So, phone numbers, emails, these will all obviously be innacurate. Thats my experience. I did recently use this service to find a friend's address though. And it was correct! On the 1.99 trial! Friend had just moved there a few months back, so fairly recent information! My advice would be use this for addresses. Would suggest cross referencing with Zillow if needed.
When you are looking someone up through Whitepages.com, you have to click on all of the phone numbers to make sure that it is the right number for the person you are trying to look up, you get one deduction from your lookup count for every number you click, which can be a lot of bad numbers for one person. You also get a deduction for each person you click on after looking up an address, which you get a deduction for each address you look up as well. You go through your lookups fast.

I was going to have a job interview. It was at a person's house. I just wanted to check out the person to be safe. I went to WhitePages to get a background report. They looked up the person and I paid $12 and something. I never received the report. I created a help ticket. I got the run around. The report was there supposedly. Finally, I got an email several days later saying your report is ready. So, I logged in and clicked on the report. It took me to another pay part and wanted a membership fee. I was desperate for the report and had already spent over $12, so I agreed to pay another $5.99 membership fee. Again, the report showed nothing and wanted even more money. Now, they wanted $19.99 to look at the criminal records! I called customer service. They said because I looked at the report? (with nothing on it) that they would have to charge me a $3 and something fee and then they would refund me $8 and something. REALLY! They also gave me instruction on how to cancel my membership BUT what they show on the screen is no where to be found on the account page I have. What a nightmare! Never doing business with them again.
I had unlimited searches under Whitepages/premium for around $9.95 a month going back 7 years. Then I lost my email account and needed to update the email. The account went unpaid due to an expired credit card and the messages were going to the defunct email. So when they shut me off completely and I tried to get it straightened out they would not reinstate my old plan and said I had to go with the new plan. I got a deal on a different people search software that gives a lot more information.

I got charged to use this site but they got me no answers to where someone is now located. There is no customer service phone number to call this company at all, unlike Spokeo.com. Spokeo has a customer service phone number that you can access 24/7. I even got my money back from Spokeo.com because I could not get any info I needed, but I got a refund from Spokeo.com, which makes them an ethical company. Whitepages.com are absolute scumbags that will take your money and probably will keep charging me on a monthly basis, of which I will have to go to my bank to do a chargeback against them. But Spokeo is much more honest as far as that goes. I advise everyone not to waste any money by giving this company your debit or charge card. I am sorry I did!
Tip for consumers:
Whitepages.com is a total Scumbag company!
Looking for a childhood friend, I found him, his wife and son on WhitePages. Call the 4 phone numbers I received from WhitePages as their "current" numbers. Not one of them worked. I paid S19.99 for two of those searches and 4.99 for one and $1.10 for another and for what? Zilch. Will be reporting them to the FTC as an Internet scam.
Tip for consumers:
Go elsewhere. Please save your money.

This company is a scam! Once they hook you, they will NOT cancel your subscription and provide a BOGUS gonna number to cancel or call for customer service (800)916)-7806. I signed up for the 5 day trial then requested immediate cancellation the same day. My trial period ends 11/7/2023. When I tried to cancel online I received notice that I would be billed again on 11/8/2023 and cancelled on 11/8/2023….after my trial period! DO SIGN UP! This company will be reported to BBB. After I wrote this review these ppl had the audacity to ask me to upload a pic of my proof of purchase "to boost my review's visibility."
The information seems reliable and accurate and I paid a year subscription, but the cancelation process is nearly impossible. Sleazy website - once I got an error message, another time a pop-up came in to divert me from canceling. All intentionally done to keep me from canceling.
My friends family has been stalked and harassed for false information on this site name Doris Thompson she is not related to anyone who knows Cindy Brown someone please correct this issue before someone gets hurt

I was looking at the white pages yesterday and found myself with both old and current addresses the current address I request it to be removed a few years ago and it was the I looked myself up today and saw both my address and full name and I called the white pages premium number or what ever it was the guy was so nice and I told him. I wanted my address removed for personal reasons and he removed all my addresses and info I saved the number just in case I need to call them in the future I am so pleased at what he did he was such a sweetheart
It it stated for the one time price you can get access to everything property owning who's got his associates criminal the whole thing and yeah when you pay them the $10 they don't give you anything but his address which they give you prior to that. So unless you join them for regular monthly payments, you won't receive any pertinent information! So don't waste your money. Very dissatisfied should have checked this out prior to painting them. My bad

Two days later, fearing that without telling me they would renew every month, I went to their site to cancel. No matter what I entered, they said I was unable to cancel and had to go to another one of their websites. Though I wrote on this second website that I want to cancel, there was no confirmation or indication that they would not renew automatically. Avoid this dishonest, predatory company. They are scum.
Tip for consumers:
Avoid.
I never would have used the searches the way I had if it had been presented that it was only good for 20 searches. I was looking for people for a class reunion and at first was verifying what I already found elsewhere. Ran out of 20 searches in the first day (of course) and was offered another 80 for another $22. What a scam! WHITEPAGES: Be clear what you are selling and people won't feel ripped off! Everything I found was available free through other sites.
Tip for consumers:
You'll probably find the info elsewhere for free through google and various people search sites. Or get a Truthfinder subscription for $20-29 and have unlimited searches during the period. Twenty searches is a joke.
Whitepages.com used to be a site I could access to find a landline phone number that is public. NO LONGER! They have gotten greedy and want $19.95 minimum for public information! Just a phone number! Well, there are other ways- a little harder, but I won't be taken in by their greed.
They give old information. Says it's new but it in my case was 30 years old. They do not give you anything they offer at all. If I was to bump into the owner of white pages I would whip there $#*! and break there pockets on site for being this fraudulent.
I've had my cell phone number for at least a decade. White Pages lists this number to a man who is selling real estate. So I get phone calls at all hours from people wanting to buy his listings. White Pages claims their info is correct & refuses to make needed changes. White Pages also has me listed as having lived in cities I've never lived in or even visited.
Because of this I don't trust any info listed on White Pages.
Tip for consumers:
Don't trust the info shown.

The 'results' from White Pages are often misleading and fake. Irrellivant results, invalid phone numbers, invalid personal connections to other people, etc. This is not a trustworthy site.
They compile and publish sensitive personal information without permission, thereby endangering innocent people. They should be sued. They have put me and my family in immediate danger multiple times and are aware of what they're doing. They graciously provide what they refer to as an 'opt out' then turn right around and recompile and republish everything again. They are unscrupulous and they need to be stopped before they cause the death of unaware innocent people.
I used whitepages.com one time last june, and it gave me erroneous information. I was trying to track down the parents of someone who had rented from me and then trashed my little place. The info on the parent was wrong. But to add insult to injury they continued to bill me monthly for a "premium" service that wasnt "premium" at all. I'd stay away from them if you can.
Tip for consumers:
Don't use them. Find another site.
Expect multiple charges of $5, $10, or $20. I signed up for $20, and the background check that should have come with that was charged separately. I got a message saying my additional background check already paid for would expire, so I used the credit and was charged $4.99 im disputing the charges. Stay away from this group.
Tip for consumers:
Don't use this site is the best advice I can give.

This service scammed my 89-year-old mother by having her sign up for a premium account with a recurring charge. While she legitimately was trying to find a long-lost relative, she was not only charged for the premium and recurring charge, but also charged for the names that appeared along with the relative's name that came up in the search. I will be contacting the authorities for this as it was senior citizen abuse. Their customer service is highly suspicious as well.
It was very easy to find my ex-wife's address now I send her creepy messages and dead animals. She has no idea it's me LOL

I wish you can rate this 0 stars. I'd do anything to get this site shut down. It DOES NOT show their current phone number now I can't get in touch with an ex friend. I should've read the reviews first and they charge your account again. I'll never lose my money for this site AGAIN!
I paid for the premium, only to find the phone #'s and addresses highlighted as 'new' are old, inaccurate information. When I first started using whitepages, it was helpful and for the most part, accurate. Not any more. And if you don't buy premium, everything is grayed out... it won't give you any information, like it did in the past. I search the same person frequently, because of an arrest warrant, an we have to keep on top of where she moves; which is every 6 months or so. It no longer helps us out.
