I have enjoyed the Journal for more than 15 years. However, I have noticed a tremendous drop of quality content in the last decade. I understand the social era has destroyed any possibility for publications such as this to thrive by sales, yet you should focus on quality rather than quantity... Also, I don't like the fact that too much time the website has been invaded by ads and basically unbrowsable because of subscription limits... this is not the original intent of wall street journal... to spread knowledge and good content. Please find a way back to the old paper!
We were charged over $200 unknowingly and unable to login and customer service seemed apathetic and hell bent on refusing any sort of assistance. We reviewed subscriptions in all app stores and did not see an active account, no emails that a subscription was active. Even when logged in through the app I hit the pay wall that led me to assume we didn't have a subscription active.
I'm going to help y'all out. If you want to cancel online change your address in the customer center to a California address, residents in CA ca cancel online, if you want a refund (prorated) tell the customer services rep you want to downgrade to online only or if you only have online say you want to upgrade to print+digital they will then cancel the current subscription and refund the remaining balance when they start to set up a new subscription tell them you changed your mind, now you got a refund, if you want a cheaper rate simply call in and say you want to cancel, they will then transfer you to the subscription management team where they will offer you lower prices and if you keep declining offers eventually you will get a cheap rate, if you want to cancel and they tell you, you have to wait 180 days you can call back 30 days later and get the promo price again... I really like WallStreet Journal for their approach! They create amazing posts about big companies, as well as common people like I am about. They share useful ideas and money-saving tips for everyday life. Like them 5/5 for sure!

I have read and enjoyed the Wall Street for many years. In my opinion, it is the finest news paper available. The stories are are always timely and well researched. The publish opposing viewpoints daily to give readers the opportunity to better understand complicated issues.

I like to keep up with current events, new technology, what my stocks are doing and this is the only paper I'll read. We call all the other papers mullet wrappers. The other papers like the New York Times are too slanted politically for our tastes. Their is nothing like honest journalism. People NEED to see both sides of the issues. I like to hold, feel and cutout (good articles) and the online addition just doesn't cut it for me. I often will find an article that's relevant for my kids, they don't have the time to read the Wall Street Journal cover to cover) so I send them articles they can use in their daily lives. Best paper in the market!
I subscribed their service while they have the $12 for 12 weeks deal, but i never received the physical newspaper and the online account only worked for 1 week. Then when they try to renew and charge my for a whole year, i raised this issue. The solution is they can't make up the whole previous year but they extend my subscription for another 6 months, this is acceptable.
But my key point is, they didn't avoid to communicate, they are proactive and quickly responding, and they provide solutions for you to choose. So I really recommend them if you do need to subscribe business related newspapers.
They customer service deserves a applause with they proactivity and quick action.
