The insurance representative quoted a price to me which included discounts he said I was qualified for but after signing up I was informed that I didn't qualify for it because my other insurance lapsed by 2 days. The insurance representative was aware of this when he quoted me the discounted price. I will not be renewing with The Zebra insurance company as I do not like deceitful tactics to get a sale.
I have already recommended Zebra to a family member and will continue to recommend Zebra to whomever I know that needs it. I got new car insurance and renters insurance. It was just so easy - one stop shopping. I was so happy they could just get me signed up right then - all documents and pictures done and my policies delivered. The agent who helped me clearly new what she was doing. Not a lot in life is easy, but this was, and not even for a fee. I really appreciated it.

Xochitl was very informative in explaining something as simple and inexpensive as renters insurance could be so valuable I'm a believer and I recommend everyone call Xochitl for a quote right now. She has the best rates out there!
My dealership and I have been calling all day to put my new vehicle on my policy since Safeco makes you go through your agent, in this case the zebra. It is IMPOSSIBLE to reach anyone there. Ended up switching companies so I could actually get the vehicle insured. Steer clear of this company.
This is the second time I have used The Zebra to find reputable Auto Insurance at a reasonable price. The first time, they found me a Full Coverage Policy for the same price I was paying just for Liability. This time they found me an Insurance Company that gave me the exact same coverage for $400.00 per year less than I was paying. Heard about Zebra from a family member. Visited their website and within 30 minutes had insurance! Alex was polite and super helpful! Saved me money and gave me extensive options. This was the easiest buying and insurance policy has ever been. Gina my agent at The Zebra was super helpful, and got me the best rate I've ever gotten. She followed up when she said she would. She even gave me a direct number so I there is no long wait to speak with her. Seriously the Best!
I tried this website because of the excellent reviews and some online commentary. Our premiums for auto insurance with our current insurer had shot up despite our excellent record and no claims, But even with all the discounts, lowest coverage and bundling of home and auto insurance the lowest quote was at least twice as much as my current insurance, and the second lowest was three times as high! Disappointing, and I wasted time filling up all the information. How did they get such high reviews? Are these genuine?

Parasitic site. Came back with a list of several insurers websites most with out quotes, I had to enter my info again. Zebra likely gets ad revenue or makes a commission for referrals. Total self serving scam.
They claim they make money from insurance companies, I don't believe it. Their goal is to funnel you into a hole and bleed you for personal information while each successive click strips away more consumer protection granting them and their "marketing partners" additional freedom to abuse your data.

I shopped around for car insurance and "The Zebra" were the best at communicating my coverage to me! Customer service was outstanding! I Highly recommend this company if you're needing insurance!
I hooked up with zebra a little over a year ago. They switched me over to safeco to to save me money. The representative at safeco thought he was funny and acted like a while doing my policy. Then I switched vehicles, 3 weeks later I break down.
I called for roadside assistance and they said I didn't have it anymore. The incompetent rep that wrote my new policy took it off without telling me, no notification. So here I am stranded along the highway and safeco and zebra car insurance reps will not help period. I told the representative when I got the new policy I wanted the same coverage as before, and confirmed It had roadside assistance.
Yet here I am stuck on the road stranded.
Do Not trust zebra or safe co Insurance with your safety or your insurance Ever.
