For an appliance company to deliver to curb side I completely unacceptable. Appliances should always be brought inside the house. Because of this reason, I spent $6k on kitchen appliances with another company that delivered the appliances into the house at no extra charge.

I am a house flipper and the last 2 kitchen packages I purchased from US appliance I have had issues with appliances being damaged thus causing my rehabs to continue on longer than need be. While the service was good getting parts replaced, shipped, etc all the extra time and work is beginning to out weigh the saving $100-$200 from buying from a local store.

I purchased a 4-piece Fridgidaire kitchen appliance set (fridge, oven, OTR microwave, and dishwasher). The order was delivered timely, however, it was delivered to a place that was being fixed up, and as such, the appliances remained on their pallettes, in their packaging, for 3-4 days. When we opened the package, everything was fine, except the fridge - it had scratches and dents on both doors, and a couple of large dents on the side.

Upon bringing this up to them, I was told I had 24 hours to report any issues. I explained the situation and they said they would work with me. After lots of back and forth I was told I could have one free replacement door, or they would replace the whole unit for $240. Eventually, Lynn, the customer service agent, was kind enough to ship me both doors at no cost instead of just one.

Regardless, I still have the dents on the side of the fridge, and they are visible with the fridge installed. It's frustrating for the customer (and unethical for the company) to take full price for something and then have a damaged item delivered with absolutely no available recourse.

While the pricing and delivery timeframes were fantastic, I'd rather pay a little more next time to a company that takes care of its customers instead of the bottom line.
