I was able to learn about the car information I couldn't get otherwise. Some places wanted lots of money for information but this was a great price. I will use it again.
I came on the site to check into a truck I was looking to purchase and I am so glad I did because doing so and checking the VIN I would have never of known that the truck has been into an accident due to the dealership not telling me that it was
Needed to verify a used car I was buying was what the seller was claiming it was. This service was quick and easy, just a dollar vs CarFax's $40 and gave me all the info I needed
Purchased owners history for $1, & now I've been charged 2 times of 29.95! I've cancelled last month & now another 29.95 & I'm getting the run around again! Just cancel & refund!
I wanted to check out the vin number for a vehicle. I did a search for carfax. I saw an ad for $1.00 to check out a vin number. I put the vin number in and watched as all of this supposed scanning took place. Then I needed to put in my payment information. Immediately I get a message about the charge. I should have stopped right then and checked out why, but I didn't. I thought things were okay. Boy was I wrong. I said let the transaction go ahead. Immediately I got a notice from my credit card for a $29.95 charge. What the hell? I started chatting with them and they told me you have to sign up for a recurring monthly payment. What the hell? What happened to the $1.00 vin number check? It doesn't exist. That is just the scam to get your credit card information. I told them I didn't sign up for that and I wanted the charges reversed. I gave them my email and the last six digits of my card. I received a generic email about a cancellation. The next day I get a strange $4.95 charge. What the hell? The credit card company had already stopped that charge. They are getting me a new card. My credit card reversed all the charges. DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE SCAMMERS!
I received 3 Different Vin history reports on 3 Different cars, and there was basically no information on these reports. There was a year a make a model and just light title records.
I think the service is great. I just don't think it should have to be paid for. I think the ads ran on the website should be sufficient enough to cover the $1 fee.
The same story. My husband went on and paid $1 on 7/14, then we got a $29.95 charge the same day! 7/15, we got a $4.95 charge. Will be calling our bank today, I refuse to be scammed!
The site says this is $1 and they charge you the $1 plus charge your card another $29.95. I just had to spend 30 minutes disputing the charge. This site is a scam, do not give them a credit card #
There's a careless typo on the second page, "cofidence," which doesn't give me a lot of coNfidence in the report:-) But for $1 it was fine, I just needed to check out a couple of basic things.
Overall not bad, could be better. At the beginning, the system showed that there is information about the car, but after payment it turned out that there is not))) but otherwise ok
They say they have your VIN and will charge you $1. They will charge you close to 30$ and add a subscription to their service. Cancel immediately and report as a scam.
Very similar situation here as other reviewer. Firstly I was lied by their $1 report and this is how they charged me for 3/2 service:

What's up with all these different merchant names and these random dates of charges EVEN AFTER THE CANCELLATION OF THE SERVICE was done immediately in 3/2?

Same story as every other review... wish I would have checked here first. Luckily my bank detected the fraud before they got any money. Just stay away from this site.
Do not use this site! It is total scam. False advertising. They advertise car history report for $1, but you will be charged $29.95 I have notified my bank to stop payment.
The information on my vinlookup report was great it gave me all the information I needed to help me make a decision whether or not to buy a used vehicle I was looking at thank you
Great vin history service I was able to review the car's history ownership accidents if it had a salvage title it really helped me make a decision whether to buy a used vehicle or not
Needed to verify a VIN as seller had no title to the vehicle I was thinking of purchasing. Another person gave me the website and I was able to easily check the history on the vehicle.
Nowhere does it say anything about a report costing more than $1.00. Turns out, once you order a report for $1.00, the immediately charge you $29.95 for a membership. DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE
Paid the $1 for the vehicle report. When reviewing the results, the owners names were not included. Option to pay more for the names was given instead. Along with a few more addons for more $
