“Fantastic payment gateway!”

Upclick has been the only payment processor so far that has increased my conversion rates to date. Their platform is easy-to-use and allows my customers to process payments however they like. Would certainly recommend this platform!

Verified purchase

I bought Print Master Gold 25 from Avanquest Software on my laptop. Paid with debit card. Download button on e-mail kept saying loading uclick, but it didn't work. There was no support option to use. Eventually I found a pop up saying not to give this site any personal information because it could be stolen. I immediately called my bank and canceled my debit card (again...when will I learn). I don't care about the $40, I just don't want my bank account compromised.

I unfortunately had these guys take over payments for the anti virus company that I have used for over 15 years.
They double billed me, promised to correct the problem but never have.
I wish I could give them less than 1 star, they aren't even close to that good.
By the way, they disguise themselves as at least 3 different companies that I have been able to find,
Upclick, buysoftwre, and another name I can't find right now.
Stay away, very far away.

- On one side they force the staff to convince clients to subscribe to a maintenance package after remotely faking issues on their computers
- on the other side, they scam people with sketchy renewal fees combined to the most none-efficient customer care on eath

- AVOID AT ALL cost, scam for staff and for clients!

Do NOT do business with this site. Not only did I not get the full items I ordered (back up disc) a year later they charged me an annual fee that was not described in the original purchase agreement. Equaled the original purchase price. Got screwed. PayPal will not reverse the charge. STAY AWAY

Tip for consumers:
Don't buy anything through this site. It is a third party billing agent with questionable ethics.

Products used:
InPixo Pro. Photo editing soft wear. They will not respond to any complaints claiming this is a third party seller. However they do a large portion of their business through them.

Bill for supposed or alleged automatic renewal - did not request nor was giving the opportunity to affirm or deny said renewal and it was for a "software purchase" not a yearly renewal contract when originally purchased. So far have refused to answer questions, provide billing agreement or information. In fact, won't even answer emails. Wish I could give them a zero for customer service.

I purchased a software program and paid via this company, straight away I had issues with the activation code, they gave me a new code but everytime I restarted the program it told me it was the trial version and needed a code, I contacted CS and have been communicating with them ever since and they told me the problem with the codes would be sorted with an update or new program release, they did a partial refund of £6, they did not tell me a updated version had been released, I only found out by accident, I tried to enter the code and got "Activation Overun" whatever that means they had been telling me my phone number was not available, they have been overloaded with work, etc etc. I gave a landline number for them to ring and times as requested and guess what "NO ONE CALLED" so if you see a payment method of UPCLICK, then avoid it like the plague... I have every message that went between us to prove the above and will be claiming the money back through PayPal etc or my Bank.
So I am not

I ordered (thinking it was free software initially then it was $30 something). I ended having my credit card charged $73.63. I called within 5 minutes and after someone tried to continue to sell me on a lower refund and i continued to ask for a supervisor they finally said they would refund the $73.63. They sent me an email confirming saying it could take 10 days. Its now been three weeks. Do not do business wirh this co.

I have had the WORST ONLINE EXPERIENCE EVER WITH THESE THIEVES. I bought poorly engineered software from InPixio and received three more 'almost too good to be true' offers in succession about their other products - so I bought them without really realizing they were not also from InPixio but were being sold by UPCLICK - and all of them - the one from InPixio direct as well as the three through InPixio stopped working after about a month. InPixio was quick to refund my money - not so with UPCLICK who forced me to file with credit card companies and PayPal to get refunds - NEVER BUY FROM UPCLICK!

Can't figure out how they slammed me into in $84.00/year subscription fee. Nobody picks up their 800-line to answer questions or get you out of their system,

They appear to be the source or, at least a participant, in a scam to collect unauthorized "subscription" fees for sub-standard products.

Tip for consumers:
If you you receive notices from Upclick, notify your card company quickly to prevent them from charging fees you did not agree to pay to your credit card.

UpClick provides payment services (collection of online payments and related features, such as local-language translation and interfacing with various payment sources) for various companies worldwide. Their corporate headquarters are in Malta; the only North American office was (at time of review) in Montreal, Canada. Website reviews of UpClick indicate that it cannot be trusted; for example, WOT (as reported by the review website EasyCounter) has Trustworthiness: Poor.

I first encountered UpClick when a friend I'll call "Bill" got one of those terrrifying pop-up messages warning him that serious errors had been detected on his hard drive, and that he MUST download and execute a fix-it app IMMEDIATELY. Bill was also instructed to telephone an 885- number, which he did. This led to the installation of an app called Advanced Mac Cleaner for $60 (less a nickel), charged to his PayPal account and paid to UpClick. Not only that, but a (purported) Service Tech at the 885- number talked Bill into granting him online access to Bill's computer, and as the Tech began to rummage around in it, he warned Bill not to interfere in any way, or the hard drive might be fatally damaged.

Then the Service Tech told Bill that PayPal was down, and that Bill would have to provide a credit card for the remaining charges, a demand which made him suspicious enough to get in touch with me. I told him to power-off his computer immediately, hang up the phone, and not to answer when the Service Tech called him back (which he did, twice).

A little research on the Internet turned up the information that Advanced Mac Cleaner is actually malware, designed to keep the mark paying for additional clean-up services. With some help from Apple Support, we were able to remove this item, as well as the malware that had produced the pop-up warning message. Later, we discovered that a pair of ongoing automatic payments to UpClick, one for $9.95 and another for $19.95, to be made every six months, had been posted to Bills PayPal Profile, payments which we immediately cancelled.

Despite that warning of fatal errors, Bills hard drive seemed to be OK after the computer was powered-off, restarted, and cleaned. We don't know, however, what information may have been extracted as the Service Tech was accessing his hard drive, or what data may have been damaged or altered.

Whether UpClick itself is a scam organization, or only a few of its employees run scams via company resources, is impossible to determine. In any case, UpClick is not trustworthy. Do not do business with this company!
