Consulates should be ashamed of passing on their consular responsibilities to this poor excuse of a vendor. Their systems don't work, their customer service is nonexistent (except for a pre-recorded answering machine) and, just to reiterate, their systems don't work. It keeps logging me off, blocking my account, when it's not logging me out their rescheduling service keeps crashing, and this was after I struggled incredibly to find an appointment. Instead of even telling you what the next appointment is, it just says "no appointments available".
Again, consulates should be ASHAMED of using these scamming vendors and just pass on their responsibilities on them.
Company set by the ultra rich to take your money and use it to control you. What do they even do.Its not even an official government institution. Yet they take millions of people their data and passports. If you dont send info within 30 days you lose your money. Nothing more then leechers. Look at the score they have on this website. They are nothing more then taking your money for things no one needs
Mum had a bad experience at VFS Yangon. In mum's case, they didn't take her biometrics on her first appointment because her name in the request form had a discrepancy, so we had to contact immigration and get another form and was asked to re-book another appointment. VFS appointment booking system is designed in a way that it doesn't allow changes nor re-booking so that they can charge you additional fees for not having an appointment. Moreover, the center does not issue any appointment which sounds ridiculous as well. There is no contact number for the Yangon center so my 74 year old mum had to go there. They charged her USD 55, which is twice the amount of service fee of biometric collection fee (USD 28) for not having another appointment where their system did not allow us to re-book. Staff said it is our fault and did not take any responsibility of their crappy booking system at all.
Paid 3400 for premium service. I imagined going into a nice relaxed area with my girlfriend with free scanning of documents
I wasn't allowed in. The area was far from plush as advertised and then charged 500 Baht for scanning. When I queried it. She just laughed and said I should have paid 200 more
Terrible service
Slots are selling for 35,000/- to needed peoples. Common students to present the research made in India not be allowed to go.they are blocking the sites during transaction purposely...not an transparent thing...
The service is useless. They team is so unprofessional and have no clue what are the documents needed. All what they cared about is to find a way to charge me more money, either by saying the application form changed or they need to perform some additional services, etc... I ended up paying 800AED for nothing! I truly believe this is not the type of services we have in Dubai and this center should find a way to deliver better services or change their staff!
Very unprofessional website. I can't access my account, and I can't make a new one, so many wrong things in the registration and sign up. On top of that each time I found an appointment after tens of attempts and tried to book it, something goes wrong and I just can't continue, in the few times my data was accepted I couldn't book any appointment from the available times because it kept showing me that the selected time is not available, although it's still available when I go back to choose another one.
So all in all almost nothing works in this $#*!ty site. And now after weeks of trying I'm forced to pay a lot of money to some agent which can get me an appointment somehow soon... Corruption
I spend almost 400 dollars in notary and FedEx to get OCI renewal from VFS Global. They are so poor and pathetic in everything. They are so late in responding to queries and the site sucks. Even after sending them the required documents, they returned everything stating as the documents missing. They didn't even care to check their FedEx deliveries or the people have no coordination.If you want to call them, you have to pay huge money for it. It's a total waste of time, money and energy to deal with them. It's better to try for evisa while travelling to India. Indian consulate should immediately change this company ASAP. They simply sucks.

- VFS runs a primitive operation, specializing in taking your money and only slightly in travel assistance.
- I applied for travel documents and VFS responded that a variety of items were missing. Not true, but I resubmitted (+ paid the FedEx charge), including some originals that required notarization. Now VFS responds that I still failed to submit a document on the checklist. Again, not true, and I will need to generate and notarize it again. Phoning to appeal the incorrect decision would cost me $2.48/minute.
Who is the owners of such low quality service office, it should be a benefit group with the embassies.
I can't believe that all complain from them and they are still approved and running the buisness.

The booking website has one job! To schedule bookings and it fails. It fails at multiple steps requiring one to make numerous attempts. I don't understand how VFS is still in business with this absolutely horrendous service! I honestly hope a competitor enters the space and forces you to improve your lackluster service and/or drive you out of business.
This organization is engaged in what seems like daytime robbery. Their service sucks and when you call for support, they add insult to injury by charging you for your calls, This should be illegal- I pay for service and when I call to ask questions, you charge me to answer? Such behavior will only be tolerated by Indian Embassies I guess.
VFS is probably the worst company in the world. I have tried to book an appointment for the past three weeks and could not find a spot. Their worthless webpage and customer service are inaccessible. I would have given it a zero rating if it was possible—all in all a horrible experience with this hopeless company.
In this actual world where reviews plays a lot in a company future, it seems that VSF does not care about what comes. Does it not call the company that many people come and complain with rude words and the minimum rating about the service? (maybe it is not important because you hold the monopole?). Reaching the customer service is a living hell + money waste. The service when you go on site is not better. Not all, but most of the employees behave as they are from another planet. Kindly do something.
I have been waiting for the Portugal appointment slots since a month but I pay GBP290.00 today 18.07.2023 just only for the appointment and I get appointment this Friday 21.07.2023, Also its strange you are not allowed to review VFS on google reviews..
This company has not trained any of their employees at all, I think they just don't have any training modules that they follow. You try calling customer service after 30-35 minutes wait time agent will pick up the call but will not give you any answers as they have zero knowledge of what they are doing and if you email them you will never ever get any reply or response to them. I don't know why this company is still in business.

SHAME SHAME SHAME
I had an appointment with VFS Global for Schengen visa to Austria. I spent close to 4 hours for what was described to be 15-30 minutes appointment. I had to rebook my train tickets twice as a result. The whole place was chaotic. The staff seemed untrained. I would not be surprised if passports were misplaced. The whole operation seemed to be a leach operation or a scam. European embassies and consulates, stop using this terrible service for your sake of the image of your country. You do not want such a terrible company to ruin the very first impression of your country. Take back your own visa services!
Site is broken, I am not able to proceed to book an appointment, written down several Emails, no response, talked to customer service they charged me 2.48$/min and at the end they say send out an Email to *******@vfshelpline.com they'll get back to you in 48 hours, it almost one week, no response.
Worst experience ever.
1. How can they put a broken website in production environment? Its ridiculous.
2. I never encountered any customer service who charge for the service (looks like they purposely put the broken website so that customer call them and they charge customers heavily for the call and make money)
