I had problems right from the start from my credit card not being accepted on the site ( other sites ok) When finally downloaded, the activation code didn't work. Tech support took over and finally got things going, then proceeded to clean up some malware issues on the computer. Mary, the tech, was very helpful. I was surprised that I had to purchase an additional product in order to complete cleanup as I thought the Kapersky product would accomplish this

Checking viruses
August 12, 2017

Had ordered virus protection from Bitdefender online. They transferred me to US Global Tech to scan viruses and clean computer. Told them several times I wanted the one time charge of $99.95 and they kept pushing me for the $200+ plans which annoyed me. Then I get a tech who literally sounded pissed off when I couldn't figure out his instructions to log in so he could access my computer - this involved deep breathing sighs every time I tried. Long story short he was on my computer about 2 hours. After I had paid the $99.95 originally - they charged it twice. Capital One alerted me for fraud. Told me to take my MAC in am to Apple Store to see if any malware added. They have been seeing a LOT of this lately. They were not only rude but dishonest. I will report back after Apple checks my computer tomorrow. I will NEVER let anyone else online touch my computers again. Had to cancel credit card per Capital One.

PRINCESS WAS VERY PATIENT AND ARDENT IN HELPING ME THROUGH A VERY LONG RECOVERY PROCESS IT WAS MUCH APPRECIATED AND MY COMPUTER HAS NEVER RUN BETTER THAN NOW. NO POPUPS OF ANY KIND. THANK GOD.

Very time consuming but seems okay now. O thought the protection we had to install was already part of the McAfee services. Not a computer person, so not sure what the difference is in some of the possible viruses and how they can get into your system. Seems like the ad blocker feature should be more effective against third party violatioons.

After requesting assistance for my wireless printer, I was informed by the manufacturer that I actually had a computer problem that needed fixing in order to remedy my printer issue. That is how Global Tech came into play. With all the fraudulent internet activity, I was apprehensive about proceeding, but the way the tech professionally explained and showed me the problem and remotely fixed it dismissed all fears! I would definitely use Global Tech in the future and highly recommend their services.

Contacted Global Tech for an infected MacBook
Mary did a remote session into the laptop and cleaned out all infected files
Cleaned the registry and brought the MacBook back to normal operation.
