Looked for a hard to find movie. Found a link to ReelVidz that made me believe that they had the movie. So I decided to give it a go. After signing up, giving over my credit card number, I did a search for the movie and it turns out that they do not have the movie. So I immediately cancelled my membership. I also used a credit card that I have never used for anything else, and do not intend to ever use, so if a charge appears on this card from ANYWHERE, I will know where it originated!

I came across this website when searching for a movie. As it's a totally strange and never heard of website, I looked for reviews before signing up. I then read lots of reviews here and know what it is. But in order to test it, I signed up with a newly registered email address, provided a credit card number that has expired with a fake name and wrong expiration date, then processed all the way to the email verification. Then when I clicked on the verification link, it brings up a new browser window and shows the 'paywall' with lots of scam ads, and you are forced to complete one of the 'offers' to continue to the next step. When I clicked on one of the scam 'offers', it opens up another browser window and then next, then next, never ends. There is no end point of this scam, and it just gets you to jump through the hoops but never will get to see the movie you want.

This website is set up to steal your money or to get some scam into your computer or browser, don't ever trust it.

I never signed up for this site, not five days ago, not never.

I called about a $39.95 charge on my credit card. Advised I'd never signed up and got them to delete future charges and (they say) restoration of my money to my account in up to 5 days.

Feeling violated by this rip off.

I was looking for a site that I could watch a movie on my computer. Came across Reelvidz. Once I decided to create an account, then it asked for my credit card information, stating it would Never be charged anything as long as I cancelled after the 5 day free trial period. Usually, I wouldn't have gone any further, but I thought well five days. So I signed up and gave my card number.
Then after I thought about it for a very few minutes, I saw the email for support, and sent an email telling them to cancel that I did not want the free trial period, as I was worried I would end up being charged. That was on Sunday, and surprisingly I got an email back right away. Said my membership was cancelled, and I would not be charged anything, and no longer a member so no further emails would be accepted.
Today my bank was charged $1.35 on my visa. Now this is not a large sum. But why was it charged? I never used the service at all. Downloaded NOTHING. I have now blocked them from my card, in case they try anything else.\
This is a dishonest company. If they would charge $1.35 for NOTHING, they may charge a lot more. So block your card number if you entered it for a
"FREE trial membership". I hate places that lie.

I got redirected to Reelvidz from solarmovies.ph and it prompted me to create a free account in order to view the movie so I did. It then prompted me to enter my credit/debit card details but assured me that no charges will be made. Big, careless mistake on my part to do so for they changed my supposedly "free" account to a premium one without my knowledge and charged me USD 34.95/month for that. I only realized that something was amiss after the third month. I have since cancelled my account with them. I would rate them 0 starts if I could. STAY AWAY.

As far as www.ReelVids.com, or any other site for that matter: If a website EVER asks for your credit card information just to join a "Free" site, Please do some research before divulging your personal details. There are many sites out there that look legitimate, some may even accept Paypal; unfortunately these sites(from movies to online shopping) are just out to scam you. There is no reason for anyone to ever get scammed for one simple reason: Never give out your info without first doing a quick scam search, at the very least. I still can't wrap my head around some of these comments that say "ReelVids" keeps taking money out of my account, how do I stop them?" Seriously? Shut your card off, get a new card and/or account! Why would you keep allowing(Yes, allowing) them to take your money? These people don't care about you or anyone else. Jail and punishment do not deter them. Many of the sites operate outside of the U.S. and are extremely hard to prosecute, if not impossible. For these reasons and many others, do yourself a favor and think before you give out your "Last Dollar."
