The Mr. Asked what to get the girl who has everything and I asked him to replaced the plants he threw away after I stopped caring for them when grad school started. I missed them terribly and now have a whole new bunch to over/underwater. Ordering was easy peasy and Fed Ex was remarkably good about delivering with care. Most of the plants arrived in good condition. We're nursing one (with high hopes!) and given the numerous of plants ordered I'm impressed. So far, very happy with our order.

I came back to The Sill because I thought the first snake plant I got was great. The prickly pear cactus I got was small but good condition as well. But when I got this large Dracaena (my third plant from them), it was in bad condition. Lots of curled up dying leaves. It did not sit out too long as I got the delivery and unpacked it right away. I'm determined to get this thing healthy and stick with it so I didn't report it as I'm not throwing it out, but it was definitely a sour note for me.
My Chinese Fan Palm arrived in a satisfactory time period, was packaged well & protected. The plant is beautiful, is a nice size and looks healthy. Unfortunately some leaves were bent and I hope this doesn't affect the continued health of the plant.
Dear Sill, I have been a customer for some time, and I've bought a number of plants and your soil in that time. This time, your soil arrived in a plain cubical box that must have weighed 30 lbs. My first question is Why do you ship your soil soaking wet? Also, the sturdy bag it used to come in has been exchanged for a flimsy one. All in all, not so good. I may buy plants from you in the future, but I'll look elsewhere for soil.
We were truly surprised at how healthy and beautiful the two tea olives were when we received them. Initially we though, ummmm they'll probably get here half dead but to our amazement they were lush and green, as though we had just bought them at a local nursery... that being said, we ordered four more tea olives, they arrived in just a few days and they too were in excellent shape. WE LOVE THE SILL!
I received my order plant on July 10. Followed the directions, but the plant dropped all its leaves after a couple of days planting it. I was going to wait around 30 days to see if it would bounce back. However, after about 10 days, Sill called me and asked how the plant was doing. I explained what happened. The representative asked me to take some pictures and send them to her. After reviewing the pictures, she said that she was sending me out a new one even though I didn't even ask for one. Also, she threw in a virtual call with the plant expert, Paris. I received the replacement plant and followed the instructions from Paris, plus the other items like knowing the soil type, etc. It's been over a month and the plant is doing good.
Really disappointed that my plant looked nothing like the photo on the site. Arrived in healthy condition, but was incredibly too wide and completely unlike what I was expecting. Now, it does not have a space in my home and I am having a hard to reselling it for a decent price due to it being overpriced. No returns or even exchanges given by the sill team even after all of this. Very very disappointed.
Very satisfied with the packing, the condition of the plant, and how healthy it was on arrival. So much so, it was ready to do its rare bloom.

Don't order plants in summer if you live in a hot climate (Austin Texas)
Ordered a plant and it arrived severely damaged. Went through customer service and ordered a replacement, which also arrived severely damaged. Bad quality all around, will not be returning again or recommending.
Bought a couple plants and one just kind of had a traumatic shipping process. Despite watering and varying levels of sunlight, it just never bounced back. The Sill team (shoutout Paris!) gave us a free video consult to see if we could salvage it, and when we couldn't they sent a full credit +10%. We ended up buying a different plant that's been much happier. We've bought from The Sill before and will absolutely buy again!
I was so happy that Sill reached out to me after I had realized that I gave a wrong address for "a raspberry bush sent as a gift in memory of my friends late mother" was said "delivered" but she never got it. Sill, without hesitation, got me to get them the right address and sent a new bush to my friend at no extra cost. In such a delicate time, that meant so much. She has received it and loves it! She looks forward to enjoying it in memory of her mother! Thank you Sill! You saved the day!

I received a gift card for The Sill for my birthday. I had never heard of this company before. I was so excited to use it! My daughter picked out a fig tree which we received pretty quickly. However, it looked dead when we received it. I sent a photo and right away was told another one would be sent. I received that one quickly and it was fine. I almost threw away the one I thought was dead but I held on to it and watered it a lot and surprisingly it came back! That is a testament to the quality of their plants and the customer service is great which means I have no problem ordering from them again or giving gift cards for them. Great company!
My husband gifted me an orchid a month from The Sill.These flowers have been absolutely gorgeous.And the one time that I had an issue (probably caused by the weather) The Sill was quick to replace the plant.
All of the plants died. All arrived in bad condition. Dead. Leaves and dry. Continued to lose leaved.just root ball left. Now no new growth. Worthless experience.
I ordered an African Milk Tree and it arrived in great shape except the pot it was in was broken in pieces. Now the Sill ox clearly says "this end up live plants " and unfortunately Fedx left it on its side. Sill was fantastic when I called and sent me a new pot at no charge
