I decided to try Worldwinner for just 5.00 and I believe they matched it so I had around 10.00 invested.
I liked the games like Word Mojo BUT here are words that were rejected due to their word games not using The Oxford English Dict. And Miriam Webster Dictionary as ref.!
Dodo
Mala
Ronde

And this is just a few!
Also, the return on investment is awful. They want you to pay. 80 for an entry fee and if you win you have made a whopping. 30?
I clear around 25.00 per day at royalgames.com also known as King Games. They have 5 times the amount of game selection, better graphics and better tourney fee structures.
I do not work for King games or have any affiliation with them professionally or financially (other than that I win alot there)(if you practice and aim to excel you will win there)
Something is VERY off with the Tournament matching at worldwinner and I find there methods HIGHLY suspicious.
For those of you who want to have legitimate Skill Gaming for Money, I suggest royalgames.com and SKILL mobile gaming.
I hope this post will help others.
STAY AWAY FROM WORLDWINNER/GSM GAMES!
I was a member of worldwinner for a short time. Why? Because I made a deposit and quickly loose almost everything. I was left with 1.25$ and I asked myself how is it possible to the other players to get about 600'000 points in Bejeweled Blitz? And I know the answer - many players are using auto-plays and bots. So I wrote my own auto-player and I was getting very best results. When I won couple of big games for big money getting 700'000 points (the 2nd place was about 650'000 so I didn't make a huge difference) my account was blocked. Why? Because they said that I was using unfair methods of playing. Great! But when other players are using it it is good?
I don't understand them, because they are making money whenever the 1st or 2nd player wins. The total sum of bets are higher that the winnings, so they are making their money on every game. If every player will be using automat there will be a chalenge who write a better bot - this one will get the most of prizes. The could even make two kinds of challenges - one normal and one automatic. In the first case the human will play with each others, in the second only bots will play. It would be very good and fair for everyone!
Overall I don't recommend worldwinners - you can't make money there, even if you have the best bot.
People give money to these people? REALLY?
I've been playing on the website for a few years and what I've seen there convinced me to never give them money. I've accumulated about 38 million tokens, but they have zero value, so I tend to ignore the number. Oodles are nearly as worthless because I know they'll never allow me to win a drawing.
The first thing I noticed that seemed off to me was the fact that people playing for free are used to compete against those playing for cash. My scores are higher when I'm playing against paid players.
While playing one game, called Dynomite, I was (still am) puzzled how the games were scored. You can play a game well, yet your score is lower than when you play poorly. I kept track of my stats (on paper, rather than rely on memory) and there seemed to be no way to know what you score would be. It's as if they have a "mystery multiplier" that makes moves worth more or less. When I contacted the company to ask how scores are calculated, I was referred to the "rules" on the website. I explained in more detail what the results of my stats collection was, several times in my back and forth with them, and I eventually received an "I don't know." I asked to be referred to someone else who WOULD know and never heard from them again. At one point in the back and forth, I got a snide remark about my use of an ad blocker. There are nice ways to ask someone to not use ad blockers on their site, but they're, apparently, not known to these folks.
Generally, when someone is very good at a game, they'll score similarly well on all games they play. Not so on this site. Your score isn't dependent on how well you play and that makes me extremely suspicious of the website as a whole. And that's why I won't give them any money, and won't until I'm given reasonable explanations about how scoring is done. I'm also not convinced that players competing against one another are even playing the same game. So one person is playing a very easy board, while others are given a complicated one, according to who they've decided the winner will be.
Yeah, don't give these people any money AT ALL.
I have deposited $550 with them over the last 18 months or so... just playing for entertainment after work. Though many times games were interrupted and ended early, I never bothered e-mailing support. I just let it be.
I realized long ago that your skills don't matter. For example if you play Dynamo (or something like that) you can literally see how the ball you shoot just changes direction to miss where you aimed. Sometimes it is so bad, it's as if someone else was aiming for you (and missing). No, there is no skill involved, you just get to win when their bot thinks its your turn and lose most of the time. Many high scores cannot possible have been achieved by a human player.
But worst thing is... a few days ago I tried to make a $10 PayPal deposit and was told there was an issue and the deposit could not be made. I tried 2 more times with the same response. I checked my PayPal account and there was no problem, the money was taken out 3 times, but not deposited at world winner. I was upset, I like to play in the evening and my deposits were held leaving me no way to play. I e-mailed support, the first time in 2 years, and was told they are busy and will get back with me usually in about 2 days! I was really ticked off about that and went to PayPal and put claims on all 3 Payments so they would see the amount WAS indeed paid.
The next day I found my game account had been closed due to fraud! And to top it off they responded at PayPal that they credited the $30 to my game account and I need to close the disputes... while I couldn't even SEE my game account because it was CLOSED!
Anyways, thanks to PayPal they had no option but to refund and I will play elsewhere.
I do still have my second account with them but I would never deposit money again.
I was so upset when they took diner dash off big money is ok but spades and diner dash kept my attention and I miss the way the challenge use to be
I just played on this site recently about 5 days ago. I found out about the site through ads, and was enticed to see that my favorite game- Dynomite- was there; I was already playing it literally on my desktop for years. Given that I already knew the strategy, I still had a couple of numbers of wins and losses, but majority is a loss. Most of the players where I am being matched up seems to know what I know too, which made me feel dubious on how their "automated" system works. By the time I already reached that threshold where I can already play tourneys like "Twenty-Fiver" with big prizes, I pushed my luck despite my balance (though I am very willing to deposit back). Luckily enough (pun intended, as the game actually rely on luck somehow, too) I earned high scores. I checked in the next day, enraptured because I already got big winnings. I tried saving some in order for me to play more on other games and withdrawn some, but only a matter of hours have passed I already got an e-mail about my account being "refunded". I asked their team and said I have to e-mail "fraud". At this point I already turned red and politely asked them through the e-mail address of their "fraud" department about what is going on but all I got is a TEMPLATE saying several things that I am certainly sure that I never did and that all of my winnings are already forfeited.
In short- they don't want new, good players to come in to their site. They would think that your abilities constitute you deceiving them.
If you would ask me, as I write now, I will be taking this to the next level- to the court. I no longer care about money- all I want is for other people to avoid this pitfall trap.
I've been playing on Worldwinner since 2008 and I have learned that just a few simple steps can prevent or help solve nearly all of the issues people are upset about in these reviews. First, restart your device before you play so to avoid frozen screens. When you first log in to play take a screenshot of your screen - one that shows how much money you are starting with for that session. When you choose a game take a screenshot of it initializing or anytime before you hit 'play,' With these easy steps in place you have proof of what you played and that helps when you have problems with a game. Remember that when you ask for support you are talking to real people. Be polite, be respectful and provide all the information they ask for. You need these people to help get things sorted. You can be rude and they will give you the minimum help they are required. Or you can be polite and they will nearly always go out of their way to get things solved for you.
As far as gaming skills and losing or winning, the site will not let you play above your skill level. You can practice for free with every game they offer. You will always be matched with someone at your level, so when you lose its bad luck, not the site being shady. To get a feel for the different levels, try challenging someone. Then you can pick the game and skill level of your choice, easy, medium, or hard. You play for free in challenges so take advantage of that option and improve your game. When first starting to bet money keep to the one on one games until you get a feel for things.
I have never lost a single cent on the site when it involves technical issues. And the money I bet and lose is not their problem. The games are a challenge at every level and there are no guarantees that you will win each time. You never have to spend a penny if you don't want to - you can play the practice games on Worldwinner without making a deposit. Hope this helps.
When I pay to play I always lose my deposit quickly... when I play for free I aways win... a scam to say the least
WITHDRAWAL request made on 06/24/*******@12:12 in the amount of $25.37 never rec'd back into my account and the hide behind there website.
IT DOES NOT MATTER WHAT YOU SCORE THE SAME PEOPLE SCORE MORE. BASHFULSUSAN072.PGO AND THE LIST GOES ON AND ON. THEY DON'T EVEN CARE OR TRY TO HIDE IT. VERY VERY TACKY.
I caught them rigging the games!
There was a whole week or so that they were working on the site to give selective (their friends) free timing, meaning the clock stopped and you could play all the best and end it when you want but the other opponant's time ran out! And, your score, no matter how many times you played "Solitare", it was always stuck at like 1650 < something like that. This happened to me many times and I felt guilty but what could I do? Right now, the "Piramid Solitare" is taking many cards (like 12) and ditching them and giving you credit for clearing them manually and you didn't. < This is cheating!
Then, in the middle of a game, there is error messages and it ends on you as if you "lost"! I have the best computer and service, updates and NO viruses. There is no reason for the "error" messages, they plant them!
I am VERY RELUCTANT to play for money anymore!
Let me tell you all who read this, years ago I took in a Chinese math wiz, she became an accountant eventually, but she was homeless (we never charged her nor asked anything from her), she spent over a year in our home in her room doing resumes, working math problems, eating and sleeping (rarely came out). She got a strange SOPHISTICATED letter in the mail, saying basically "Hi Jeping, we would like to add you to our group of successful PRIVLEDGED people. Please respond to this letter by... and you will gain access to a private perfect world that only we live, meaning, wherever you go, you will have the best, you will know who to talk to to get what you want without costing, we are the elite. Please keep this secret and we will make you a winner at everything, you will always get what you want in this world."
She asked me to fill it out for her because she could not read or speak good english enough yet. Columbus, Ohio hired her as an accountant for our government! (she could have been a spy! Catholic Services sent her to us because we offered to help someone in NEED, her cousin is a priest and visited once a week.)
My husband is a retired Police Chief, he said "It's not what you know, it is who you know!" < that's why there are crooks and thieves in office! This world is loaded with scam artists, the smooth and clever talkers, and tricksters!
After years of gaming and suspecting that many of the "top players" who aren't accessible to private message are simply "bots", the last straw was today, when I was AGAIN matched with someone not even in my class range. Very annoying, basically stealing my money... really, how do you treat such a long-time customer who lines your pocket w/ so much money so poorly? You'd think that they'd have some business smarts and know how to keep regulars coming back... customer service is always timely, but sorry, a partial refund on an unfair tournament entry isn't sufficient for me. I guess I should just take the best advice I've ever been given, "House always wins" and walk away. Disappointed.
Follow-up! Ha, what a joke this response was! "Hello janettetarn,
Your account has been closed per your request.
Sorry to hear that you've requested to leave the WorldWinner community!
Thank you!

Subject: refund and cancel my account
Details: My first game of the day and this nonsense again. I've never scored close to 100k in the hard category of Big Money, yet i'm in a $5.00 game w/ a first place winner (so far) of 115k. I would like a refund of the entry fee (again, $5.00) and I would like my account closed. I'm tired of having to contact player services, getting automated responses, and partial entry fee refunds to expensive games. I spend(t) a lot of $$ on this site, only to be beat by bots... I'll take my $$ elsewhere, and will not leave positive reviews for WW.
A truly unsatisfied customer,
Janette E. *********
(***-***-**** should you like to directly address my concerns
When I don't pay to play, I win most of the time, however when I pay, I lose my money all the time and never win...
I've been a Member at Worldwinner for about 4 years so I am not a newbie. The games seem unfair in various ways: in Scrabble Cubes, for example, there is NO way to know in advance against whom you are or will be playing - the computer picks and how do you know it doesn't pick someone with a higher score just to ensure you lose? There is NO! Way to verify in Trivial Pursuits that players against whom you are competing get the same questions you do. In Scrabble Cubes, there is NO! Way to be sure competitors get the same letter cubes as you do and thus, the same opportunities for scoring exist for both. Additionally, in Scrabble Cubes, I regularly see about five (5) usernames who each score in excess of 1,000 points (and often near 1,100 points) on one four-minute cube. This would be equivalent to playing a perfect game and getting a perfect score repeatedly which seems highly unlikely in the scheme of probabilities - some errors would be human, no? Not all cubes would be 1,100 cubes, no? The same people cannot get perfect cubes and play perfect games so often, it defies logic.
Why can't World Winner just be fair and transparent for the money they charge players. Suggestions would be to show players against whom they are or will be playing BEFORE the games starts. Ensure questions in Trivial Pursuits and cubes in Scrabble Cubes are the same for ALL players involved in the match to ensure equal opportunity for scoring. Weed out the obviously rigged or unreal players like "kernel_hotlook" and "wranderson" who are either bots, or cheaters, as they incredibly score 1,000+ at least twice a week and more usually 3-4 times per week for the wins.
UPDATE February 2023: So today they NEW AND IMPROVED the Scrabble Cubes interface. Now, you cannot even click the letters without it choosing the wrong one 12x and eating up your clock time. I have reported it several times to support - the Community Forum is full of much the same discussion about how the new interface does not work well. Nothing is done.
Don't waste your time on this site. They will never pay you out when you win big and accuse you of something. They cannot even provide a proof of their accusation when you demand it. My friends have also ended up like this and they have their own experiences. Read the entire outline why you should run away from this site. AGAIN, STOP PLAYING NOW AND RUN AWAY.
THEY WILL NOT GIVE YOU YOUR MONEY THAT YOU WON IF...
1. You play good and you win consistently.
2. You try to lose "less" by re-entering the tournament for a better score. Of course, re-enter for a better score even only having two player slots because you know your score will lose after all because after winning a lot you have already been being matched on good players according to their so-called "FairMatching System" [with emphasis on the word FAIR]. In that case, would you rather lose $3 or $10 on the line?
3. You did not violate #1 and #2 but they will still hold your money and try to find a loophole on how to stop its release such as asking personal information and still end up telling you that it is "inaccurate" because "they felt like it".
4. Their "fool-proof" (oh no, more like algorithmic, conservative and inconsiderate) system that tries to detect that you are cheating says you are cheating even though you do not. (In all cases of my friends who have been here, it is mere impossible that even a human tries to check everything going on it. If only a real human could perhaps inspect, there would be no case. It was as if their "anti-cheat" system only has one language in order for you to be considered as not cheating- you constantly feed it money and don't even dare play better or try to improve your game because if you win big, it means for it that you are cheating.
DISGUTING, UNPROFESSIONAL, UNETHICAL.
Whoever is with me, give another review pointing to a link where I can join a massive class action lawsuit against this shark who continues to fool people. This has to end to stop ensnaring new people from giving them money!
Answer: If you start a game and leave your computer or phone you might score a mere 60 points. Your opponent may beat your 75 to 60. Play the whole game and you get 5000 points you will still lose 5030 to your 5000. THAT proved to me that it uses a computer to pick winners and losers to keep everyone winning 50% and losing 50%
