While my title would put a smile on your face if this was a High School year book, there will be no smiling if you get XFinity for your home or office internet. It goes down on a regular basis. Like it's scheduled to go down. And not like... reboot your modem. Like wait for a technician. ALL THE TIME! They have to be the worst internet service on the planet.
I had to get rid of some channels to make my payment manageable so my bill was 146$ for one month which was good. Now the next month it is up to 160$. I don't know how this company gets away with this. Also, they monopolize the area I live in ******* so I have no other choices. Is this even legal? I only gave them 1-star because I had to.
Don't trust them. They lie and will make your life miserable. After 10 yrs of been a customer I was treated very bad. I regret using them and will never recommend them for any reason. If you chose to go with them, you better be checking your account for how much they are taking out and know they will interrupt your line for no good reason. Giving them 1 star is over rating. Very very bad company.
Terrible service, and the reason our bills are so crazy high is when you call in they say they are giving it free to anyone who gets food stamps and medicaid. So now we have to now pay for not only our own service but other people's internet and tv service (they get it free). I said nothing is free, you are just putting the charge on your paying customers to make your free system work for you. I was then told these people cannot afford tv and internet and struggle with paying these bills. Well I cannot afford a lot of things so I do not get them. This country is taking from the richer and giving to the Poor. I am in the process of moving house. Comcast said they were unable to install the device and we had to get someone else out who said Comcast were basically too lazy to do the job. We had to get them to come out again. After arranging for my son to be at the house, they didn't even show for the appointment. Trying to reschedule a new appointment has been a total nightmare. I cannot stress enough how much I hate dealing with Comcast, I would give anything to deal with someone other than them. They have no idea what Customer Service is and I will be only too glad to be rid of them when possible.
I scheduled an appointment. The techs never arrived! I called the cs number while I was on the phone with them he told me that they where coming I went outside and they never arrived.
I absolutely hate xfinity! They suck and they're too expensive. They take advantage of senior citizens! And also how do you have a fee for Netflix when we already have our own account for Netflix!? It's so stupid! They're all about money!
My wi-fi will go out for just a minute come back and ten minutes later same thing for hours daily! I am contacted (with difficulty) Xfinity for them to tell me that everything is running great and if they send some one out and it is issue on my side there will be a charge! I call and for few days it's great then starts again! I pay way way too much for this crap. It is increasing worst and actually is starting to feel intentional since always same time if day and then after I call it stops for few days. Definitely looking for new service!
Called 3 to 4 times while setting up my new house for internet to confirm if there was a line was told yes that everything was all set and no tech was needed, the day I moved in I found out they dropped a line but didn't put a connection in the house. Terrible company wish I didn't need them and could use spectrum.
I currently have Xfinity as my service provider. The reps@ the Harlem & cermak location are unprofessional & complete liars. I've called the service line for said company & I can never get through to a rep as it is deliberately designed to discourage clients from speaking to live rep. This company has all kinds of hidden fees & functions in complete disarray. I dispose this company & as soon as I find a better service provider in my area I have every intention on taking my business else where
The old comcast was far better than xfinity! The new system is Horrible, you can't connect with a live agent and the stupid automated system isn't set up to route you to a live person. I DON'T recommend xfinity for anything. There are several other high speed wifi services available that are much better.
I called Xfinity to change my plan two days ago, after finding a better plan on their website for $60. I was assured around 10 times that the price would be $60. Even when I got the email to sign a contract that said $65, I asked if it was going to be $60 and was told yes, that it would go down after my new banking information and autopay setup went through. Today, I see $65 on my bill, so I call again, and I'm told over and over that it's $65, it was never $60, and if I try to escalate the issue, I'll be told the same thing, just by someone else. Even though I'm sure they record their calls, suddenly the price I saw on the website two days ago and the quote I got from a different representative just disappeared, as if they never existed. Xfinity is a horrible company, and it's a shame the monopoly they hold.
So disappointing, went in on 10-7-2022. Received the worst service ever. Just to purchase a charger, spoke to a large heavy set white man with a bald head, named Carl, he was so rude, told me to take my business elsewhere. My 15 year old daughter was with me and shocked with the way we were spoken to. Carl needs some customer service training. Went elsewhere to buy my charger. May be taking my business completely somewhere else.
So, on June 28, Xfinity.com scammed me with $758.86, that was paid by my PayPal card as $682.10 one payment (Transaction ID
3GG*******B*******) and $76.76 another payment (Transaction ID
2AP*******NP*******). (you can check it on my PayPal transactions), I paid it because they forced me to do it or send it to collecters. I filed a PayPal case after that and they add the amount back to my account on xfinity.com even the case wasn't resolved yet!
The amount they added back is $682.10 which I opened a PayPal case for + $34.24 a balance they added from nowhere too = $716.34 the amount they charged me (Transaction ID 30U*******G*******).
As you see in the picture $682.10 shows once but charged me twice on PayPal. They added it back because I opened a case on PayPal resolution center
Now I canceled my PayPal card in hope to stop that scam. Please help me out to get a refund.

They keep asking me for a service that I disconnected since April. The phone has been received in their warehouse since April. I am trying to communicate. No one can end this farce. I will go to court.
We were two weeks late for cable bill- Comcast shut off our cable. I get up 4 am for work and I need the internet. 5 times I called to make payment, but every time I input my credit card, the system crashed. No live people until 8 am. I leave for work now- and I don't time to deal with this.
I've needed Comcast for cable, and they have sucked for decades!

Don't expect honesty from this company. They will tell you ANYTHING to get a sale. For example, my Iphone 15 preorder, promised by September 22nd, on the website, order confirmation and account status menu. Is now delayed until *maybe* mid-October. They cannot even give me an expected estimated time. No respect for their customers; Laughable dishonest deceitful support.
I realize that this forum is usually to rip Xfinity/Comcast a new one, but I just had customer service above and beyond. Mark, don't know his last name, helped with an issue that hasn't been resolved since Hurricane Ian turned us upside down. He couldn't have been more understanding or compassionate, and I wish there was a way to give him... and yes, Xfinity, for hiring such a quality individual.

Never can get anyone on the phone- they make you do everything in the app such as canceling an account and still get billed months later. Piss poor company- would rather go back to stone ages than use their services again
