I have dealing Valore each time i need a textbook. They have been forthcoming and reliable so far. Communication had been good and hope they continue the good job.
Renting books from this website was easy, fast and affordable. I had to get books from my collegue courses and I saved hundreds of dollars on this website
East site to maneuver. Cheap rentals. Great service. This has been a blessing to be able to get my books at a considerable discount. Keep up the good work. Thank you Thank you Thank you
I always use Valore when I need to rent a textbook. The shipping is always decently priced, and today Valore had the lowest price for the textbook I needed!
Everyone was so helpful, and my book was cheap and came fast. Thank you so much for all your help. I was so stressed i wouldn't find this book for cheap, but I did
I couldn't believe what the price was for the book, I almost fell over. This is my second time using ValoreBooks. I rented my book the first time. I truly appreciate the company.
Valore Books is always my go-to for college textbook rentals. They always have the lowest prices, they ship fast, and returning books is always free. Thanks Valore Books!
DO NOT USE Valore Books! But if you did, file a Better Business Bureau complaint right away! After 4 months of trying to get Valore Books to send my check for the books I sent them in December, I finally just received my money and I think the only reason they responded was due to the BBB Complaint I filed in February. They kept saying the check was lost or undeliverable so finally had them send it with a tracking number and at last, I have my money - absolutely terrible customer service!
This site is a very handy tool and it's resonable especially if you are a student such as myself I would recomend this site to anyone that's in need of cheap and resonable books
You should not expect your customers to have to use Autofill options. And you should not expect your customers to write a minimum of 100 characters for feedback.
I ordered a book 10 days ago and it was not until I checked on its status that I learned that the order was cancelled. I've had several communiques from Valore Books, just not about my order.
I rented and paid for a text book from Valorebooks. After waiting 14 days for it, I sent them an email. They replied that it hadn't been 14 BUSINESS days. I never did receive the textbook!
Great service and quality of books for AMAZING prices.
I have never had issues and have rented or bought my books here through my entire college career.
I sold a textbook to this company which operates online as Valorebooks.com and also as College Marketplace, and I was unable to cash the check they issued me. That sends up a red flag right away. So I called them to ask for my payment to be sent through paypal instead since the check was useless. The people who answer calls are very nice, but they are home based so they actually do not have any supervisors they can transfer a customer to, so all they can do is take your info and pass it along. After 2 weeks of calling and leaving messages with customer service, someone named Edmond finally called me back on Feb 3rd. He said he would attempt the paypal payment and call me within 2 days to let me know. I never heard from him. I called him 3 times after that and left him voicemails to which he never replied. Several more calls to customer service and leaving my information for a supervisor to call me back resulted in nothing. I finally filed a complaint with the BBB on Fed 26th and they finally issued me a paypal payment today, March 3rd. I will never use this company again. The only reason they finally paid me was because I contacted the BBB! They have total disregard for their customers.
I've never had this many issues with a checkout form in my life. First it wouldn't let me enter info for city, zip code, and state. So I just put those in address line 1 figuring eh they'll figure it out. Well duh, can't do that, "please enter city, zip code, and state" well, the boxes are grayed out and I can't enter anything in them, soooo no.
Figured out you have to right click reload the page (refresh didn't work) over and over and over and over again until finally it lets you fill in those boxes. Sweet, now we're getting somewhere.
Wrong again, now I need to enter and confirm my email address even though I already did that, I can see my email address freshly typed on both lines. Here we are back to square one, reload, reload, reload, reload, slowly type and click with military precision, everything looks good, nothing telling me I'm missing info, and now the "place order" button decides it is no longer a link, it's just a picture. It doesn't do anything. Am I on a fake site? Is my credit card information going straight to some stranger in china?
About 25 minutes later the stars aligned and I finally got the order placed by just reloading and trying again over and over until everything worked. You're lucky I'm broke and have no choice but to buy cheap books on this garbage site.
Finding the book was easy and the prices took a little bit of the sting out of college exoenses! Thank you Valore books for making books available to rent.
I placed the order for the book I needed 2 days before the start of the semester. I logged in 3 days after I placed the order to check the status and it said "cancelled". I freaked out. When I contacted the renter they told me the order had never been sent to them from ValoreBooks. I contacted ValoreBooks and all they were able to tell me was that "sometimes the verification system cancelled orders". The customer service rep at ValoreBooks offered me the option to order again and she would make sure the order went through. I did and she did. She was also able to reimburse me the different for the expedited shipping. That was a nice thing to do, but it got me thinking... luckily I had another $40 to spare and was given a pardon by my professor. Not all students are in the same situation. Nonetheless, I will be getting the refund for the first order in 2-7 days. I would've appreciated a message from ValoreBooks notifying me that the order had been cancelled.
Moral of the story: Check to make sure your order wasn't cancelled by the ValoreBooks verification system, because they won't notify you.
I'm sorry to hear that your books could not be delivered to you. ValoreBooks regrets that we could not help fulfill your order at this time. Please know that we value your business and hope you don’t take your experience with one seller as a reflection of the ValoreBooks Marketplace as a whole. We will continue to do our best to make sure that our sellers' inventories are as up-to-date as possible on our site.
From ny to boston it takes an entire month turn around time to get money back out of these people. Find a local place, the prices would be the same and you get your $ back immediatly. NO. IDEA WHY IT TAKES SO FRIGGIN LONG TO MAIL A CHECK BACK. Seriously one month! It takes 6 hours to drive from ny to boston! Why does it take a month to get money back from these monkeys? DO NOT BOTHER, PLEASE FIND A LOCAL PLACE AND DRIVE THERE YOURSELF do not give these monkeys your business or you will be hasseling them every step of the way to get anything back in your end!
Our apologies for the wait! We do appreciate your feedback and will take your experience as motivation for future improvements!
Easy to use interface great prices great quality! Always can expect a great product. Would definitely reccomend this website to anyone. Found it using bookscouter which is a great tool as well
This website is very convenient when it comes to looking for the books I need for school and I am very happy that I was able to get them very cheap here.
Answer: DONT DO IT! This place is shady with business. They may or may not send you the products or even your money. It seems like a great website with great reviews, but dont be fooled
