Great site for getting started in the world of the so-called Hackintosh. This is a "hacking" movement whereby you modify hardware and Mac OS X so that you can get Apple's flagship OS running on non-Apple hardware. Some people also create their own virtual Hackintoshes on Macs themselves by using virtualization software so it's not purely a "clone" only movement. Note: Some in the Hackintosh community disagree with tonymacx86 because they believe he is a commercial enterprise since he solicits donations and sells software. I leave it up to you to pass judgement on that front if you're so inclined. The information and software that this site provides is amazing. He's taken a mishmash of coding projects and combined them into easy-to-use packages.

I heard about this guy being the one who commercialized this after being kicked out of the original crew. But the lack of rules enforcement, privacy breaches and disregard to vet claims and defamation of character on there site shows the true colors. My advice there are plenty of other honest and better places to get your info from, especially the real deal insanelymac.
