I've ordered several items from this company. Their return process is easy for full refunds. In addition if you need to speak with a live person, you can. Unlike other online companies. Also I wanted to add, they do let you order tops & bottoms separately, unlike other online companies. You can order the bikini tops in bra sizes which helps too! And they are always happy to accommodate their customers
I had to return 3 pair of pants because they ran too big. Venus has a new return policy called, "Happy Return Bar". Well I'm not happy at all. They charged me a $7.84 return fee plus a promotional shipping adjustment for $6.95. So for the pleasure of trying on their jeans they charged me $11.90. Last time I will be ordering from them. I don't want to do business with a merchant that is sneaky.
I have ordered several items from Venus but truly was disappointed when I had it returned and item that was crap. They actually charged me a restocking charge. This is the last time I will order from Venus. I don't believe that I should have to pay for restocking charge and also for the freight of $4.95. I hate pettiness and I'm truly through with Venus. I am cutting up their credit card

Prices are not in alignment with today's market. In addition, their credit card payment cutoff on the due date is 5:00 p.m. EST. That is way too early for those of us who work full-time. They only grant one waiver every 18 months and are unforgiving. This is absolutely unacceptable. I have been a customer for 20+ years and will not be shopping here much longer if this continues. Venus, you need to put the customer first. You used to do so and THAT is how you grew as a company. Get over yourself.

I started ordering from venus less than a year ago and LOVED them. Then all of a sudden the quality of their clothes just tanked. I keep returning orders and ordering new things thinking maybe I just picked a few bad items, but I can't seem to get anything with the quality of my first few purchases. Did they start outsourcing or change vendors or something? I do love their easy returns and venus wallet option.

Don't expect good quality fabric or craftsmanship. And I'd you don't like it or how it fits, you have to pay to ship it back. At least with Amazon or local stores you can return no charge.

I have ordered several things from Venus and very satisfied. I get sent links via email from them showing me items I might be interested in only when I click on the items... there is an X over my size! It seems every item I want to purchase is sold out. Very aggravating. How do you run a business if your most popular items and sizes are always sold out? I'm going to look for a womens clothing store that actually has stock to purchase from.

Jean zippers suck. I love everything else about Venus, but their jean zippers. Very cheap. I have one pair of jeans that I absolutley love, but the zipper is stuck in the down position & I cannot get it to budge. For having such well made clothes I wish they would install better zippers.

There swimsuits are decent for the most part... I have a hard time finding suits that fit my bottom correctly. There clothing on the other hand... I ordered a size 10 pant that fit perfectly in the thighs, which is where I'm largest, and the high waist band was meant for someone who is a size 4. I couldn't breathe and couldn't sit down without severe discomfort. I am not a "fat" person. I'm a little heavier but I workout regular and have a nice hour glass shape. There's no reason why a size 10 shouldn't have fit when every other pair of pants I have that size fit well or on the larger side. Pissed that I have to waste more shipping fees THIS IS MY THIRD EXCHANGE. I think I'm done with Venus.

I had to put my foot down on this one! I received a email about my refund and this additional charge 4.95 for "promotional shipping". I replied back to them and said I still would like the credit to my card. I told them I wasn't aware of this additional 4.95 for "promotional shipping" that they already got their 6.95 shipping charge out of my refund and that there might not be any additional shopping at Venus with the little 4.95 prom code they provided... to use later on a shipping order. (Like,... do you get my drift?) They was good to give me my credit back of 4.95 on my card but... why should anyone have to even ask?... I very rarely shop there because of their shipping rules.

I can't say I hate Venus, I've ordered from them quite a few times already. But I don't think I will order from them again. Some clothing comes in looking very different then the pictures, a lot of what I've gotten was cheaply made, for the price I paid. Skirts that looked mermaid style came in boxy shaped or A line. Clothing with corset detail that looks like silky ribbon comes in and is cheap string, or a cotton type ribbon you'd find a pajama set from Ardene's tied with. Sizing is off, I've ordered a few size 2 jeans and they came in too tight. Size small leggings and they came in too big. Ive gotten clothing I absolutely love though, like a Aztec fall jacket, And a white dress. I think it's worth checking out and looking around the site. If looking to buy check out the sale or clearance, before going for full priced items. I have never bought shoes so I cannot comment on that. Shipping is very expensive, you have to pay when your shipment hits the boarder (duty and taxes) Which will be a seperate charge from your original purchase.

I got referred to VENUS by my sister who is getting married next week and wanted one of their dresses to be worn on the big day. It was a last minute arrangement and the dress is my gift to her. I ordered the dress and since we are located in Canada chose their fastest (and most expensive) international delivery option, which promised the dress to be delivered in 1-3 business days, paid all the duties and taxes upfront. It's been 4 days already and the dress is nowhere close. According to the tracking information, it should be delivered by Tuesday (it's Friday today) and the wedding is on Wednesday. If they provided the accurate shipping info, we wouldn't have ordered from them and bought local instead. There were also issues with the processing the order and I had to call customer service twice first to clarify numerous attempts of charging my credit card and second to inquire about the delivery dates. Haven't seen the dress yet, but am very disappointed with the service. Love the styles, but will not order again.
UPDATE: the dress was received 6 business days after purchase. The dress was very nice, the size was right on and it arrived on time for the event. VENUS also offered an apology and issued a full refund for the delivery fee.

This company is affiliated with Swiss Colony. Ordered with both for years. One day I got Items Tooo big and sent them back to Venus. Both got upset and charged me 78.00 and put it on my Credit with Charge Off. I was upset. After all the times I paid my bill in Full they tried to Ruin my Credit. WRONG

I placed an order on April 11th at 9:44 pm for 5 items totaling over $200 and received a discount of $16 for the lowest priced item. Less than 12 hours after I placed order on April 12th, Venus offered two promotions, one for $25 e-certificate for $50 purchase or $50 off $200 or more. I am disappointed that this offer was not applied to my order. It was quickly shipped out and when I chatted tonight, the customer care agent, said sorry that only one offer can apply at any time and nothing can be done to give me the discount or e-certificate. Is this attitude really customer care service? Other merchants will apply discounts when another promotion takes place within one day minimum up to seven days.

Call first before ordering to see if they are going to have a promotion the next day that could be a better discount.

Ive been ordering from Venus for about 5 months now, Ive made roughly 4 orders, I have to agree with others that the quality of most of the items ordered is horrible and cheap looking, the sizing is WAY off, everything runs big, and the prices are super high. The only thing Ive ordered that is good material and fits well is the bathing suit. The clothes do not look like they are depicted in the magazine. I will try ordering a few more times to see if anything changes, otherwise Im done wasting time and money. Ive had an Express account for years and I can always count on their sizing and quality, yes sometimes you get something you dont like, but not as often as with Venus.

I always thought Venus clothes were absolutely beautiful. But my orders don't get processed and same for my pre-orders. I send request on chat about my items and all I heard was "its been delayed". Then a little time goes by and I'm requesting status again. This time I hear that my item is no longer. So I end up seeing like 3 of my prior orders showing canceled. When I see one of my orders selling and my size showing available. I am saddened by thier unprofessionalism and lack of customer service.
I occasionally shop on that site; one should browse through items for a long time because the clothes are way too "fancy" to my testing, or to be more precise- simply tasteless, with weird insets or cuts in the wrong places, or too much embellishments etc etc. Some items however are good. The quality depends... you should really read description carefully. I would say, the quality is somewhere between WMart and Target. What bothers me is that customer service. If you push the button "To Place An Order" -they'll be there for you from beginning to the end. But if it's about questions- good luck! They cut on you, even when you are already with representative, discussing your order status. It happened 4 times to me, so if you want them to stay with you, press 1 to participate in survey.
Also, they list back-ordered items as "shipped" in your order status ( which never happens with other companies) and I consider it misleading. I would never knew it but decided to check my orders online, since I was wondering where are items I ordered 3 months ago! VENUS, poor management! And you should do better training on people you hire. I am now questioning whether should I stop shopping here

I have to admit there have been complications with Venus in the past - in fact I stopped ordering from them because of it. Recently, I began buying from them (this summer), but am waiting for 4 orders - One is already lost in the mail! I talked with a supervisor this morning who told me she would call once she can track the item with Landmark... it's now the end of the day, doesn't look like it will be resolved soon. I will keep this site posted to let everyone know how they make good or if they lose what could be a terrific customer. (I love clothes and my husband likes what I have bought from Venus)... it's up to them at this point!

So, I have ordered a total of 3 times, all together I spent about 500 dollars on clothing from here. Most have been dresses and tops. Some were gifts for my daughters. Overall, the items look nice in the photos and for the most part they are okay, fit semi decent and look okay on me. My problem is the fabric is super thin and not the best quality, maybe that's why it's priced so well? I do like the clothing in general, colors and styles are okay but every little figure flaw is visible. I am a size 12-14 and never once in my life have I had to wear a body shaper with any other dress except for the ones I buy here. I guess we get what we pay for. The customer service and shipping has always been great.
Update, I just saw the photo option, I will add photos of me and some of my dresses from Venus including the light pink see through one which I cannot wear as it is extremely see through. The photos of me wearing the other 2 dresses, I have nothing bad to say. A little think but still wearable.
I have ordered clothing from Venus quit a few times and I really like the quality and fit but there is one problem with ordering from Venus and that is their return items policy, if something doesn't fit or you decide you do not like the item, it costs more than the actual clothing to return it to USA. I would have regular orders but refuse to pay more than double if I need to exchange or return something. I called Venus to ask for free return but the agent said it would take up to 2 weeks for them to send me a returns sticker which of course I did not ever receive.
Please Venus clean this up and I will be a customer again

I couldn't find anywhere on the site to leave a review. My first time ordering and the clothes look cute online and seem to have good reviews online. Two of the three dresses i ordered were super cheap fabric. One dress i could see through it, it was so thin. Definitely was not worth $39. Target has better quality for that price. I kept one dress ( i had to regardless since it was a final sale) but luckily it was the best of the bunch. Probably wouldn't order again. Based on reviews, now I'm afraid of my return. Hopefully it goes through smoothly.
