Cheapest of cheap cotton, sizing is wrong, a replacement shirt they sent me had the lettering/graphics blurry and out of focus so obviously no quality control. I bought shirts from them years ago but they have nose dived in terms of quality. Avoid at all costs.
I purchased a shirt on Threadless that benefitted a non-profit organization. I ordered what I thought was my size based on their description and size chart. When I received the shirt, it was tiny and looked more like it would fit my toddler. I was confused because I thought I read the sizing correctly and chose this shirt based on that sizing. I emailed customer service and was amazed at how quickly they responded. They did say that the cut I ordered was more of a junior shirt (it should be called that online), but offered to send me a replacement shirt in my size very quickly. They took what could have been my first and last purchase with Threadless and turned it in to what will become repeat business. I am very impressed with their customer service!
If there was a zero star rating I would have selected that. I have been a long and loyal Threasless customer for over past 10 years... no more. I have just received my latest consignment of 6x mens tshirts and the quality of both the tshirt material and print is nothing short of appalling. The quality control has slipped enormously from even 18 months ago when I placed my last order... and the quality was already going downhill then. They literally look like $1 tshirts from a joke shop and are not fit for purpose. I would be embarrassed to wear them and have emailed demanding a full refund as I have literally been robbed on this order. After 10 years of loyal custom I say farewell to what once was a great little start-up company and is now just scam. Like a beautiful looking car with no engine under the bonnet.
I'm a little sad seeing the negative reviews. I have ordered a few times from Threadless and have received t-shirts of pretty normal quality. If you do not wash the print like the instructions say, then yes, the print is going to crumble and peel. They post explicit instructions in the packing slip and on the t-shirt itself.
I also ordered my last t-shirts the wrong size, yay me! I contacted Threadless immediately. They responded promptly and professionally the very next day and replaced my products with speed.

The shirts are printed for your size with the print you request. Contact them (politely, y'know, because they're humans too?), they respond. Don't sit at home and scream on the Internet.

I just received part of my order today, and the quality is horrific. First off, it took forever for them to ship these items and for what the cheapest shipping cost, it was expensive for something that took almost two weeks to get here. Priority mail shipping would've been significantly cheaper.
The 2 tote bags I ordered arrived in TERRIBLE condition for something that's new and supposed to be custom printed. One of them has several discolorations on it, and the other is white on the outside but with a black lining and the material is SO THIN that you can see the black lining from the outside better than you can see the white background and design! It's appalling, especially for what I paid for these.
The other item that's a complete disgrace is the Bad Dreamcatcher French Terry Zip-Up Hoody in a Smoke Color. This hoodie is NOT smoke or any version of the color smoke. It's NAVY BLUE, A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT COLOR that what is described on the website! On top of that, the design is poorly printed on the hoodie; there are discolored spots all over the design and around the design. The material of this hoodie is also ridiculously thin and see through. It looks like something old you'd throw away, not something brand new.
Lastly, the muscle tank I ordered is also ridiculously see-through thin, the design is not as pictured in terms of color (this shirt's design has NO color whatsoever in contrast to the website where it has color), and the material is NOT AS DESCRIBED ON THE WEBSITE. The website says it's a "super soft cotton and polyester blend." This shirt has NO cotton in it at all. The quality of both the print and the shirt itself is just horrible.
These are issues that cannot be fixed by simply reprinting replacements. Really cool designs, but this is appalling quality, especially for what they're charging for these items. Luckily for Threadless, they've covered themselves with that convenient "no returns" policy (probably because they know that everyone would be requesting refunds). I now have over $200 of worthless merchandise. What a waste of time and money.
The quality of goods for the money spent was disgusting. I thought I was supporting a much needed movement and got taken big time.

I am really desperate and disappointed by threadless and over all their customer relationship. Years ago I ordered some t-shirts and even today I wearing one of these because they are cool, they were relatively cheap and have a good quality. Because of this in august I ordered four new t-shirts and what should I say? After more than nearly six weeks I didn't receive any t-shirt. They had taken the money after one week, but until today I didn't get anything and they do not react to any message. Really bad.
I am seeing all these terrible reviews, but I've nothing bad to say about threadless. The designs are so stinkin awesome, and you support artists. The t-shirts have lasted me YEARS that I first bought. Wonderful fit, and wonderful customer service. Just want to throw something else out there, they usually ship pretty freaking quick, but I do notice that if there is a good sale or during the holiday season they do take quite a bit longer to get out. So order early when you need to and there will be no problems. :)
I really like the desings and the prices are okay, the quality of the clothes is good and the customer service is quite good. Also you are supporting an artist when you purchase their desing
I can't believe how low the quality of these t-shirts is!
I had ordered from this shop previously and the quality was very good. This time, the fabric is very thin, smells funny, seams are unraveling and the t-shirt feels like it's going to fall apart after the first wash.
There is even a leftover bit from the original tag that they had ripped off from the t-shirt, before ironing on their own tag!
This is absolutely unacceptable. A t-shirt of this quality can be ordered from Chinese websites for less than 5$, including a custom print + shipping.
See the attached photo for comparison, the old, hi-quality t-shirt is the one with the blue bit. Notice the ripped off tag.
I am extremely disappointed, don't order from this website if you don't want to spend 20$ on something that is worth less 5$ and will quickly fall apart.

Received our T-Shirt today and the quality was just OK. Not as cool in person as it was on the website. Wanted to return it but on the invoice in Super Small Print. There is a NO RETURN POLICY. Can't believe in this online world of ours there is no way to return an item we are not satisfied with. I'll never purchase anything from Threadless again. You've been warned.
The cut of the shirts could be different, but the art work is truly beautiful. It's my favorite site for shirts because the designs are so different.
We got our new shirts in the mail it came in good time and my partner had a previous shirt from threadless same picture so we decided to buy the same one again as he loved the design when we got the new one it was the total wrong colours used in the design so we took a picture of the old and new one together and said we wanted it the same coloures this did not happen as i have just opened brand new parcel with same print dark and not the same, may as well not have a print on the shirt as its so black am not happy as these shirts cost alot WILL NOT BUY FROM THREADLESS EVER AGAIN!
They really botched my order, bought a $100 worth of t-shirts for Christmas gifts - ordered it on December 1st, here it is the 17th, tried to reach their customer service, only email of course, took them three days to get back to me, told me they have a problem with their distributor - and I would probably get the shirts in 3 week to a month. To bad for Christmas, like I'm going to give them to people next month and tell em I'm a jack $#*!, here's your damn present. Never ever again, bad, bad guys!: (
Threadless is a great place to get quality shirts and other items with uniquely beautiful designs. Whenever my husband or I need a beautiful new shirt or iPhone cover I go to their site. Recently I had an issue with receiving the wrong item when I ordered, but their customer service representative was extraordinarily helpful and helped get the item I ordered in a quick and timely manner (read less than 24 hours to get a response to my email and less than two days to reorder the item I originally requested). Not even Amazon fixes their mistakes that quickly.
This is the second holiday in a row that I have ordered from Threadless. Last year when I NEVER got my order their reply to my inquiry was "Oh no! It looks like the following shipment from your order accidentally got placed for warehouse pick-up. We had tried to switch it to Postal shipping back on 12/4, but it looks like a technical hiccup from the switch from warehouse pick-up to postal caused your order to fail in reaching the shipping process :( " This year I placed an order three weeks earlier, and even then did not get my package two weeks after they said it had shipped. When I inquired where it was their reply was "Unfortunately we have some bad news about your recent Threadless order. Your order was mistakenly packaged inside another customer\'s shipment." I would like to say that their merchandise is worth this hassle, but no merchandise is worth this. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE
I tried to be part of their community by posting some of my own work for their contests but the community (Who vote for the designs to get printed) are usually unfair and unjust by voting other designs poorly to bring their own design's score up. And occasionally when a good original design is posted they will decline it and give you a comment they give every other person who is declined "We believe you can do better on this design".
