NON RETURN EQUIPMENT FEE
December 15, 2023

Be careful of Verizon return. Equipment Fee. Sorry to have to report them. 29 years with this company.
They scam customers out of money! They deny ever receiving equipment until you prove you sent back. Thankful I Got the receipt to prove I returned! $699.00 SCAM THEY WOULD Have MADE OFF ME IF I DID NOT KEEP RECEIPT.
I CALLED THEM YO CONFIRM THEY RECEIVED MY PGINE BACK 3 WEEKS AFTER SENDING CUSTOMER AGENT SAID YES WE HAVE IT. THEN 3 MONTHS LATER I GET A NON EQUIPMENT RETURN TEXT?
THIS COMPANY IS MAKING ALOT OF MONEY PRETENDING TGEY DONT GET TOUR PHONE BACK?
I AM REPORTING THEM TO BBB AND TELLING EVERYONE I KNOW TO BE CAREFUL!

NO COMPANY SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO DO THIS WITHOUT A FINE TO THEM. AFTER PROVING THEM TO BE LIARS WITH PRESENTING MY REFERENCING NUMBERS AFTER 3 MONTHS!
CAN YOU IMAGINE THE NIGHTMARE OF RETURNING A PHONE AND THE PRETEND NOT TO HAVE RECEIVED IT.
MAKING MONEY THE WRONG WAY VERIZON
SHAME ON YOU!
HOW MANY PEOPLE OUT THERE HAVE GONE THRU THIS SCAM?

5Gs. 1 star.
December 14, 2023

5G is trash. Fix It. Even with a brand new phone, I drop to SOS at least 3x a day regardless of my location.

Verizon Screwed up our bill and account every time we called, which at the end of a 20 year relationship was every month for 1-2 hours. Their customer service barely speaks english, and they continued to increase our bill every month despite telling us they had fixed it. Run away from this dishonest and horrible company. Wish we had left sooner. Switched to T-mobile and got better service and out bill decreased by $200 per month. I don't know how verizon expects to stay in business, shop elsewhere so you don't have to spend an hour a month on the phone straightening out your bill.

Verizon scheduled to come to our new apartment to set up internet access on a Monday. This was scheduled a week out. Two days before our appointment, Verizon cancels our appointment and says they cannot come out for another week. They provide 0 reason or justification for this issue. We work from home and have been left totally on our own because Verizon refuse to: Justify how a massive telecom company cannot spare 1 single technician to set up internet, allow us to set it up ourselves, offer any accommodation or even remorse for leaving us unable to work for a full week. If you ever have the option to take a provider other than Verizon, consider yourself lucky. They do give a crap about their customers. If I could give them lower than 1 star I gladly would. They're a disgrace.

Signed up for the 5G home box and was told it would be 38 a month. They lied and tried to charge me 275 dollars on my next bill plus 50 in taxes then I went to cancel because of it had to pay a 50 cancellation fee and they said I would get my bill adjusted back to normal. I did and then proceeded to not take it off my bill. When asking them to fix it they refused and gave me a 25 dollar credit and then raised my monthly bill 40 dollars and said I still owe them the 275 plus the 480 they raised my bill to as basically punishment for cancelling the 5G which is 480 dollars a year for nothing different. I'm done, was with Verizon for almost a decade and when I told them I would leave they didn't care. So bye bye! Don't use them they are liars and scammers.

The worst company ever! Charged me over $700 in hidden charges over the course of 9 months and refused to refund me. They finally gave me $100 after hanging up on me 4 times. Would not recommend this company to anybody. If you are someone that likes auto pay this is not the company for you. They are dishonest and scam you out of anything they can.

After being told that it would cost $30 to setup a replacement phone by the store in Mankato, Mn, the technician in Sioux Falls, SD (Marion and 26th Street graciously helped with the process at no charge. Wonderful store and so helpful and friendly! Take note Mankato. Mankato store wasn't busy….just didn't want to do it!

The prices are outrageous and they know it I have a friend that works for Verizon and he dropped Verizon and went in with T-Mobile and still work for Verizon. That tells you a lot.
When you call them they promise you the world when you go to the stores they promise you the world but once you sign in the world disappears, this company is all a big balll of crap. They claimed that they have the strongest 5G and they don't, I am a salesman and I travel all over and their 5G is not even strong as a T-Mobile but they still put it on TV with the map and when you go to the store they have a map there that they made it iall a big lie Morning. I phone 14 is the biggest loke on cell phones. If you travel stay away from old new apples cell phone.
Will be moving to T-Mobile today after 15 years with this lying company. See ya

I had Verizon wireless internet and service was slow and super unreliable.after paying last bill of 11.36 a month later they took out 216.00. I called 9-10 times to get money back and being on the phone over an hr each time. Was told several times that I was getting refund … after taking money out of my account I had checks written against my bank charged me 5 overdraft fees of 28.00 each and the last call on November 30 I spent 1:26 hrs on phone to get hung up on … I feel Verizon should not only give my money back but pay overdraft fees. 3 of the calls I was on the rep didn't know what an overdraft fee was

I went to Verizons web site tonight to change over to them and get new phones and iPads. I totally waisted well over a two hours there and came away totally Pi$$ED. I started a chat to make the change then after about 15 to 20 min the site said that the agent was no longer available, and that a new agent would be with me shortly. So then when the new person came on they knew nothing about what had been discussed withe the other agent. This happened a total of SIX times finally I decided that Verizon did not need my business and shut off my computer.

I switched from T-Mobile ro Verizon about 6 months to take advantage of my company's discount. That was a huge mistake. Not only do has the discount not taken affect trying ( and getting confirmation) after enrolling in it several times, the 5G coverage and service is terrible for the amount that I am paying for. I got better service for a cheaper price with T-mobile. I am definitely switching back to T-mobile. It is a much better value than what Verizon offers. Verizon may have been the better company 10 years ago but it has been eclipsed. It is now the 2nd if not 3rd best wireless company.

Black friday sale
November 25, 2023

Sounds great. 3 free phone, ipad and apple watches. Was told will pay just tax on phones $200 max, apple watches are 100% free, no extra charge and the ipad and it was definitely no more then $10 a month for dedicated line. Actual truth, Apple watch are free but each one will cost $10 per line with a 3 year commitment (extra$1,080). Tablet was $20 per line not $10 ( extra $360). Cost of phones $320 instead of $200 ( extra $120). Total extra cost that changed from what I was told is $1,560. The new cost were disclosed after are phones were transfered. So after being so exited about the deal, it was all just a lie and we didn't get the watches or Ipad. It was cheaper to just buy them. Keep in mind I did ask about all charges several times because it din't want to get there and it was different then what I was told.

I recently fell victim to a deceptive scheme by Verizon that advertised a "free" phone but turned out to be anything but a scam. Despite the initial promise of no-cost ownership, I've been consistently charged monthly bills, and attempts to refuse payment were met with threats of legal action. The advertised "free" phone was a bait-and-switch tactic, leading customers into a web of mandatory payments. The company's coercive strategy of threatening legal consequences, including potential lawsuits and additional court fees, left me feeling trapped and deceived. The lack of transparency and false advertising practices employed by this phone carrier is not only unethical but also potentially illegal. Consumers should be wary of such schemes, as they not only jeopardize their financial well-being but also create a sense of helplessness in dealing with these unscrupulous tactics. I strongly advise potential customers to thoroughly research and scrutinize any deals offered by Verizon or other phone carriers to avoid falling victim to similar scams. It's crucial to be aware of your rights as a consumer and seek assistance from consumer protection agencies if you find yourself entangled in such deceptive practices.

Disappointed
November 14, 2023

Been a customer over 4 years. I have a family plan with 5 lines. My phone has been due for an upgrade for almost a year. They won't let me upgrade to a new phone unless I pay 700 because they say I don't have enough credit now. Would like to have a phone that works for the holidays. Guess I'll be looking elsewhere.

Let me be clear... I tried Verizon as an experiment. A terrible choice. I have overpaid every step of the way. A 70-dollar plan is actually 80 after taxes, etc. Non-Corporate stores will tell you that you are getting an activation fee at the store, but it's really a setup fee. Therefore, on your next bill you will receive the actual activation fee. Sneaky $#!+. Then with the I-phones... They are sim locked for 60 days even if you buy the phone outright from the store. So that may be an Apple thing but if it's not communicated properly at purchase. You are technically stuck with Verizon for those 60 days if you get service along with the phone. Now for customer service. I spoke to maybe 5-6 different individuals so far only 2, one being a supervisor & the other being a chat tech support were clear about what was going on. To expand on that I contacted Verizon less than a month ago trying to figure out how to end my service on the day that I would be renewed on my service. I was informed that I could cancel it on that day & transfer my phone as well. Little did I know that I would be charged for another month & be forced to pay another bill. To be honest I wouldn't recommend this company even to an enemy... Top to bottom it's just a money pit waiting to trap you, but if you're into that kind of thing... Have fun.
