Absolutely terrible provider. Was promised rebates, low prices, etc. they found every reason to not honor the rebate and their prices are higher than promised. Good luck contacting someone to actually talk to from customer service. They purposely drop your calls, the automated systems cannot answer your questions and their customer service is horrible! Would NEVER recommend to anyone this provider. Was with ATT for years with zero issues and wonderful customer service. We only switched for the gizmo devices and now we realize we should have stayed with ATT and got apple watches. It would have been cheaper due to all the hidden fees Verizon has!
Customer support is impossible to deal with. The agents just don't get it. You'll never get the feeling that your concerns will get properly resolved. I've never dealt with a company that makes you feel so uncomfortable. Their prices are ridiculous and they just hit me with a $6/line fee out of nowhere just to move me to a more expensive plan. It's not the $6 fee it's the pettiness of the organization without recognizing that something so small could piss off long time customers.
This used to be a good company. I don't know what happened but I'd stay away.
Called the call center several weeks ago to discuss my account. I was hung up on by 3 different reps. I had to finally ask for a supervisor after 6 hours because no one else knew what they were doing. Today, they lied about my bill to me, told me I owe 1k on my bill when my balance is 353.25. I'll share photos if I can.
I've wasted hours online with various chat agents (some that Verizon claims are live agents), and still can't log into my long-standing account. When I try to log in, I'm asked security questions that I've never seen before--clearly not ones I would have chosen. When I try to get help, the chat agent tells me I need to log into my account first before I can get help. It's an endless, time-wasting loop. Also, my Verizon cell phone also has terrible reception where I live--in the middle of a large city, but that's another issue.
Applied for new wireless service for my son. Was met with open hostility and eventually denied service because he is hard of hearing. Can you imagine being mad at some for not being able to hear? I would never give them a dime of my money ever.
I've been with Verizon for past 10 years and honestly love the service. Only giving it a 4 start because I wish they would lower their prices down. I would long time ago switch to a different company but I have a whole family who would need to have number changed and some don't approve so we kind of stick paying a high bill. They do have good promotions ones in a while and I do like when bill can be lowered. But if i we're to start I would go with bit cheaper company! With slightly better benefits
I registered for automatic payment of my bills. The website says I am duly signed up for auto bill payment and that bill payment will be automatically done from my account. My last bill was due Feb 21 and was not taken out automatically. I called customer service on Feb 25 and they advised me to pay again. They told me I would need to call them back if i was charged a late fee. Today when called I spent 30 minutes either on hold or being transferred to yet another department. Growl. Do not us Verizon
I thought no company could possibly ever be worse than Comcast used to be in their worst days. Verizon has proved me wrong. I despise this company, and wish they would just go out of business. Without fail their customer service is either nonexistent, or they screw up everything, or they screw up everything but act like they're going to assist you. It isn't even worth going through any details. They are terrible and impossible to deal with across the board, for anything you might need, and regardless of whether you're a consumer or a business account. Even when it comes to sales they screw up everything! Never mind saying I hate Verizon. I D-E-S-P-I-S-E Verizon!
After spending a total of 11 hours on my phone talking and being on hold with Verizon to add three phone lines to my account; an account I've been using for over 15 years with zero late paid monthly bills, I finally just gave up. They took my fingerprints (sent me an app for doing so and who knows now who has a copy of my fingerprints), copies of my DL, etc. And still no phones that I offered to pay cash for. Makes you think just how dishonest is Verizon...
If you owe Verizon a cent of last month's bill they lock you out of the app. My bill should be 150 but every month I owe about 450. Because I'm less than 1 month passed due I'm not able to speak with an agent to unlock my account and see the bill. I tried their chat room they suggested but it's another AI that has a payment link that doesn't work and no way to get the account unlocked to make a payment. Verizon is by far the worst phone company I've had. Get a company you can trust
I've visited 3 or 4 Verizon stores over the past 4 years. The most helpful employee is at the Auburn Hills Mi store. His name is Malik. He really WANTS to remedy your problem. He's knowledgeable and patient... even when you are frustrated. He goes above and beyond (ie creating a group text with other employees when you have a group text problem). This is the second time he has come to my rescue. Very valuable employee :)
I had been a customer for 20 years. I was told I could toggle back and forth between Unlimited and 5 gigs, yet when I called to get my plan back to 5 gigs, it somehow didn't take for three months. I continued to get billed for $125 or more despite not needing this service and despite calling every time the bill came wrong. The company will not back date the bills, so I've paid hundreds of dollars for service I did not need. Good bye, Verizon. I'm moving to Google Fi
Customer service was the worst i have ever dealt with. To talk to a real person you can only do though chat which is very slow and then still had to go back and set up a new account when i just want to switch devices.
Ordered and was supposed to receive service in 6 days.
Nothing so far.
They requested additional documents, which provided repeatedly, but the order remains on hold 4 days later.
One customer service agent transfers to another with mixed messages; one says the hold is removed, the other says it is still in hold on the system.
Not available to contact except during working hours, which are never mentioned when you receive the recorded message.
When they are within business hours, I was left on hold over the phone for over an hour with no response.
The customer service agent is like a broken record, keeps repeating messages and adds no information.
No predictability of when you should receive the service.
I even don't know how to cancel the order.
I'm writing a review about the independence ky. Store and its about your employee mark beckman he did not try to offer any kind of customer service to us in as far as giving us a break on the cost of our product i was a cincinnati bell wireless for 16 years when verizon bought them out and i became a verizon customer we are of an older generation who believes in giving your customer a break but with mark beckman i think he figured he had a couple of suckers and he stuck it to us that why i feel a need to write a review my two cells on my account are *******058 and *******922 thanks for any help someone can be
Visited the Verizon store at the corner of Colonial and Six Mile Cypress this morning. Experienced a female brunette salesperson with disgustingly HUGE fake eyelashes. I waited for 10 minutes for the store to open and get assistance setting up a new phone. (Mine was stolen) The representative didn't ask any clarifying questions before immediately talking down to me as though I were an idiot. I told her I knew my apple ID and the new phone was not recognizing it. Two different times she stated "If you don't know your apple ID." I said I do know it. Her professional comment was "Do you want my help or not"? I've been in sales my whole career and I understand completely that I needed to talk to Apple, but this representative needs some training in how to treat clients who are experiencing an issue. There was no empathy, professionalism or respect for the client by this rep and she just escalated what could have been a very easy conversation.
Used Verizon Home Internet... it was ok most of the time. Try to cancel your contract and they make it impossible bordering on fraud... the online chat crashes when you get to the cancel stage (happened 3 times). You get to a phone person and they transfer you until the call drops. I've used many providers personally and for business but the way Verizon treats customers borders on fraud.
We switched from another carrier to Verizon and were told our final bill would be reimbursed with a prepaid visa. Except it has been almost a year now that we have been with Verizon and they still have not reimbursed us. Every document we sent for the submission requirements came back invalid 4 times. Finally I spoke to someone that was very helpful and I was told what to submit. Now I am being told that there won't be any reimbursement for my line because I exceeded the amount of my trade in value that was in the terms and conditions. Even though I was told by every representative I spoke to that we would be reimbursed. So now I owe $900 for both lines to our previous carrier, been sent to collections, and still owe Verizon my normal monthly bill.
Verizon does not stand by their word or promotions and it's all a scam.
Customer service is always terrible.
Repair options are not available unless protection plan is purchased which ends up being MORE than a new device anyway, so what's the point?
Don't bother with Verizon, switching back to previous carrier whose customer service and value are far better than Verizon anyway.
Where do I start here we go any ways. Verizon has got the worst company ever corporate does not even know what the stores are doing. Because the stores give you a line I meant a lie about you will get and holy crap you get the bill and corporate sticks it to you. So you spend half the going back and forth for what. Oh for the trick run around the daisy. If I could give Verizon a negative that what they deserve. I know nobody reads these so if I can give one person some advice get everything in writing because Verizon has ti be the worst mistake ever made for my new business account.
Answer: Go to My Verizon, click the 3 bars at lower right. In drop down menus hit contact us then schedule a call. They will call you about the time you scheduled a call-back.
