUND my $45. He gave me a transaction number, and said that the funds would be in my account in 5-7 business days.
The next day, I got an email saying that the equipment was on its way. Then I spent 2 hours and 15 minutes telling agents that I requested a refund. Eventually, a Supervisor admitted that the agent processed a REPLACEMENT instead of a refund. This time, the funds would be in my account in 3-5 business days. She too gave me a transaction number. To my surprise, it actually came!
The modem came and I had to take it to UPS.

Keep searching until you find an alternative.

Slowest WiFi ever!

The wifi is so slow. A few minutes ago when I was texting someone complaining about my wifi, and it says "Not Delivered". I seriously cannot believe this company is still in business. Online they say the this company is the absolute BEST internet service provider, but that is absolutely the biggest lie I've seen in a while. If you're looking for a new ISP, I highly recommended to AVOID this one.
