Poor strap quality is the issue here.
I owned a beautiful Tudor Black Bay Chronograph S&G bought from Watches of Switzerland for 10 months when the watch fell from my wrist, luckily whilst sitting down and onto carpet.
Upon inspection is was clear the leather had broken off at its weak point around the clasp.
I had worn the watch on special occasions and occasionally, roughly 70 times during the 10 months. I wear the Raymond Weil with black leather strap as a daily wearer and have done for around 6 yrs or more.
As you can see from the photos, one of these is worn and one of these is broken... one lasted 70 days one 6 yrs, guess which is which.
The cost to replace is quoted as £345 for the strap. No willingness to offer any concession for the price of the strap despite the short lifespan of the original.
Proceed with caution if expecting helpful after sales and quality straps from Watches of Switzerland and Tudor. WOS were quick to lay the responsibility at Tudor.

Bought an expensive watch. They promised me a service free of charge. When I then asked for it they made excuses why I should wait longer. Then they said (although I have it in writing) that the sales person had left. They do not answer my complaint. So, dont trust them, go somewhere else!
