Only relatives I found were those related to me by marriage. One individual was not even associated with use in any way. Don't waste your money or time!

TruthFinder.com is a deceptive fraud and a rip-off. It is an online site that purports to do background checks on individuals or companies-- if you provide a full name. I tried the site to look up information about a cleaning company that did some work at our offices. Using one of the owners' names, I submitted it to TruthFinder.com. Be forewarned, you must provide your email address to conduct a search.
The background check seemed to be humming along, posting pop-up messages every few seconds to encourage me into thinking the process was ongoing, saying things like: "checking her criminal records," "checking her tax records," "checking her social media accounts," "checking her property records," "checking lawsuits filed against her," "checking contact information."
It even posted a pop-up message stating that "her name appears on government watch list." I was intrigued. But as this 'checking' process takes several minutes, I started looking up information about truthfinder.com online and saw that they charge $46 a month for a simple background check. I closed out of the TruthFinder.com search window, effectively ending the inquiry, or so I thought.

I received an email about 5 minutes later stating that my search results were ready for only $14. Well, I admit to being an idiot and I took the bait. I was curious about what 'government watch list' the name had appeared on. So I paid the fee and received another email with a link to the so called 'results,' which had another set of pop-up messages, to lure me back in.
It was nothing!
The TruthFinder.com 'search results' didn't have a place of employment to go with the name I provided. (And I had that.) There was no criminal record, no tax information, no property information, no contact information (no email or phone number - which I already had). No social media pages (no Twitter, IG, Snapchat or IG). No online presence (despite this company having a website!). And guess what else? No information whatsoever to indicate this name appeared on any government watch list — anywhere.

I realize now that all those 'pop-up messages' were designed to make me think something salacious was being discovered and to keep me hooked.
In the end, it was very disappointing and a complete rip-off, which is why I'm filing a complaint with the BBB.

Basically, you just have to give them a little bit of information and they do everything else they prepare a full report with all kind of details about the person or persons you're trying to locate a reunite with whatever the case may be, but it's taken care of by them for you I guess I should just say that they know their stuff and how to find it for us the customer I'm very satisfied, and I plan to stay with them, or come back to them anytime I need questions answered or if I need to reunite with a friend or family member like I said, whatever your case may be, they know what to do and how to help you even if it's to reveal a liar in your life, lol truth finder is professional, knowledgeable, and resourceful.

Allowed me to find adults who "associate" themselves to my teenage daughter falsely and inappropriately. Thank you truthfunder for helping me keep my daughter safe.

Scam, someone who hates you can put tabs on you from the government. What a same ruin your lifetime.

Have used truthfinder and verified and all the others. Periodically through the years. I signed up for a monthly subscription to truthfinder pulled a couple of reports on friends and family and then myself I've never been so shocked in my life they've got 81 events in my timeline and 60 of them Plus are duplicates repeated in different places in the timeline making it look like I've got over 60 charges arrest etc. I've called their center customer service told me you have to email him she couldn't help me. I emailed them the only response I got was the automated one it says thanks for contacting us could you fill out the survey. So I did that also I've got zero response from them the report is ruining my life at the moment and a short time of a month and a half I've lost my job lost my house had to move out of town as I had x amount of people thinking I was some kind of monster. I've explained all this to truthfinder and I don't even get a response. I have contacted the BBB and I'm writing this review and I'm just going to keep going. I don't know where they get their information if somebody can just call in and tell him a bunch of bolognesh. And I just post it or if it's the person putting the stuff on the side itself and they need to get fired then I've never seen a report like mine looks ever I can look up Charles Manson and his reports smaller than mine.

Would recommend to anyone that want to learn more about their spouse… and was very easy to use the price was higher that I would have liked

It seems fine when I joined. I have yet to see the final report so it seems odd that I am asked to create a review, now.

I've moved to a new, unfamiliar area, and I use TruthFinder to look up neighbors and people here. TF helps me get some insight into - or verify - their backgrounds and status (like age). Actual birthdates of people seem to have disappeared, so I'm unhappy about that.

A total rip-off. There was no information provided that can't be found online for free. There is a sucker born every minute and I was certainly one for believing TruthFinder would be better than unpaid information. AVOID!

Company I have contact them 5 different times to stop sending message. I get an average of 10 to 15 a day. This last weekend I got about 30 40 message. You can't block them you can't stop them coming and coh ming. I have never hated a service but this one is top of my list. I am contacting my attorney for this to stop. So watch out if you look for information.

I found a stepsister that I had lost contact with for more than 30 years! I had looked on other websites that had no information at all. I have been looking for years and Truthfinder helped me out immensely!
