Impossible de savoir quand ils auront et s'ils dénicheront la pièce de rechange pour le contrôle qui a cessé de fonctionner car ils en ont plus. Le service est médiocre, on me dit même que s'ils réussissent à avoir la pièce, ils ne savent pas quand ils l'enverront, que dès que mon un an de garantie passera ils ne changeront pas mon congélateur, je devrai attendre... Nous avons perdu plus de 1000$ de nourriture et c'est notre problème. Offre 35% de rabais pour en racheter un nouvel appareil au lieu de me le changer directement tout de suite! Je ne dépenserai aucun sous supplémentaire. M'invite à leur envoyer une mise en demeure, ce que je ferai assurément! N'ACHETEZ SURTOUT PAS MAYTAG, WHIRLPOOL ET TOUT CE QUI VIENT DE CETTE COMPAGNIE!

I bought a stove after 5 months my plate where I cook made a burning
Spot. After a few calls a technician was suppose to come and fix it.
He never call never came. I call back whirlpool after a few calls again
A supervisor told me that Breault & Martineau store will soon deliver
A new one. After a month no call nothing. I call Breault & Martineau
Agaiin they never had a call from whirlpool. I don't no what to do

The compressor broke in my fridge last week. I purchased the fridge 2 months ago and i been with out a fridge now for over a week. I will not know if it can be repaired for another week. The service guy told me their is no one capable or has the right equipment to fix it as its a newer assembly and it takes a different refrigerant. 2400$ for the fridge 2 months old its broken. I have With no clear answer to when or if it can be fixed, i m VERY disappointed with the product and the company that such a good reputation for building appliances...

I purchased my first home on June 29,2020 during the early stages of the COVID pandemic. All the appliances in the new home were Whirlpool appliances. From day one, the fridge's water dispenser was not dispensing water so I informed the builder during the supervision at the time and I was told it could be as a result of a filter that needs to be replaced. After my filter change did not resolve the issue, I placed my 1st service request.
The 1st technician discovered an ice build-up in the water line which prevented the water dispenser from dispensing water. After removing the ice, the fridge dispensed water for the first time in 6 months. This technician told me it could happen again. Within 2 months, the dispenser stopped working.
The 2nd technician, just like the prior one was surprised to see the ice build-up in the water line. The technician told me it was going to happen again because he could not diagnose and fix the underlying issue of why the ice build-up occurred.
Based on the reports from the two technicians, coupled with the fact that the 1-year warranty was drawing near, I reached out to Coast Appliance with my concerns about the functionality of the fridge and its persisting issue and was directed to contact Whirpool.
Whirpool told me because it was an existing problem which has persisted through warranty they would repair even if it happened again after warranty. A few weeks later, the problem recurred. The 3rd Whirlpool technician after removing the ice told me the problem could be with insulation during manufacturing, in which case the unit was deemed unrepairable.
Based on this, I called Whirlpool on Feb 24,2022 and I was so devastated when the customer service told me they can only give me 15% off in the next 30 days if I want to purchase another fridge. I told the agent I needed the fridge replaced because I was given a faulty appliance and Whirpool run out the clock on the warranty knowing full well that their technicians just taking the ice from the water line was not going to fix the underlying issue.
I hope Whirpool will see this post and get back to me on this issue.

This company is the worst to deal with and the particular technician I dealt with is worthless. My fridge broke down and it took him two weeks to discover that the fridge is not repairable. He replaced three boards and a compressor and then he went missing only to find out after he took three weeks, the fridge is no good. Then now I'm still waiting because for the last week whirlpool claim they have sent out the replacement and until now, no replacement. I just wish there was something I could do to damage their reputation but chances are there is nothing I can do. Worst company ever. The customer service is also useless. They have the most attitude, from regular staff to management. Disgusting to say the least.

Terrible Service

This is the letter I wrote to Whirlpool:

To Whom it may concern:

If you truly value your customers and their experience, I hope you take my email seriously.

I recently purchased a Whirlpool Fridge at the end of June. I was told a few weeks later it was on backorder and I would have to wait a month for it. After 2 weeks it stopped working and I had to throw out a lot of the food in the freezer and fridge that went bad, so I reached out to Canadian Appliance Source (CAS) for an exchange or refund. They said it would take 2 business days to process, after 2 days i just received and email to call Whirlpool because of Covid.

Today I called the number, which wouldnt allow me to speak to a real person, but rather instructions to go on your website. While on your website, I chatted with multiple employees, but the last person was named "Kodjo". I asked for a refund, but was told your company does not refund, however they can send a tech to see if its fixable. If its not, then a replacement product would be sent, or a refund. The earliest a person could come is Monday next week, which is a week later, and more than a week since the initial complaint I filed with CAS.

I asked Kodjo to speak with a senior manager or director and I was told that they cannot escalate and was told to call the same number that also previously sent me back to your website... what really infuriated me, was in the middle of typing to have someone on your team call me, since I just provided all my information to your customer service person Kodjo, that they disconnected from the chat.

If you believe that this is good customer service and acceptable behavior, please dont reply to my email. However, I have to believe that a company as well recognized as Whirlpool has higher standards for its service team and values their customers.

As you can tell this has been a frustrating and expensive experience that I have gone through and there as been zero accountability.

I hope someone on your team gives me a call at XXX XXXX and takes this matter seriously.

I thought this was a good make. I have never had an appliance break down not even after 15 years. My Whirlpool dishwasher broke down in 4 months. Customer service is terrible. They sent a technician 2 months ago who never came back. He supposedly ordered a part and never gives updates on when it will arrive.

Basically we are eating into our warranty and I hope Whirlpool will extend the warranty for their junk machines.

I purchased a Maytag stove 4 years ago and purchased a 5 year warranty. At 3 1/2 years after purchasing the steam from my stove was damaging the top panel of my stove. I was told that the warranty doesn't cover that, I would have to contact whirlpool directly because it was a manufacturer defect. Do you think I can get a hold of anyone about this matter, I've been on the phone for hours on countless occasions. It's impossible whirlpool please help!

This is my second purchase of whirlpool appliances, and in every case nothing but breakdowns on stoves and dishwashers.
I am done buying American made crap, if they cannot make anything better than this and last longer than 1-2 years, I am going look at German made and or Japanese made, or Chinese made!

We bought a over the range hood one year ago. It has been installed and working well until just over 1 week ago. It lit on fire. Not the food inside. The wheel attached the the mechanism that makes the glass table turn. I booked a appointment for a service person to confirm it was a safety issue and not user fault. The tech never showed on June 2. They didn't call. They just rescheduled my 8-12 appoint to a week later at 8-4. I have a job. I cannot be available again! I called customer service, the lady was going to give me a Friday morning appointment but wanted me to speak with a manager first as she was upset as what to what has happened. The manager continue to do nothing for me he would not offer me the Friday appointment only the same Monday appointment from 8 to 4. I am in Canada we are in complete lockdown I offered to send photos I offered to zoom I offered to do so many things and they will not allow this to happen. Now a company I didn't give my personal information called me and said they won't be here until June 14 while I have a fire hazard still in my home because whirlpool says it needs to be there.

Your product spontaneously caught on fire in my home with my children and animals home, and this company will do nothing to work with me even after screwing me over today.

I'll be leaving reviews to reflect whirlpools customer service and lack of compassion everywhere I can.

This product almost burnt my house down! Get your $#*! together, this is unacceptable.

As a Canadian I should have been allowed to speak with a Canadian operator, also was refused this.

Your manager Maxime from Michigan should not have his job. I was sent to him for resolution and he did absolutely nothing except prove why I will never buy another whirlpool product and be sure that everyone that I know and who will listen to me will know that your products are unsafe for a family home and you have done nothing about me getting g this soot filled junk out of my house. Because according to you it needs to stay in place.

I'm so disappointed.

I purchased a product from store in Montreal Quebec product cost me 1400$. Jenn Air retractable hood.
I opened box couple of months later when my contractor arrived to install it.
Product has a damage and can not be used. WHIRPOOL REFUSED TO TAKE CARE OF THE PROBLEM.
STORE WHERE I PURCHASED IT INSIST THAT IT IS WHIRPOOL RESPONSIBILITY.
I HAVE A PRODUCT WHICH CAN NOT BE USED: FRAME OF RETRACTABLE HOOD IS DAMAGED.
NOBODY CARES ABOUT IT!

Terrible service
January 22, 2021

Awful service. The technician came to fix my stove top. Didn't fix it, two hours after he left it was broken again. I had to fix it myself. Technician himself was a good guy, when I spoke to him he suggested I call their 1-800 number to get a refund. The number was absolutely no help, I git the broken record answer from the caller that "The service was scheduled, etc..." and wouldn't give me a higher level person to call. I ended up paying for nothing, very bad experience.
