Never doing business again with them. Waste Connections consistently failed to meet the terms of their contracts and their communication was extremely poor. They renew contracts automatically without proper notice and threaten legal action if you try to cancel. Overall, a very unprofessional and disappointing experience.
Missed pickups, don't do what they say they are going to, try to double charge you, do not have any customer loyalty. If I were looking for trash service, I would look somewhere else.

Waste connections will charge their customers for services not provided. Say, bad weather hits, instead of picking up as soon as they can they will just skip you. They refuse to adjust bills when they don't provided the service they are paid to provide.
As a business that generates a lot of diaper trash we count on our Tuesday and Friday pickups. Our Tuesday pickup rarely comes. Even after we call on Monday to make sure they say they will be here Tuesday but don't arrive. I don't know if they have staffing issues but since they have a monopoly on this service in Waxahachie it is a bad look for both the company and the city.
5 year contract, start low $ but soon you will pay more in garbage removal than your mortgage. You provide them an open check for 5 years.
They are complete crap. The customer service is impossible to get a hold of. They increase your rates frequently. They are rude, uneducated imbeciles. They operate very unethically. I have been trying to cancel service with them for over a month and I go weeks without getting a single reply to my emails.
They only pick up your trash about 75% of the time but won't give you refunds or call you back. They also lie and say they've serviced your address when they haven't.

This company is so horrible. They do not care about their customers. They are inconsistent on pick up days and time when you call customer service they are $#*!. They will not help you and they will not come out until the next week. Then they try to say that the trashcan was not outside the location And they look up cameras to show that it wasn't. They always pick up at a certain time until it's convenient for them to switch up the time so that they can screw customers they went from $40 for two trash cans up to $80 for two trash cans in a matter of one year and they try to say that you do not look at your invoice so that you can renew the contract. I've been a a customer since 2017 and yet they wanna treat me like this. I will be looking for other trash companies in my area. I am done with this stupid company.
They quoted me a price online that I signed up for and then added another $40 onto it without telling me and then charged me a late fee for not paying it. When I called in about it they said "thats why we want you to call in to sign up" as if it was my fault that their website lies about the price youre going to pay for service.
Waste Connections, you give them business for years, then have to have your lawyer involved to cancel the contract when you no longer own the place.
This company is terrible. We have back yard service for a reason. They have missed our address more than they have stopped and picked up my trash. The people on the phone will lie to you and just tell you what you want to hear. I have had to threaten to call the department of health because it got so bad. Terrible company. I would not recommend them to my worst enemy.
This company is the worst option for commercial trash pickup. Beware a contract is for five years and auto renews without any notification of the customer and the only way out is to pay for the balance of the five year contract, On April 1 my building escapes and I am very relieved. My rates have increased just over the last year at more than 3 times the inflation rate.
I have used Waste Connections for many years and though I wasn't all that pleased with the service or the amount of trash their drivers left in the street every time they picked up I had not reached my limit till they recently raised my rates by 22%. I called to see if the rate increase was correct and received a registered letter telling me that it would cost me $2,600 to end the contract. They have a 60 month contract that automatically renews and only allows a customer to leave them at the end of the contract. A local company is happy to pick up my trash for $100 a month less dont know how I got mixed up with this company.
Beware, they lock you in to a 5 year contract, and charge huge cash when you want, or need out! Do not use this Company, it is likely cheaper to leave your wife, than it is to terminate your garbage can.
I would give 0 stars if possible. Idk what has happened over that last 6 years bur I started with American Disposal and for the first year or so they were great. After that they started going down hill and occasionally missing pick ups and customer service soon followed into the gutter. Eventually they rebranded to Waste Connection which I believe was a weak attempt to save face. Their service has gotten so bad I can count on one had how many times my trash has been picked up on time in the last 6 months and still have a few fingers left over. I literally just watched their truck drive by my house on trash day and not pick it up. Getting a hold if customer service is nearly impossible and when you can get ahold of them they will usually tell you sorry, you're SOL amd will have to wait till the next scheduled pick up. Avoid Waste Connection at all costs. You'd be better off just taking your trash to the dump yourself.
They have missed several pickups. Won't pickup if trash can is wrong place. Won't pick up boxes full of trash. Leave cans in the street. Poor customer service. If they miss a pickup you have to wait a week. Very lazy drivers
I have to call ever 2 months for them to pick up my trash. Now it's been almost 4 weeks and no one has called me regarding workers picking up my trash. Always something why they can't pick it up. But want their payment in time. When u call to talk to someone hire up always an excuse. Do not recommend them at all horrible ppl.
An Amy at the Wichita Office N Ohio Customer Service provided me with a great experience. The biggest point, she cared, she called me back the next day about a previous conversation when she didn't have to. Thank You So Much!
This company refuses to cancel service that they have been steadily hiking the prices up for over 30 years. I work for an elderly man who was aghast to find out he has been direct depositing over $450 a month for simple trash service. These people should be ashamed of themselves. See you in court!

We should all quit paying them and contribute all our money into opening a reliable, dependable service that actually shows up when they are suppose to. They are lucky there is no one else in this business and we are all stuck with their crappy service...I guarantee if there was another trash company we would All Switch! I wish they would go out of business so we could be forced to use someone, anyone else...
