WooPayments, part of WooCommerce, is holding over $12,000 of my business funds with no clear explanation or timeline for release. Despite advertising daily payouts, they've cited vague "internal protocols" to justify the hold. Customer support has been dismissive, stating, "We will decide when to release the money," without disclosing any process or reason. This lack of transparency and accountability has severely impacted my business. If you rely on timely payouts, avoid WooPayments. Switching to PayPal or Square is a better choice.

It's not a simple as other ecommerce solutions, but it works well enough, and best of all it is highly customizable.

I used Woo commerce for the first time on or about October 7th, 2022. I had a deposit of $275.00 through their payment platform. I was informed via email that my account triggered a delay. I have a well-established business and have used several platforms over the years. Woo commerce to date has not deposited the $275.00 and they have not refunded my $275.00. They have no support system and they are not reputable. DO NOT USE THEM!

Ordered items on 8/22/2022 from WooCommerce. Confirmation from diza <*******@ip2cloak.com> for the total and shipping information. Payment was Paypal and I also received confirmation from QUENTRO GROUP LLC that shows as unverified from my Paypal account. On 8/24/2022, I sent an email to QUENTRO GROUP LLC asking for a tracking number, it bounced back to me. I sent another with the same results. I also called the listed phone number with Paypal but it went to voicemail and sounded like an individual instead of a business. That call went unreturned. On 8/25/2022, a Paypal dispute was filed, citing undelivered goods, zero communication as well as a probable scam. They actually replied to Paypal with a fake UPS tracking number. After several updated delivery times, the order was delivered to someone else on 8/30/2022. I called UPS and confirmed this order was never in my name or address. Paypal also called UPS for confirmation and awarded me a refund.

WooCommerce is a free plugin used for Wordpress to make your Wordpress website eCommerce ready. Yes, I said it's free. However, you can buy extensions that WooCommerce offers to add customization and extend features. The extensions are overpriced in my opinion. Just to note, the extensions are an annual subscription. You can find third-party plugins to extend the functionality of WooCommerce for free on Wordpress.org or even cheaper than what WooCommerce has to offer.

WooCommerce is easy to use and setup. It takes about 5 minutes to configure everything in WooCommerce settings. You will still need to configure third-party software like Stripe, Apple Pay and PayPal to connect their APIs to your WooCommerce store. You can also use Afterpay and Klarna with your WooCommerce store.
