The folks that do the clinics and the people at Vet Source that fill your prescriptions are not on the same page. I had a heartworm test for my dog at a local clinic and a week later tried to order the heartworm med for a year. My order got cancelled by Vet Source with a reason that I could not order a years supply as my dog was not at maturity yet. My dog is 7 months old and weights 66 lbs. The med I ordered was for dogs 51 to 100 lbs. There is no way my dog will ever weigh 100 lbs. When I called I was on hold for 39 minutes before a human answered. When I finally talked to someone, I was told a vet would have to call me back. When they did, they said they could sell me a 6 month supply. (Naturally, a years supply is much cheaper). Although I am not scheduled to see their clinic staff again until a year from now for shots, the vet still said I would have to take my dog back to get her weighed to update the record in 6 months. I asked if they could give me a RX since I paid for the heartworm test and she said no. I was told I could have another company call them but they would not approve a years supply. I have always bought a years supply from their clinic staff in the past but I had an online coupon that I wanted to use to get a discount so I did not buy at time of heartworm test. It is all a racket to get as much money as possible from the customer. Fortunately, I purchased my heartworm med at another pet supply store that did not have to have anything from Pet Source. Pet Source has no customer service at all! I don't plan on using their clinic anymore either.
I received the most Rude, Obnoxious & poor service. I asked to speak to a manager and he sent to me to a survey and hung up!
There interceptor plus for 1 went to a ridiculous high price 30 dollars lol and other places only 12
Will not use this source again. They basically blamed the vet and the client (me) for not getting the package to us in a timely manner.

Cancelled my order for prescription dog food without even contacting my vet! Now my poor dog has to wait even longer for his prescription diet, they do not value your pet at all
You have to order on Monday to receive the Indulin by Friday. THAT IS INSANE. When you talk to them they're not very bright as it is. I wish my doctor would use a different service.
Placed an order for Dasuquin Chewables and received the WRONG item. I ordered SMALL chews, they sent me LARGE. Was told they're NON-REFUNDABLE. Spoke with my vet's office yesterday, and they couldn't understand WHY since they haven't been opened and it's NOT a prescription item. Suggested I call the back to inquire as to WHY I'm being told NO REFUNDS. Spoke with Zach a few minutes ago, and read the return policy to him on the sales of OTC items. "Over The Counter Products:

All returns must be pre-approved by Vetsource before return documents and credit can be issued.". Zach stated "Dasuquin happens to be one of those CERTAIN items that are non-returnable". THEY ARE A SHAM COMPANY! Do NOT purchase from them! I wish I had read these reviews before placing an order--now I have the task of going thru the entire package and conforming the chews into the apppopriate dosage for a dog. SHAME ON YOU VETSOURCE!

Sent the wrong amount of prescription. On the phone for over an hour. Spoke to 4 people. Had to call manufacturer who said it wasn't their fault.
Do not order from them. Use Petco I ordered my product on February 2nd. It's February 28th. Horrible customer service.
If you buy from them and want to return they will not let you, if they approve return they will make you pay for it. Terrible customer service

If you have anything delivered that you need on a monthly basis for your pet-pass on their convient mail service. Every month so far they have been late- on flea and tick medication that pretty much needs to be taken on-time monthly.
My Vet had to stop my puppy meds because they weren't working-and prescribe her a new brand. The mailer (that was late) was unopened. So the Vetsource.com side stated that I had to speak to their pharmacy for a refund. I waited and waited... I was 8th in line (and waiting over 10 minutes) and then when I was 1st in the queue the phone hung up... So I had to call back again and wait in the queue yet again. When I finally reached the pharmacy-she stated that they could not give me the return-I explained to them that it was late and that also it will not be the prescription moving forward. The Animal Pharmacist stated that they did not ever give money back... but I could call my vet back and maybe they could do something for me.
I called my vet fuming mad (they work with vet source.com), the people at my vet are awesome... and they let me know the woman lied to me they do give refunds but they need a vet authorization... the vetsource.com pharmacist conveniently "forgot" to mention that. I am sure they do not share that because they do not want to give any money back...
My vet said they are moving away from vetsource.com because they are consistently having bad feedback from their patients about vetsource.com "customer service".
AVOID this place... there are so many better places to get your pet meds.
I placed an order for my pups Frontline and also his special food which is a prescription. I got the Frontline in the mail and opened it up and noticed I accidentally ordered Frontline Plus instead of Frontline Gold. Since I got my box in the late afternoon/evening after the time Vetsource close I had to wait to contact until the next day (I called them yesterday. I asked if they would accept the Frontline Plus back not opened as I accidentally ordered the wrong Frontline and the lady on the phone said no they cannot accept it back. I was shocked because it literally just arrived and was not opened. They claim any prescription product they can not accept back. WELL FRONTLINE PLUS IS SOLD IN STORES SO THIS DOES NOT NEED TO BE A PRESCRIBED PRODUCT. All I wanted was to return the item to get the Frontline Gold that my dog uses and pay the difference in price since Frontline Gold is more. What a scam. Also with my pups prescription food STILL HAS NOT SHIPPED And was placed on 7/12/2022. I selected to get autoship but now I'm going to cancel that and go back to a different provider. It's not like my dog can just drop everything and eat whatever. Constantly changing a dogs food needs to be slowly implemented and this one is a specific type. I do not recommend ordering from Vetsource because if they won't accept an item back that is not even opened that was literally received a few hours before just from a small mistake on ordering THEN IT'S A SCAM AND HORRIBLE COMPANY. They wouldn't even offer a coupon or anything the lady said 'oh the only thing you can do is put another order in for the Gold". NO I ALREADY PAID $80.00 for the plus and now you want me to pay $106.00 and get stuck with the $80.00 too screw that.
