While those who are blessed to actually have this equipment delivered in a timely manner may give stellar reviews the rest of us are still waiting for said equipment. You pay an exorbitant amount for installation yet cannot actually contact their third party vendor Ryder in the event there are scheduling issues -I. è, needing more time for a contractor to make sure your space meets tonal specifications- Tonal cannot seem to reach them either. It sounds like they are having issues fulfilling orders ergo giving the runaround on installation/Delivery. If you are good with shelling out $500 for equipment and services that you don't have and not know definitively of equipment arrival then this product could work for you.

Between them and Ryder -- no one actually cares enough to give a response.
Even if you DO get a "install date" doesn't actually MEAN anything as theres a chance you still won't get it installed.

So buyer beware -- if you order, you may wait... for NOTHING.

I purchased a Tonal in April and received toward the end of May or beginning of June. I immediately selected a program and started using my Tonal. My experience since has been nothing short of incredible. I worked out with a personal trainer for months and purchased a Peloton Tread, the workout I get on the Tonal is better than those two combined. I can push myself, but still feel safe that I'm not overdoing it because of Tonal's smart technology. I enjoy the trainers and the bits of information and stories they sprinkle throughout their programs. I reached out to service once and their response was quick and very thorough. I can't say enough good things about this machine and I'm excited for more people to jump on the bandwagon and try it!

I could have never imagined how truly transformative a product like Tonal could be for me as I was researching it early on. I didn't think it was possible to get an at-home connected gym that truly provided a full body experience. But all of that uncertainty went completely away after doing the initial strength assessment. This is absolutely the real deal.

There are MANY things to love, so I'll touch upon a few that come to mind when I think of Tonal as a whole.

The device itself is very well built and allows for a variety of different movements. The built in library of movements includes nearly 150 guided moves, but it also allows you to position the arms in any way you want (and perform a move NOT in the built in library of moves) -- The screen is massive and really lends itself well to view the coach and receive feedback

The technology behind the hardware is incredible. Tonal will very quickly analyze your strength after a 10 minute assessment and then adjust all the future weights for all of the moves to accommodate your strength. As you work out and get stronger, Tonal will automatically adjust your weights up by a minimum of 1 pound. This works. And the data visible to you SHOWS that it works. After just over 2 years of use, my Strength Score (the overall assessment of your strength) has increased nearly 300%. It's so motivating.

The coaches are top in their fields. They not only provide guidance (and humor!) within each of the workouts, but they also listen to and respond to the community on Facebook and provide SO much more content outside just the Tonal itself. They are amazing!

The breadth of content is remarkable. Between full programs that can last anywhere from 1 week to 4 weeks, a slew of individual workouts, strength training, barre, HIIT, meditation, mobility, live classes and more, you'll always have something new to do on your Tonal.

The Tonal Community on Facebook is unlike any other community I've experienced on the social sites. It's filled with super positive folks who all encourage each other and share success stories and it's genuinely a place I go to to seek motivation!

Lastly, it's important to state that the product is nearly unrecognizable now from the original product I bought 2 years ago. This speaks to the level of work that the company has been putting on behind the scenes to listen to customer feedback, update regularly, add brand new content and features, and to also just make the device overall better. And this is all without having to buy anything new. So so good.

If you're looking for the highest technology at-home strength training solution that takes up minimal space, has amazing content and coaches, then just know that there is nothing quite like Tonal.

The Tonal is amazing! It's very easy to use and love the fact that it knows just how much weight I need for each workout after I did the first workout assessment! It's been perfect for each workout and I've never adjusted it! It saves so much time and love doing the workout programs they have available! The programs make it so easy automatically setting the reps and weight for you and showing you how to clearly do each workout! I've been working out on the Tonal about 3 months now and have definitely seen the results! Love having this at home and does 95% of the workouts I used to do at a public gym! I love how smart it is and how it some how always knows when your form is off during a rep and what you need to do to fix it! I highly recommend it to anyone that is debating on purchasing one! The Tonal has exceeded my expectations. I have a peloton, treadmill and the Tonal and with all this I will never need to go back to a public gym. I never had issues with it not providing enough weight during workouts! It works perfectly every time! I love how it connects to my wireless headphones, my Apple Watch to record my workouts, and Apple Music to pick whatever songs I want during the workout! Would purchase it again in a heartbeat!

Of course everything has its Cons so I will give you my opinion

Cons: The negatives to the Tonal compared to the gym is even though I can do every upper body workout I used to do at the public gym and more, the legs is the downside. They have a bunch of leg workouts and believe me I'm always sore after each leg day, but I prefer the gyms leg machines to include leg press, leg extension machines and traditional squat racks.

Another Negative to the Tonal but not a deal breaker for me because of all the pros, is I feel the monthly subscription price is a little high and it should have come with at least a free first year with the purchase. I believe if that was lower they would sell more. Since after recommending the Tonal to several family and friends because of how much I love it, they were hesitant due to the monthly subscription rate and they would have purchased and felt more comfortable committing if it was lower.

Tonal has been a game changer for me. There are so many options of workouts. The AI knows when to add weight to my workouts and I never feel rushed and can go at my own pace with the strength training. I really do feel like I have a personal trainer. I also love that it doesn't take up a lot of space

Customer service was excellent. First machine had a defective part and whole unit was immediately replaced. Work outs exceed expectations and you get out of it what you put in.

I do my cardio with Peloton. For everything else I use Tonal. I am 6'8 and used to play professional basketball, so I was a bit worried that the weight wouldn't be enough or that movements would be limited. I can tell you that the movements are virtually limitless with the difference angles and the weight is PLENTY enough. I won't max out in this lifetime haha.
I'm very very impressed with Tonal. I just moved to a house and wanted to have my own gym - et voila. Done.

Yes it took a bit for my tonal to come in and quite frankly, it took me a bit more to get into the routine, but now that I am I would never want to be without tonal in my home. The resistance is incredible and challenging; it can push you just as hard as free weights. Yes it "feels" different mainly because it is different; it's amazing. I don't have to drive to the gym, don't have to drive home, don't have to find the extra time and risk additional germ exposure from the person who didn't wipe down their bench. I drink my pre workout, wait for my meeting to end, and hit tonal like I have a score to settle. I've gained a ton of strength and muscle mass with tonal. It has been a critical component on my mission to get rid of the pandemic weight gain after being stuck at home eating Cheetos all day (I mean don't get me wrong, Cheetos are wonderful). Is it the same as a gym with free weights clanking and the feeling of adding another plate to the bar? No. But does it give you options like chains mode for increased resistance and gains, as well as, spotter assist when your are pushing you max? Yes. I don't have to have the awkward "will you spot me" moment, thanks for that tonal. I love the feeling of free weights and tried tonal thinking it would be ok but never satisfying. I was wrong. This thing will kick your behind if you let it. I can create my own workouts or use a coach (special shout out to Coach Paul who inspired my beast mode title, that guy lives beast mode). Bottom line, want gains and the ability to build strength at home in an incredible and effective new way? Get tonal. Period.

This machine will blow you away. It removes all of the hassle and space requirements of free weights. It tracks and adjusts your resistance on each exercise, making your workout super efficient. The classes are excellent, and the ability to design your own programs allows you to precisely dial in your perfect workout regimen. Automatic spotting, smart flex, eccentric, and chain are all very useful features, and can only be done properly using Tonal. Way more sophisticated, precise, and much safer than doing negatives with a partner. I use Tonal 3-4 times every week. This is the future of resistance exercise.

I ordered my Tonal in January. I was told shipping would be 12 weeks. I received an email and info my unit would ship on April 26th. Suddenly the date has changed to May 10th. No communication from Tonal, not even an email. Poor customer service. When you are paying the price that they charge, they should keep you in the loop every step of the way. I am planning on canceling my order. If they don't communicate with you prior to getting your Tonal and before they get your money, how bad will the communication be once they have your money.

This company is not customer friendly and from right after the sale, the customer means nothing.
