My daughter ordered a dress September 21st for Homecoming and paid extra for expedited shipping. It is now October 28th and I still have not received the dress. We were told the dress would arrive in time for her event. The day before the event they finally emailed me and said it was impossible for the dress to arrive on time, but I would be charged half price if I cancelled. I told them to send it anyway if they were going to charge me for it. 3 weeks later I still have not received a dress. I cancelled the charges through my bank yesterday and they sent an email this morning stating that they shipped the dress. While on the phone with my bank the two tracking numbers they gave me as well as the track your order on their web page failed to produce tracking information for the dress. Furthermore, the email read that if my dress arrived in Brazil to call the post office or customs. WHAT?!?! Have you ever heard of that before?!?!?!? After reading the rest of these reviews I don't have high hopes for the dress once it arrives. I will NEVER buy anything on-line from a company in China again. I did not realize that was what I was doing when I did it. I will definitely make sure I research the company next time. I ended up having to go out late at night and buy another dress at the store for my daughter. Cost me twice as much!
I recently purchased a Homecoming dress for my daughter. The dress was beautiful and a perfect fit, however, during the actual homecoming dance, her dress FELL APART at the top and she was almost "exposed" to several students. She had to sit apart from the dance with a teacher until I could arrive to sew the back of her dress together so she could enjoy the rest of her night. I contacted them by email because there is no telephone number listed even though they claim to have excellent customer service. I sent pictures of where the hooks fell off the back and where I had to sew it myself (and later cut it off of her). It took 3 days for a response and I was told to have it fixed by a tailer. I asked for a refund partial refund and they offed 2% on a dress I paid almost $200 for. They guarantee excellent customer service and guarantee their handmade work, but they do not honor it. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!
What ever you do do NOT order ANYTHING from this company. The dresses received looks NOTHING like the pictures. They are POORLY constructed, ILL FITTING and the ones I received SMELLED BADLY to boot. The company will DENY any LIABILITY and REFUSE a REFUND. Look at the photos and judge for yourself. Thankfully I have a ROBUST credit card company and bank and they are going after the money for me. I also filed a complaint with https://www.econsumer.gov/en/FileAComplaint#crnt. They are a government agency that investigates frauds committed by other countries.
I can honestly say I've never been this dissatisfied with any online purchase, ever. I ordered this dress A-lined, Mini Dress custom sized because my daughter is only 5'4" and has a petite upper body and a fuller lower body. With all of the embellishments on top I knew this was the ideal way to go. I gave all of the specifications accurately. The dress did arrive quickly and the waist fits perfectly... that's all the good I have to say. The bust is HUGE and the length goes to her knees. The bust is nowhere near the 32" measurement given nor is the length a mini. I can stick my entire arm between the dress and my daughter's chest.
I requested a refund. I've been emailing customer service back and forth for a week now. I've been bounced around between 4 different CS reps. I've sent pictures of my daughter in the dress. I sent a picture of the bust measurement and their only response is "Your dress was made exactly according to the measurements you offered. The difference is within 1 inch." I'm not sure how they can say that when the dress is completely falling off of her top and the length is 3-4" too long.
Then I offer to ship it back if I will get a full refund and this is the response I received "if you return them, you need to pay the high postage and tax, also they are easy to be missing on the return way and you will take the full responsible for the return." From this reply, I do not trust for 1 minute that they will acknowledge receipt of the return and will blame it on the delivery system.
Their next suggestion was to find a tailor to alter it... even though that defeats the purpose of a custom sized dress. I bring it to a seamstress and she says there is no way to alter it because of all of the embellishments on the top. Again, proving my point in getting a custom size in the first place. Each time I try to update customer service with where things are at on my end they keep saying "find a tailor" and "the dress is made within 1" of the measurements. I even asked for a 50% refund to somewhat compensate the poor production of this dress. They said they could offer me 5%. I told them that a $7 refund does not even come close to fixing this.
At the end of it all, I have a worthless dress that fits no one in my family and I wasted $150 on the dress (shipping included). Vickydresses.com does not stand behind their workmanship and clearly does not work to satisfy the customer. Please BEWARE of purchasing a dress from this company.

I ordered dress with expedited shipping, only to find out it wasn't coming for 15-20 days when ON THE SITE IT SAYS 3-8 days. This is passed my date that I even needed it for, there goes $40 down the drain, lol.
2.) I cancelled my order within 6 hours of ordering because I read everyone's reviews, and they then told me it was fine and my order had been cancelled, only for me then to find out I would be receiving the dress in 15-20 days (wtf? Expedited shipping where you at?) and that I could not be refunded. I was MAD to say the least. I then continued to email this site continuously telling them I wouldn't not be giving up on being refunded and that if I didn't see $174 (lol nice an extra $42) back on my account there was gonna be serious issues, and then they stopped replying. They literally stopped replying. And wanna know the best part? I still haven't received my dress. WORST SITE EVER. Where can a girl find a lawyer? Lol. Continue on to your online shopping, just be safe, and love urself! Don't order off of sketchy sites across the world where you know "sory ma'am, no refund fo u" is gonna be in your recently deleted!

Ver paid a lil under 200 for... i cld have bought sonething at walmart if they had evening wear that would actuakly look like a designer dress. So the dress had pleating work all the way around the waist and it's all uneven, ud think they would have at least measured correctly being that the pleating work is the biggest deal besides the lace on the top (which I'm not going to go into I'd be sitting here all night). Anywho, I took a pic of the front set of pleating in the middle of the dress and pinned it on both sides and so I showed by tape saftey pinned that its uneven and it all the way round. My tailor said 300, easy, just to start they'd have to take the whole dress apart and repleat the entire mid section!... and this sorry excuse for a company... if u want to call them that (i wouldn't on my deathbed!) Tried to tell me it's fine and then after I literally had to $#*! (which I don't do unless something is absolutely terrible cause I think doing wrong /lieing to others without putting fourth effort to show, " hey u messed up!" before you get $#*!ty on them isnt cool. So they told me they would refund me 8!% of my dress price. Dude that's less then 15 bucks! I was this is a joke right!?... so i asked for a return label at thier expense, they told me again 8 %... so i was like, u pay for the money to send it back and u can keep my damn money just so u can see how $#*!ty ur dress is and I'll mark everywhere it's messed up so they know! Answer: NO. Not even close. The dress you will get looks like it was made to sell as a costume. The quality is similar to the costumes you buy for Halloween. AWFUL!
Answer: You can tell by the reviews on their site that its a scam. The reviews for each dress are all similar in time stamps and their language is similar and way too proper in all the reviews. On one of the dresses the four time stamps for the comments were 11:44,1:44,6:44, and 8:44.
