This website should be illegal! My personal info does not need to be up for sale. It's in violation of my rights and privacy and I do NOT consent to my personal info being publicly for sale!
I was in a rush today and needed to quickly look up someone's address so that I could mail them a letter, so I found TruthFinder and I decided to try it out. I waited 10 minutes for it to access the report, and when it finally said it had collected all the necessary data (all I needed was the address), it required that I pay before seeing the report. Ultimately, this was a waste of time, and unless you are willing to pay $27.78/month to view it, don't make the same mistake I did.

They are running a Scam. I signed up for 30 days. The report itself was garbage but ok... buyers beware. But then they kept charging me on my credit card for 2 months after that. When you call customer service, they put you on hold indefinitely with a message 'all our reps are busy..." and when i contacted them by email, i got a message that due to Covid, they are 2 months behind in email responses. How convenient? I wonder how they get away with it. Its pure scam and an opportunity for a good class action suit for a law firm. I googled the owner and he has started 50+ companies in the last 5 years, all of them are similar. (Bait the consumers to sign up with false statements and keep charging them without their consent.)

Ran two background checks. Problems include missing information from public records, wrong information, and not very up to date in one instance. Attempted to run a reverse phone check and it showed a phone location and service company but that I had to pay a fee to get the information. I tried to cancel so they said get all these extras for only $10.99/month and I thought I'd try it. ONE month. Ran that number again and it said it couldn't find anything on that number even though before I paid EXTRA to get it, it said there was information. This is not worth it. Keep looking for a reliable source or just hire someone to do it who can do the job. This is ridiculous.

I simply put in my info on my father's name & location, and I guess some info to reach me, and constantly I am getting their message pop-ups pushing me to purchase! After days of this, I emailed their customer service to STOP. It still continues! I wouldn't touch this service ever again!

I was trying to find my brother who hasn't been heard from in a long time. There was very limited information and the information from his past was incorrect. I proceeded to look up everyone in my immediate family and all of our information was incorrect as well.

Another rip-off company trying to steal a person's hard-earned money. It's good thing we can go to other websites to see how these people are cheating it's customers the same way the customer is on their website to find a cheater. We cancelled our subscription after realizing that the friends we were trying to locate were still listed as living at a certain address, when in fact, the couple had passed away in late 2018.

They give old, non-current info. Listed 10 year old crap as current address, city, etc. I happened to at least know the person lived currently in my city!

I subscribed, looked at my information, and most of it was inaccurate. I called to deactivate and got a deactivation number. They then refused to do anything about an incorrect charge made after deactivation. What followed was literally hours and days of emails and phone calls. They claimed they could not find my "profile". I finally had to dispute the charge with my credit card company and block them from any further charges. If you need the truth about some one, look somewhere else!

. Rate zero! They didn't even give me info I have, birth, where he lived, his parents, his marriage certificate and census papers. I gave them this info and they came back saying his WIFE was a POSSIBLE RELATIVE. They refused to give my money back. They relented and said they would give me half back. We will see. How disgusting.

Its a total scam, they charge you money claiming they will find info for you then post fake things to make you curious to know more about the person you search for, until you pay and find out all the info was taken from public profiles that the person himself has already published everywhere online.
I searched for a person they gave me his linkedin profile that was already public and his facebook and some old crap things that he had already published or interacted with people online.

I recently tried looking up someone by name and found the information matched with legal description I already had, however the persons listing real estate agent notified me she had died. Now, "Truthfinder" is harrassing me on my computer screen eachtime I sign on with large pop ups, that will not go away unless I pull them off the screen, then it comes right back. There is NO DELETE icon that they have for me to delete the harasment add. I have called the company and complained but nothing changed. I have been dealing with this since January 2020. I Am Sick and Tired of their Harassment!

Nowhere can you find information concerning costs on the home page or tabs. As you're navigating thru the process, you begin to think that this will probably cost something. I'm thinking $3-$4 bucks for a single search. Only after you've invested 12-15 minutes of your time do they reveal that it will be $27.00 for a report. A total scam!
