Well, we bought a Samsung galaxy fold 3, it came without the protective inside screen cover and had a small damaged area on the fold
They insisted 'we' had removed the cover and refused the return. Pretty disgraceful really and will not use again.
The store we took it to said it should never have been sold in the first place as there was a damaged area near the fold, so it will probably fail at some point
I hate how the robbing bastards charge you a delivery fee for each individual item brought online even when you buy them at the same time.
We bought a monitor and it developed a fault with the screen while under warranty and cex refused to fix it claiming it must of been damaged in store they claimed it must of been dropped yet now say it could be a number of things funny thing is they claimed they had checked it yet can not tell us exactly what is wrong with it so clearly hasn't been checked there just using the excuse its been damaged to avoid having to honor the warranty total rip off merchants
What are u supposed to do when u got no money and the only way to get money is to sell ur items when all they give u is 1p 10p and sell it for 10 pounds u r a bunch of scammers scamming desperate people

The controller lead missing.they give you nothing for your items £59 for a playstation 4 and the second hand games are more expensive then Amazon brand new.insulting people go somewhere else most of there stuff have faults
I purchased a Camera from Cex and was really Happy... Until 3 weeks later I tried to sell the lens of the camera back to Cex as I've upgraded the lens for a better one. I took the lens to the Mansfield store who told me the lens is no good and has old dust in it? I explained to the sales assistant that I purchased the lens from yourselves 3 weeks ago? How can it have old dust when you have sold it to me as good, They said I have to contact online to sort this... I have been told I'm past my 14 days of returning the product although it's obviously not my fault! They have refused to take the lens back or refund me? What a con! Avoid at all cost. I just hope the camera isn't also a dudd because the Guarantees are not worth anything. Order *******
Slowly got worse until the point were they don't Evan book stuff onto the system a few quid off every time you sell something
I bought an refurbished iPone 12, it arrived very quickly and looked in perfect condition till I tried to use it, calls went straight to voice mail, texts, and WhatsApp no notifications, I was told it was a system error problem, so they refunded me, payment came back quickly, so I bought an iPhone 11, guess what? The same as the iPhone 12 so I have been without a mobile phone for 2 weeks now. I questioned do you check the phones before sending them out? I was told "No, we check them when they arrive" I won't be wasting my time with them again, refurbished my foot, it seems they receive a phone and just sell it straight on, if it was refurbished they would know there was a problem wouldn't they
Do not use CEX, they scam you out of your money. I bought my mum an Apple Watch for her birthday to only have it turn up locked to someone else's account, breaching GDPR law and I'm being refused a refund or replacement! Absolutely disgusting and money wasted! DO NOT RECOMMEND.
I purchased a Garmmin watch. Unfortunately the watch sent was faulty and i asked for a replacement. They weren't able to supply one, so i asked for a refund. They insist that they have to carry out checks first, which is understandable. 10 days after receiving it they have still not reimbursed me. Just 2 minutes will tell anyone it's faulty. I'm left £250 out of pocket, this service is shocking and not acceptable. I'm now having to contact trading standards to chase my refund
First and LAST time I will be using CEX
Paid for Tab S3 + pen online, website claimed Tab S3 to be in stock at time of purchase, 4 days later got email No Tab S3 in Stock.
Still sending me a Tab S3 pen which is pointless because they haven't supplied the actual Tab S3 I paid for
Up to another 10 days for refund to be realised into bank account
Complete waste of my time and money dealing with CEX
I wanted to sell my Xbox Series X console and they rejected it, because of a faulty HDMI port. They sent it back to me and I plugged the console in to see if that was true. Well it ain't true, the Xbox displayed perfectly on my TV. Nothing is faulty with the HDMI port and I payed special delivery to get it to them. This is really annoying and I just wanted to warn people about wasting your time and money.
I took 1 train to Liverpool street station the Elisabeth line to Whitechapel station. Cex is just next to exit of the tube.
I do know that they have a minidisplayport to hdmi adapter in stock is still available for collection.

Forget the shops buy online!7
Now tried contacting CEX on numerous occasions and it seems not an ounce of give a £#!@ was given. Parcel not turned up after 2 weeks and after sending emails and filling out online forms still no joy, I think I'm dealing with bots rather than real people. All I want is my money back for an item I haven't received, not much to ask.

Honestly friendly staff but sometimes they can come off as rude, lazy and unprofessional. But the company self has its negative side. Where their prices are ridiculous expensive and over the top eBay prices which no one can afford.
Manager at CEX Islington, very unhelpful and lacked empathy. I've bought many mobiles from Streatham and Brixton branches, where staff have been very helpful and offered to assist me in transferring all my data to my new mobile. This manager refused to help me. I could not buy the mobile phone I wanted a Samsung S22 plus because he told me that I would lose everything from my old mobile once he wipes it back to its factory settings. All I wanted wS a bit of help to transfer to the new phone. Very unhelpful. I could not buy the mobile because of this. No advice offered. No support offered.
Purchased a folding phone form them (thought the Fold 4 would have sorted the early issues). After 51 days the inner screen developed an issue and the fold bled. I returned the phone to CEX but as the screen turned on although not useable they have refused to cover it under their warranty, citing accidental damage. Don't buy a foldable for them they don't cover it, they are aware of issues with the internal screen and deem any problems to be down to excessive folding (folding is what the phone is designed for!) which is an accidental damage issue. I now own a £1000 brick. Despite this CEX continue to sell them and will continue to do so, great ethics! Thanks CEX after many years of loyal custom I won't be using you ever again.
I sold an Apple Watch to them and they were strong on the fact it was a grade b despite the fact it was practically new. This was in the Birkenhead store. 2 months later I had an iPhone 14 pro 1tb just 2 months old and straight from the box it went into a phone case. I went to trade this in(I checked online before hand as a test for them mugging people off) they had non in stock. I took mine instore. No marks, absolute prestige condition, some sort gathered up around where the case had been and they told me it was grade b. I disagreed and told them it was grade A and they wouldn't budge despite requesting the phone to remove the marks as like stated they were just dirt. I sold it anyway and checked not 2 hours later and they had 1 In stock graded A. Absolute criminals.
Recently purchased a 2nd or 3rd or even 4th hand Samsung tablet, maybe even more, from cex Paisley for £55. Needed one to pass the time in my taxi between hires. After working throughout the Christmas and New Year period, I decided to download some tv apps for something to watch. Unable to download BBC iPlayer, Netflix and even YouTube. Went back with the device, only to be told that they don't do refunds. They will of course buy it back, but at a much reduced price. Before this happened, they did eventually admit that the device was not compatible with those apps. I was offered £25, £30 less than I paid for it 2 weeks earlier. I just took the money and walked out disgusted with them and their attitude. Please please don't buy any electronic equipment from them, there's no going back.
Answer: Go to resolver.co.uk and make a complaint against CeX, they will take it more seriously
Answer: B grade should mean operational but will have visible signs of use, I would avoid and buy on ebay probably get a nearly new one that hasn't been through the hands of muppits
Answer: Unlocked simply tells you whether or not a product is open to all networks or locked to a specific one. For example, if a product states EE/Virgin/3 then it will be locked to that specific network, if however it says unlocked or any network you are able to put any service provider into that product. The A and B seen in the product description is a way pf grading the phone and stating what condition it is considered to be in. A grade is the best grade possible for a phone/table/laptop/camera. This means that it should be immaculate and have all of its original accessories. B grade is considered used and may have some general wear and tear marks, which will not affect the usage pf the product. It may not have its original accessories but will come with anything that is required to allow use the product properly.
