Booked an appt. Two days before appt. I received a msg asking if I'm still interested in selling the car. Nothing mentioned about the upcoming appt Because I checked other places I wasn't sure what business was calling me. I called back two hours later and found they canceled my appt. After waiting one week. Bad customer service the msg could have mentioned the upcoming appt. Was also told when I called them they would call me back. Never received a call letting me know they canceled my appt.

Today I brought my car for valuation and representative, valued engine as a top level A, but during the procedure system asked to do an "engine check"... And you know what... the representative did a video on his phone of how I start the engine, roar a few times and forwarded it to a mechanic who is a decision maker. Mechanic came back with the verdict that the engine has a strange noise and should be downgraded to level B... (which means a few grand knocked down from the valuation) UNBELIEVABLE SCAM :)) ))) Someone made such a strong statement on a 6 years old car by watching a video from the phone...lol
This is the most funniest scam I have ever heard. And representative says, I don't hear anything bad (staying next to the car!) but they are in the office are decision makers, so if says it has a noise so he is right... ha-ha-ha

If I could score 0 I would the experience I had at the Wellingborough branch in Northamptonshire is awful the guy I had my appointment with was named James he was rude and was on his mobile and not paying attention he told me I don't know what my car was worth and to just take what he offers I took my car and sold privately I would avoid this company or atleast that branch if you have to deal with James

I met Ms Lauren at the centre on 29th August 2024 14:40hrs, who checked and valued my Mercedes A Class (Reg FD61 FNL) as £1067. She promised to keep that value quote for 4 days as per company policy. I informed that I'll definitely get back to her. The very next day 30th August when I visited, she valued my car for £992.

I questioned her about the difference in quote which she promised to keep, to which she has NO EXPLANATION! & admitted she made mistake. She didn't even had courtesy to apologise! I was fuming, but as I was in badly in need of money had to accept the new quote, which was £75 less!

Went to cramlington we buy any car met with melody who was very rude
Her welcome was go round the back no introduction?
Walked round the car which started with a valuation of over 800
She offered 60 pound less the admin fee
When I said I'm sorry for wasting your time she just walked off and left?
Not only was the experience a feel of I was an inconvenience she added the insult aswell

Absolutely appalling service. This company brought my car a month ago. Paid the wrong person account, kept my car and have refused to pay me. Only contact is through emails. No customer service at all. I have been left without the funds to buy a car. This has effected my disabled child. My job and my sons job as I drive him to work. I would never use this company again and will do everything I can to continue to warn others about trading with them!

Have sold my car today at stafford queensville branch. Lee is a really lovely guy, even sorted out refund of road tax with DVLA for me and yes even though it's a bank holiday the money was in my bank account even before I'd got the train home!

He was polite, professional and efficient. The process was straightforward and quick and he got a good price he was happy with.

Twice now I got online quotes from WBAC for my low mileage, good condition megane coupe. They offer about half of what the auto trader ads ask and about 2/3 of what I consider a fair price. And this is before the haggling the other reviewers have experienced. Far better to sell privately. I won't go near them!

They gave me a price of 3500 then took off 300 dollars off for documentation. I took it to two new car dealers and both offered more. That right new car dealers pay cash for cars if you are not buy a car. One offered 700 dollars more. Also note that if you are trading in a car you get 6% more do to not having to pay sale tax on that amount on your new card.

I registered my car with We Buy Any Car several weeks ago. I received offers that were not acceptable.

The last offer I received was ok so I went ahead and booked an appointment the same day.

The offer was for £8650. The person at the site checked the vehicle and said it was ok. This left just the paperwork to be looked at.

He said the offer would be adjusted as it only had part service history (3 out of a potential 5 stamps in the book).

The new offer came through at £6040. That was £2610 below the original offer. I explained that I stated it only had partial history when filling in the online form, so the offer would have been based on that.

The next day I received an email thanking me for attending the WBAC site and to click the link for the latest offer; again it was £8650. Are they taking the p*ss I thought.

A waste of two hours. In my opinion this organisation is praying on the desperate.

These are the kind of bastards who you find stalking amongst used car lots, ready to pounce on you with some sleazy offer. Except they are worse: instead of selling you something more than it is worth, they make out what you already have is worthless and then go on to make a tidy sum from it.

Honesty and fairness are alien concepts to them - they will never understand what these things are.

Here is what their repetitive advert SHOULD say:-

"WE BUY ANY CAR, WE BUY ANY CAR
AT A FRACTION OF ITS VALUE
ENTER YOUR REG NUMBER NOW
AND BE RIPPED OFF."

Although the guy at the branch was polite the company is very poor and are trying to take advantage of people who may have few options where to sell there car, we were offered a price on line which we didn't accept them we were bombarded with e mails with the price increasing, we eventually thought we would give them a try, the vehicle we had had a full service history and the same owner from new, we were offered 50 percent of the initial amount, we decided not to accept, 2 days later after the vehicle had been inspected by we buy any car we had another improved e mail offering us 20£ more than the initial offer we rang to check if this was valid or we were waisting our time returning, he said he would have to re inspect it, we returned and waited an hour to be seen and then was offered even less than the first face to face evaluation and we're told if we didn't accept it we would lose an extra 35£ if we came back, please don't use this car, I realise the vehicle we were selling wasn't worth a huge amount of money but we were selling in on behalf of my 85 year old father in law. I inputted all my details CORRECTLY. Got a preliminary valuation from them, as I k ow this could change due to market value. I also got another email from them increasing the offer. Again with the CORRECT details of my car.
I made an appointment to go get it looked at, i had to change the appointment, due to having to take my dog too the vets, I recieved a message to say I had been given an appointment at another branch. Even though I had asked for the first branch. But I thought no problem, I will still go, anyway I turned up, slight early, glad I did. As I was made to wait half an hour before the persons tablet had updated his location, as it was logged onto another branch. So he was unable to start the paperwork with me. He then had to ring his tech people to ask a few questions, as for some reason, he could not find my car in the system. As he was on loud speaker, I heard the man on the phone tell him, it was because I had inputted the wrong details, hence why he was having trouble. I did point out that I was not an idiot, nor incompetent, and had recieved a few emails with my correct details on it, along with the offer. So this what his tech guy had said was incorrect, I also got told that due too this, I would only be offered an absolutely pathetic offer.
The whole shambolic experience, has made me NEVER EVER, want too deal with these cowboys again.
I highly reccomend anyone to NOT USE, this company.
They are a set of incompetent cowboys.
