Such a worst website. They mentioned I can get report for 1$ and later they charged me 30$ and when I questioned they said I was enrolled for autopay for biweekly without any acknowledgement. They said I will get refund in 7 days now its 18 days and still they are asking for more 10 days to solve this issue. Just keep away from this website such a con site and pathetic customer service they dont respond if you question them and now I am charged another 30$ so in total 60$... Just be aware!
Vinhistoryusa offers a great service that I plan to use again in the future. It was great to see so much information about the vehicles I was looking at. The history report is fantastic. Very convenient and easy to use. I definitely recommend them.
I was charged for your service and then was told my Vin # was incorrect. I tried again after verifying my Vin # with title and still no results were given. Said it wasn't found or incorrect. So I paid for a service but received no results.
I entered the details needed, processed the payment, and after that payment was accepted the webpage popped up a red box to let me know that they couldnot generate a report for me.
They kept my money and did not provide a service. That is illegal in all states.
All I wanted was to find out what the model number of my truck was I did not get that information you didn't tell me what I needed then you took $30 out of my account two days later you people are thieves you should be in jail
VINHistoryUSA has a great website that is very easy to use. The information comes quickly and is displayed in a way that is easy to follow. I would definitely use their service again and suggested to friends.
Just like everyone else signed up for $1 then charged me $29.95 then $4.95 shows up,called bank and canceled my card and going to dispute it. Just wished I would have looked up reviews first.Had to give one star I wouldn't even give that if didn't have to
Charged $1 then tried to charge $24.99 which I didn't authorize. The report was complete rubbish. Charges are under "BACKGROUNDLOOKER" No receipt emailed to me so I can't supply that. Went to Online Chat to cancel order & get a refund - at which point they wanted my exact name, last 6 of card & email. Not sure if this is continuation of the scam or the only way to cancel the "subscription" they claim I signed up for.
Cheaper than other sites. Strongly recommended for everyone. I got all the information i need for the car. I was purchasing a preowned vehicle and I don't know the history of the vehicle. This site helped me to find all the information I needed.
When i put the vin it shows that they found the specification and the report they asked to pay when i paid they said that the vin is invalid
Said try againg with another vin
I went to another company and the other company sent the report with no issue
Anyway i reported them for paypal.

Just out to get your credit card number - do not use this site! Within seconds of submitting payment of the "$1" quoted, my card was charged for substantially more

It charged me 2x transactions for $1 each l, so a total of $2.
Next day, it charged me $30.
I bought the car thinking it had 130k.
Next day I seen a real report from AutoCheck, which there using a for of piggy back, to show you there info.
But the page says my car had no odometer problems… now I have a car with 200k+
I'm very upset. Hopefully I can refund the car, or I can open suit against this company if they exist. Either way I'm fighting till the end.
I am looking for a vehicle and I was searching on line. I saw a few I would like to look at but wanted to know as much as I could about the vehicle before I got to the dealership. The price was very affordable and I could down load a PDF copy to print out if I wanted to. I felt I could make a better deal with the information I received and some I didn't want to visit because of some information that was not good.
I have been going around in circles with their team since Nov 1, still no refund and still no contact! This feels very scammy, very unethical. I probably should have tried to follow up with some more independent research before committing to it but I was in a vulnerable place at the time. Their website is also woefully misleading. They state you'll only be charged a dollar but I was charged $45, after asking customer service why they said it was a monthly subscription plus $1 for every report you request. Despite multiple attempts, being given a ticket number and the circus act of messaging live chat and getting automated teleprompts on the phone line, I have decided to cancel my card and speak to my bank, and contact ScamWatch and the ACCC. This company has absolutely contributed to my anxiety, at a time where it was already really suffering due to multiple devastating circumstances, and to just make matters worse they have stolen my money!
I submitted a complaint with the BBB (prior to my Sept. 4th review on this site). In addition, I have reported them to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). I urge you each to report them to the FTC in hopes of shutting them down. They are despicable!
False advrtising! They gaff you with "completely free". After you provide your personal info, they want to charge you $1. They actually say "beware of companies that claim to be completely free". WTF!
If you are reading this review. Never ever go for VinHistoryUSA for Vin report.
They are chargning $1 for report, $1 for same report to download and $1 to same report to print.
I talk to customer care and they said it is like that.
They are just making money by fooling customers.
A big no for this website. I wish i could have record the call. The customer support agent disconnect the call in the middle, when i ask what is the difference between download and print.
I applied,It says free but later ask for $1 and start processing my request.After charging my card it shows message VIN not found which is like cheat someone knowingly
