Buyer Beware

Worst experience I've had with a business in a long time. I ordered 5 plants from them. The red prayer plant arrived in poor shape but it's slowly recovering. The two ferns both died of root rot within two weeks, the philodren arrived heat damaged because it sat in a box for four days before they handed it off to FedEx, and the last - a ruby red ficus - I can't review because they didn't send me one. They bait and switched and tried to pawn off the type of green ficus you can get it in the generic flower section of any grocery store for $7.99. Save yourself the trouble and order from basically anywhere else. Horrible horrible horrible company.

Package arrived late.

The last purchased I made a came late and I contacted customer service and was told just to give it time. It never came back to life and now the plant is dead.

Multiple experiences-all good!

My first experience was upon receiving a plant as a gift from The Sill. It arrived damaged and was readily replaced. It was during the holiday season, and I think delivery companies were over burdened and not very careful. When the replacement also arrived damaged, I requested a credit to be used at a later date. Months later, I purchased raspberry bushes for my garden. Love them!

Beautiful, healthy plant

I've ordered several plants over the last 2-3 years and every one was healthy. They were so carefully packaged that there was only minimal leaf damage at the most, and usually no damage at all. I am so happy with my plants

True to their promise

I had a plant arrive in very bad shape. All leaves brown and after submitting picture I was sent a new plant in great condition. Thank you for your help. I have been coming to the Sill now for years now

Such beautiful plants

Have purchased many plants from Sill and all are still alive and well. They take great care in packaging and shipping. Plus I love their sales. Recently purchased a Jasmine plant for my patio and am so happy with it. Arrived looking so healthy. Love that this company deliveries so quickly to NYC. Home delivery makes my city life so much easier.

Three dead plants

What happened, The Sill? The order I placed was a gift for a friend who is recovering from a major procedure and heading into further treatment. Unfortunately, the experience has been deeply disappointing. She received a dead plant not once, not twice, but THREE TIMES. All of the processing and reordering created more work and stress instead of bringing a bit of much needed comfort and encouragement. This is a surprising departure from your usual quality, and I urge you to take extra care in QC practices - both in the health of the plants and in how they are packaged and shipped (i. E., overnight rather than ground / 1-week transit time).

I ordered a plant and a pot as a gift. The plant was perfect but the pot arrived broken. I emailed with customer service, sent pics and Leahlyn was such a big help. Immediately put through for a replacement pot and it was received yesterday. My friend sent a pic of the happy plant along with it and it really was so pretty. I totally appreciate the great customer service. Very easy! Thank you!
